- Here’s the story of how I made my full-metal functional ‘homemade suit’ web-shooters, as seen in Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man Far From Home.

How’d you know I never heard about you🤨
Just a hunch
Big shoutout to Sean's Crafts 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely! Sean’s Crafts does incredible web shooter work, I’m always impressed by his designs.
@@ColeFailing I actually like yours a bit better though. The way it looks and its functionality is very impressive. Did you add a 90 degree torsion spring to get it to flex like that?
@@TheAnitdote Thank you! No, there aren’t any hidden springs though - the spring you see that holds the trigger in place on the body is the same one that pulls the trigger back to it’s locked position.
@@ColeFailing I see how the trigger pulls back into its locked position but what about the wrist? Also, how does the firing mechanism actually work? What's actually holding the 'bullet' in place before its release? Is there a stop block?
@@TheAnitdote There is a stop block, it's a small metal pin that engages a threaded screw that I drilled out to be the 'bullet'. Pushing down on the trigger pulls on a cable that releases the pin. I'm working on a new web shooter video that will hopefully go much further into depth about the firing process since so many people had questions haha
You didn't actually show the build ?? What was the point of the video ??
Well, I figured that nobody wanted to see hours of footage of me standing at the mill. The purpose of the video was mostly to talk about the build process. But I hear you - I’ll try to include more assembly footage in my next video.
