Despite all those 100k resistors this build was quick and straight forward. Large solder pads, good layout. I recommend! Even for the noobs! Thank you!
@@AISynthesis Also this thing is so awesome. It will never leave my system. I'm currently listening to the first patch that I've made with it. Square and sine waves running from a 3340 oscillator feedback through two Electric Druid pedals that I also built (Filter FX a vactrol-based filter and the hard bargain distortion pedal. A little bit of random voltage and let feedback do the rest. Sounds incredible. I've always loved feedback patching. Now I can always have the feedback potential without taking up a precious channel on my outboard mixer. My collaborator Bernie Durnheim and I will be making a video on this patch soon.
@@AISynthesis Yes, definitely making a video on this thing, truly a synth mystic's delight. So much to discuss here re this module and synth mysticism. Our first video on the topic is here ua-cam.com/video/0bcBbfh7qUs/v-deo.html
Wow I've been putting this build off way too long, that looks pretty straight forward and quick! Thanks Abe! I will probably end up with more of these lol
Does it matter how resistors are oriented when putting them into the holes on PCB, or not ? Please en-light me ❤ Looking forward to take a plunge, and do my very first DYI build with this butiful module.

Hey there do you make these with 1/4” outs by chance? Im not a modular guy but would love a stereo matrix mixer for guitar pedal board. You would sell the hell out of them for guitarists, one boutique builder sold out in seconds yesterday for his stereo matrix mixer.
@@joeymc5272 I'm saying it is probably too much of a pain to set up a guitar enclosure shop. Just buy this, it's less than I would charge www.pladaskelektrisk.com/product/matrise/

@@AISynthesis Also greatly appreciate how the module works against fascism. We are all part of this fight. Thanks for your contribution.

No orientation to resistors. In the printable build guide on the build page it will pint out parts with orientation.
Awesome! I'm really looking forward to the build!
Does it need electricity? (12v)
yes, +/- 12V
Is it 10 or 16 pin?@@AISynthesis
@@rl1652 10 pin power socket. You can find more info at aisynthesis.com/build
Any tips on installing the pot knobs. It's hard to get the precision screw driver in there and make them all uniform.
I start with the third row, left to right, then the second, then the first, then the bottom row.
Possible to get this DIY or premade in EU? :)
3u in EU, Thonk in UK aisynthesis.com/where-to-buy-modular-synth-kits/
@@AISynthesis ah didnt find 3U sadly its not available as a built version there but i will get in contact with them :)

I do not. If you have a link to the boutique builder I would be interested to see. ATM I don't have much of a guitar brand though.
I would purchase one for sure
@@joeymc5272 probably too much of a pain to set up an enclosure lab in my workshop. Euro faceplates I can just order.
