It s so touching seeing your excitement and your evolution as a doctor. Good luck in your career and never lose that passion
Man you have reached so far from med school to a doc. RESPECT SIR ❤
You are literally glowing when you spoke about being involved in the surgery. It’s amazing to see the actual parts of the body in person rather than a text book. I get your excitement. I’ve been an aged care nurse specialising in pal care & EOL care for 7 years. I’ve just moved into cardiac nursing and I’m so excited with this new role. I had a laugh when you said following the surgeons as they moved around at lightning speed. One of the cardiologists at the clinic I work in comes from the hospital. Patients wait up to 2 hours to see him. I see the patients before he does. He passes me at lightning speed. I just see a flash of blue go past me (the surgeon in his scrubs)
Hey Nasir 3 years ago l found your video on how to study 8 hours a day . That has motivated me so much . This year I have got chance to study in a medical college in my country ( Bangladesh). Your tips have helped me a lot. So thank you and keep posting more effective videos
I'm loving these Rotation Reviews for each specialty please keep them coming 🙏 good luck on your next rotations
As a Year 1 medical student in Hong Kong, I have a long way to go before working as a doctor, but listening to your passion and experiences on the job is truly inspiring and touching, and gives me hope that I will be able to sustain that passion as I progress through my medical curriculum! Thank you so much!
thank you so much for sharing your excitement about surgery so openly and genuinely! makes me so interested and excited too! i can't wait to start medical school in september, good luck in future rotations :)
I'm so happy to watch how excited you get when you are talking about surgeries! ;) I just love your describtion of different conditions - thank you for taking your time and doing that! I'm really looking forward begin medschool and you motivate me with every single video!❤
It's awesome to see you so exited, you're making me excited to get into medical school, so one day i could experience this!!
It amazes me how much you have accomplished to get where you are now. Very proud of you!!!!
Please, do more content like this. I'm final year med student, who's thinking about going to surgery and this type of videos are very helpful and making me be even more sure about becoming surgeon. Thank you!
I’m a Vascular Surgery resident, and I find it so funny that you got so excited about amputations. Even though I like doing them, it’s our “ugliest” kind of surgery 😅 By the way, the ruptured AAA you described was with a graft, they tried to do an aortobifemoral bypass. The stent one is endovascular, we call it EVAR. Even though the axillobifemoral is a cool procedure to see, it’s a last resource and has very poor long term patency. You should look up carotid endarterectomies, I think it’s our most beautiful kind of surgery!
Glad to see someone talking about vascular surgery so enthusiastically! Hope to have you as a colleague some day! 😊
Thank you for the message! Appreciate it :)
Such an excellent detailed experience of vascular surgery! Super impressed :) Glad you are enjoying your training so far :D
Your Videos really are life Changing. They really brought me to were I am. Especially your "Study with me" videos. Please make sure, that these videos always stay and remain on UA-cam, as these are the most important videos to ever exist on this platform. Thank you for being amazing
been waiting for this and was better than expected
I’m always so excited to see a new post of yours!
I got excited only by listening to your story! you deserve it man! keep going!
I love this kind of vídeos!!! Keep this format for each of your rotations please! 🥺❤️
I hope you really understand the depth at which you inspire us. Everytime you pick up your camera to share your passion, you inspire us to the core! May you continue and never faint. You are doing so well!
I appreciate that, thank you ❤️
More videos like these please, detailed and extremely insightful!
You got it!
I was waiting for it for sooo longgg
As a scrub nurse I feel the exact same way about surgery as you do even if it’s just retracting or cutting sutures. Being able to be apart of the team and seeing the anatomy up close is priceless I love it
ive been watching your videos since the 10th grade. this channel is one of the many reasons why i became motivated to enter the field of medicine. ive cleared my country's med school entrance exam and im waiting for college to start. you continue to keep inspiring me even today and erase every little doubt i have about entering this field.
I wish you all the very best❤😊🎉
Seeing you it feels always productive 🤩
How time flies, great to see you as Dr.Kharma !
