Thank you the helpful, detailed and awesome tutorial. 😊
Loved your video!! Thank you for sharing every step and for putting what you used in the description! A lot of people don’t do that and for those just starting out, it helps a TON!!
I’m so glad it was helpful!! Thank you for watching ☺️
This video answered every question I have! Good job ♥️
I'm so glad! Thank you ☺️
can't wait to recreate! thanks for making this video so simple and understanding.
You are so welcome!
TFS Looking forward to your future videos... Have a great day!
Thank you! You too!
Thanks for taking time to share your techniques. Your video is long enough but unlike other “trilogies” on UA-cam. 😝
Suggest you watch Jennifer Maker’s “Vertical Welcome Sign on a Cricut: trick to aligning vertical letters”
I’ve found apply Minwax Polyacrylic allows letters to stick very well w/o any other steps. Permanent vinyl letters are rated at about 3-6 years depending on the quality, so no need for extra work on more Mod Podge. Hope this helps. Be well & God Bless OH! ….Happy Turkey Day too 🦃
Thanks friend!
Thank you for sharing this
thanks for watching! :)
another good tool is polycrilic before u lay your vinyl down . great work, love the sign!
Good tip! Thank you ☺️
This is beautiful. Love it and it looks amazing. Thank you for sharing
Thank you!
Hello loved the video
Im just having trouble figuring out the size of the letters...🙄 What size where your letters
i just play around with it! I believe these letters were about 8 inches wide.
Definitely going to be trying this! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! 🖤
Love it ! Trying this tomorrow!
Awesome!! HAPPY CRAFTING 🥰
beautiful!!
I am curious if you still have this sign and if you put it outside? thank you for a very well done video
Oh wow! This was super easy! Thanks for making this video! I am thinking of making a Thanksgiving and Christmas sign so this video helps a lot! ♥️
Thank you for watching ❤️❤️
Awesome video. I made the same sign for a gift. However, I used polyacrylic Not sure if it works the same as hodgepodge?
My question is how to protect the letters from natural sun/heat? This sign was in hot conditions and the letters started to bubble. I thought the poly acrylic would prevent that? Any thoughts? Thanks again!
Love it simple🎼
Glad you like it! :)
why wouldn't you cut three letter at a time to save you so much stress with leveling and measuring? I'm just curious - your video was great !!
You certainly could! I just found it easier with one at a time, actually ☺️
Great video!!!
Thanks 😊❤️
Thank you for sharing. Did you walk into Home Depot and just ask them to cut the wood for you? It’ll be very first time to do this and I’m excited to make this project. Thank you.
You can :) I certainly have many times! For this sign I found this piece of wood twice as long as I needed so I just bought the whole thing and had my boyfriend cut it in half 😜
Would fence board be too narrow?
Awesome Job!!! I just bought a cricut and this will be my first project. I downloaded the Canva app but I don’t know how to find the “Depends who you are” and “-ish”. Could you tell how to? Thanks!!
I designed it myself ❤️ I just typed it out using the text and saved it as an image 😊
@@jessicajeneice I FINALLY got it. Lol Thanks again!!!
I really enjoyed this video, super easy, my question is can you use a Cricut Joy for the lettering and if so what size, I am a beginner at this. TIA
Love this video. What font was used?
Do you seal it after you are done with vinyl?
Yes! :)
Sealing with polyurethane will give a much better surface for the vinyl than mod podge.
Just personal preference. :)
What is the mini level you are referring to? Where can I buy one?
Don’t you have to seal in the letters?? Will the letters start to peel off quick? & if you do seal what’s a good sealer!? Thanks in advance.
Yes I always seal! I seal after staining and again after the letters using mod podge. 😊
Will regular Modpoge work instead of spray?
Would the regular mod podge matte work?? the spray version isnt in stock anywhere near me :( Edit: the satin spray is in stock, could that work as well?
Could you make the letters with the iPad app?
Im not sure! Im sure you could, i just never have.
What size are the letters? Length and width in Design space?
Each of the welcome letters is 3.297 tall. Width varies on each letter. :)
Thank you.
@@jessicajeneice how far apart do you put the letters
How long did you wait between each layer of mod podge?
15-20 minutes :)
The question is.. where is the little leveler from!? Hahaha
I got it at the hardware store but they're also on Amazon, Walmart, and I think I even saw them at Target! ☺️
Why did you use canva for Depending on who you are instead of cricut?
For the fonts! I like designing and using the Canva features for free rather than paying for fonts ☺️
What's the difference between permanent vinyl and premium vinly
Hm, I'm not sure. Permanent vinyl is for projects you want to last a long-long time. Projects like car stickers, mugs, outdoor items, etc.
How thick is the wood?
I am New to the Cricut Family and I liked your video but you went to fast to me and I'm struggling with Sizing my Letters so I wish you would have explained that a little better!! I'm still confused
Sorry! It's hard to explain, just keep working at it and you'll get it :)
What size are the letters of welcome.
350 size font 😊
@@jessicajeneice ok, thank you
This is great! Thanks for making this! Do you ever make painted signs using stencils made from Cricut?
I haven't yet but I REALLY want to! 🤩
Ok so the letters are what size in inches
@@tanyasherrod6179 I'm sorry I'm not sure in exact inches. The font size was 350 and I believe they were about 2 inches wide.
Jeez you have 110 lucky
Heck yes!
The vinyl doesn’t stick because the stain has oil .
Yes, the struggle is real!
@@jessicajeneice how did your letters stick? My vinyl won't 🥺
How much would you sell these signs for?
I sold each for $45 :)
Can you use polyurethane to seal the letters instead??
I'm sure you can! I personally only use Mod Podge but I don't see why you couldn't use Polyurethane! ☺️
Where do you get your vinyl?
Like what is it called on amazon?😅
@@katieg7362 Its called "Self Adhesive Vinyl 12 Inch by 25 Feet Matte White..." or there's a link in the description. ☺️
My letters wont stick!!!! Why? 😪
Did you seal after staining? The stain has oils that make the vinyl not stick :( Usually sealing the stain helps ❤️
@@jessicajeneice i did. But i wasnt generous with it.
Good video . U are cute
😊 thank you
To cute, because everyone is not welcome. lol
What font you use on Cricut?
Baskerville for Welcome (from Cricut design space) and the cursive is Rumba (from Canva.com) 😊