Happy 28th birthday, Nasir! It's been amazing to watch your growth over the past few years - keep it up
i love how it went from " hi I'm nasir 4th year med student in kcl" to "hi I'm nasir a doctor"
So good to see you!!!
Nasir is gonna be a great surgeon 😍 good luck with your medical journey Doctor
Ever since one of your first videos on Notability, I've watched your videos since I started my undergrad at UofT a few years ago. Now, I'm starting dental school this Fall! The production on your videos is amazing: keep up the great work!
I've grown a lot too and watch you grow since the time you were a 2nd year medical student... I'm proud of you Man.
Hey Nasir, i’m from Brazil and I followed your channel since 2019 in my high school. I just wanna say that your videos change my life, I was, except in a private medical school in my country, but I will continue to pursuing a public university, because here they are better. Thank you very much for changing my life and my studies I hope to comment in the next year “I was accept in my dream university”.
BOA SORTE, MARLON! Espero que consiga uma estadual ou federal.
Make sure you record down in detail every operation and procedure you take part in and what exactly your role was! Very important for the future if you do decide to go into surgical training
Whenever these videos drop, I drop everything 😮💨
Feeling so happy seeing you so excited telling about the abdominal aneurysm

Cong's Dr Nasir Kharma .
I just remember watching your content right while you used to say you are a 1st year med student and now a doctor. Thank God you have made it.
Keep up the good work.
Bro, you are living your dream, i'm happy for you☺️☺️❤
You were and are one of my biggest motivators. I have been watching your study with me videos and vlogs since high school and witnessing your journey from med student to doctor is really inspiring to me. I’m glad to say I finally cleared my entrance exam in India and going to go to med school in a few months. And I’m really looking forward to watching all your med school ( usmle) and now hospital related videos.❤ Much love to you man you rock!
Same 😍 (not from high school but at the time applying med school). Good luck!
@@emibislimova8627 thank you!
Dr Kharma is back!
Hi Dr. K, just a couple of observations. I have been impressed by the empathy and compassion you have exhibited in general for your patients, particularly when dealing with end of life/death issues. I know you are incredibly excited about surgery in general, but I was struck by the sense of “disconnect” when you were talking about amputations. You didn’t address the huge effect they can have on the patient’s quality of life going forward, their need to mourn the loss of a limb, etc. While I know that the patient’s mental health is not the main focus of a surgeon, I firmly believe that being cognizant of how a surgery will affect them will make you an even better surgeon in the future. Sending best wishes for your future endeavors.
Great Video Nasir.
It’s been a great journey with you bro ❤
Love you Nasir, From preparing for medical school to being in second year medical student,
Thank you ❤❤
Nassir it is nice to see that you put the patients in center! And talk about the tuff period as a new doctor, and don't is sow very fixated on the paying you get! 👨⚕️🕊🇸🇪
A day late if it was a Thursday schedule but I like this new ‘feast’ format videos where it’s a long video instead of bite sized content.
P.S. So happy to see you again! Warmest regards to all your loved ones.
Hello
I'm really glad to meet your channel, I'm interested in medicine, I learn a lot by watching your videos.
❤️wish you luck
to think I've been following you since you started med school and I was still studying to get into college. now you're a full doctor and I'm a 3rd year!!!!! feels like medfriends haha
Not me rushing to GPT to read on saturation and stuff 😂😂😂when I have zero medical experience… Nasir, you’re such a genuine spirit ❤
The way you talked about surgery - you'll be a fantastic surgeon. Good luck!
Welcome back 😊
I am starting med school next year, I decided I wanted to study medicine watching your videos 3 years ago, for that, I can’t thank you enough, I was just going to study engineering although I didn’t know even what it consisted of and I was unhappy, one summer I started watching your videos and I discovered my passion for medicine, from that moment on, I have loved medicine and everything around it, and next year I am starting my dream. THANK YOU because this would be impossible without you
How do u maintain consistency, it's hard to get into med school I'll give my exam next year n I love studying but I just fall off the grid even though ik I need to sell my soul n study for this 1 yr atleast I love being productive n hate it when I get distracted but somehow I can't always remember my path I don't have many distractions but sometimes I just fall
love your videos 😊
OMG i miss your vidéos i m about to begin my residancy and i m so excited 😍
My favorite doctor ever in UA-cam❤❤❤.
You’re such an amazing doctor … please don’t ever quit to be a full time UA-camr.
It’s such a joy to watch you all glow up talking about the medical stuff (that to me as a non medic sounds gross 🤣)!
Hello Dr Nasir,My name is Saqib khan and i am currently a medical aspirant in India. From the past 3 Years ive been watching you sir.
واخيرا مشتاقيلك ❤
Honestly I get so motivated to love medicine when I see kharma vedios
Happy birthday nasir!!! Love you man!!!!!

I am only in the 8th grade but your videos motivates me to study in a very productive way
I really wanted to thank you Nasir. You have inspired me to start my own youtube channel dedicated to creating study with me video. I really enjoy your videos. I hope one day I can buy you a real coffee
Bravo!! Enthusiastic doctor.
after soo soooo sooooo long!
A true inspiration.
Thank you Dr. Nasir.
Hi nasser I was watching your videos in the last year in school and now I am medical student in 3stage🤍
I can't help but notice and cry to the tiredness on his face😢
Thought of the same thing.. had a roommate who is a doctor and the struggle is real, they brake them all eventually, the pacing is insane and it never stops.
Missing a day in life & study vlogs fr…✨✨✨
I like u when you were student, and i love you when you are a doctor
Trauma is more paced and you get pts. With only the history of E.R. and ambulance gesture on the pt. But eventually more surgeries on a regular shift❤
Can you discuss your usmle test day experience? And your plans moving forward from those results?
Okay now I’m gonna go study 😌
I can imagine you coming into work being like "yes I get to chop someone's limb off today" 🤣
Hello hello
Long time
We miss you
I wish I can reach my dream in sha Allah , like you Dr 🫀🫀
Hello Nasser, I hope you answer my question. I am in a country that does not allow studying medicine unless your success rate from school is 100%. If I come to London or another country, will I study medicine at a lower rate, for example, 80%, or 100%?
Hello Nasser, I hope you will return the translation to Arabic, your follower from Iraq. I wish you success

My father died immediately after stent open surgery for aortic aneurism influenced my entering premed and then covid furlough made the decision for me to go back to school as premed to hopefully become a neurologist rather then electronic engineering
what's your thought on the junior doctor strikes
Hi Dr Kharma! Just wondered which trust are you currently working to have gotten such amazing clinical experiences? I’m a fellow in the NHS. 😊
Love your videos
Nasir why don't you reply to me or send me a 👍 up
@haiderT-nk9xh stop begging for attention from him lmao.
@@joshhudson7413 bro shut up I don't want any attention okay I just want a like a thumbs up from him mind your own business doofus
I think you got too excited about a diabetic foot debridement🤣🤣 I’m very curious about what happened to the patient that refused the NG Tube, how did you fix his low saturation?
Nasir ‘I use Notion’ Kharma used a paper list which had to be updated manually? The scandal! (Jk)
P.S. I love a bit of clerical work.
Nasir is the first person I know who is excited by amputation. Then again, it suits the profession.
P.S. 14:39 The Joy is real. Good for you.
Dang you are still doing rotations!? I thought you were done - that is a crazy long process
Hey nasir ...following you from past2 years .....today i got my pre medical entrance exam and it was heastbrekaing coz i got rejected by only3 marks and i already taken 2 gap years going to take another ...i hope i really succedd ...waiting for your reply .......btw i m from india

Hey Kharma, Im hoping to apply at kings for medical school (undergrad) please can I have some advice? I love your videos
Missing your vlogs
I still dont know if Kharma got into any kind of training program / residency or if he's working without training
Are you allowed to leave the handover meeting to respond to the bleep? Let’s say you’re only getting 1 bleep
I agree all that admin could be addressed better. I work Nhs the management don’t understand still that investing in admin there is more availability of medical staff.
