Thumbs up for Megan dedicating an entire month to pies and the editing is on point-busy Mom and Dad family and all the things and they nail it every day with content-we need to give them a break and hope we have another month of goodies
This series was so much work, but so appreciated by the viewers! This was an amazing series! I enjoyed it soooo much and there are several that I want to try! Thank you for doing this!
@@liberty8442 It might be too uncomfortable seeing ALL of Mike's responses at once as his face looks like he's on a higher plane ( If you get my drift) sorry/not sorry :)
I'm English...... this is my favourite pie! You nailed it and yes it always tastes like there is potatoes in it. Thank you so much for all your hard work doing September pie. I've really enjoyed it.
Oh my. That pie looks delicious although I’m not sure my eyes could handle preparing all those onions. One thing I’ve enjoyed about this series is learning about new to me types of pies.
I have never heard of a cheese and onion pie and I am not mad at it-I welcome it and so excited to see the family reactions to it-and I know it’s gonna be good
Wonderful work Megan..I knew you all would love it , also give it a go as an onion cheese flan using your own lard pastry…..You deserve a pie master medal for so many reasons 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻…TFS🙌
Englishman here. That pie looked proper pukka. Tell me was the pastry crispy? It looked absolutely fantastic, you put way more butter in than I do and maybe that's what made it crispy (if it was). If so I'm going to try it next time I make a pork pie. Thanks.
It's been fun to watch you make pies! My mom made two or three pies every Saturday for Sunday dessert,my entire growing up years. It's been fun to see what you decided to bake. I make a pie about once a month...and holidays. Enjoy your pies!
This pie was so interesting. I had never heard of it before and probably would have passed over the recipe as I wouldn’t have thought onions would be good. It looks like everyone was surprised but happy to find it so delicious. I have thoroughly enjoyed the pie series. Thank you.
I almost gave a thumbs down since there is no sad face for it almost being over. I LOVE the pie series so I had to give it a thumbs up. Looked amazing as per the usual. So excited for soup and bread to come!!
Here in Georgia we make Vidalia Onion pie. Basically the same recipe but no mustard. They are delicious!! When I take them to church to are a hit also tomatoe pie using Vidalia onions.
What an amazing series ! I am however going to miss watching dad close his eyes when he takes his first bite ! Going to have to do a different series maybe one week a month? I am a baker but retired for 16 years and you have really inspired me to go back to baking pies again…maybe a cookie series? Veggie series? Holiday themed series cake series? You can’t just leave us hanging now after just one series !
Now this is my favorite next to the Sheppards pie and tamale pie ! Thumbs up! I’m so hoping tomorrow is spaghetti pie! If not, that’s ok. I will anxiously await for next year’s September pies videos!
Fantastic September Pie series, thanks for taking the time to show us so many different pies. I’m from the UK (live Manchester) and Cheese and Onion Pie is very popular in the North (Lancashire & Yorkshire). There are so many variations of this pie and potatoes are used to bulk out the filling and makes it cheaper. I think most recipes call for raw onions, but like the idea of cooking them first. Never heard of using Mustard and sour cream but again worth a try. Definitely going to try some of your sweet/dessert pies 🥧 🤤
Yes ma'am I'm so excited to watch this video although it's my favorite pie in England , I have no clue how it's made . They also have cheese and onion crisps (chips) that are so good !!
I'm so sad its going to be over. I so look forward each day too watching this series. I can completely understand how much work it has been. Thank you to you and your family for bringing a smile to my world this month, except fish pie ewww bahaha. Keep well.
I will be giving this pie a try. I had onion bread pudding for the first time at a church Christmas dinner and fell in love. I have a feeling it will be the same with the pie.
Hi I’m from England and we sometimes put powered potato 🥔 in my cheese onion pie it makes it a bit drier but you did a great job with all of your. Pies thank you.xxx
I know there is one more…but I have loved this September pie month series …and I am proud to see that the 🇬🇧 pie recipes were all very successful…😉 I have bought all the ingredients to make the lemon meringue pie ( shop bought pastry) baby steps🤣 ..but that chocolate one you did a few days ago has I intrigued me! Thank you as a family for the great ideas and ALL that taste testing😉🤗🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
I'm a bit puzzled about this one. Hot water crust pastry is made with what it says, water not milk, it has also to be cooled before it can be rolled out or it will fall to bits. I am sure enjoying watching all the pie videos, they all look scrumptious I am deciding which one to make first. I am glad though that I don't have to feed so many, one pie will do for us.
Wow,that was just mind boggling! Who knew, lol.Just the UK I guess! What a fun month it's been! Thanks for something new and interesting! Hugs from Missouri 🤗 ❤️
These were so enjoyable to watch. I think you should come up with another baking tutorial for a month. How about 30 cakes? Haha just kidding. Thank you for all of the time and effort in these vlogs.
Hi Ryan's mom Sam here.... this looked amazing I have to say I'm British and never heard of an onion pie 🤔we have cheese and onion pasties but I'm have to try this because man that looked good 😍 and well done Megan I have really enjoyed September pies and giving me great ideas for pies 😀x
Yes! Make pies forever!! 😂 That is an onion 💣 bomb pie! 😆 You should eat that when you’re feeling under the weather. Medicinal! It would kill all the germs!
Hi all, I LOVE everything you have done :) and sooooo jealous. Just needed to post that Mike's hummmm look reminded me of Eve. OK they have been hanging together way to long ❤❤
You should really try making the greggs pasties, people here do their own versions all their time. The sausage rolls and cheese and onion pasties are truly glorious and a British staple, we can all come together and agree that a good Gregg's is perhaps one of if not the one thing we all enjoy. Cheese and onion pasties contain more potatoes than cheese and onion haha, but that's what makes it so nice. Anyways, loved this series. x
Thumbs up for Megan dedicating an entire month to pies and the editing is on point-busy Mom and Dad family and all the things and they nail it every day with content-we need to give them a break and hope we have another month of goodies
And she’s still smiling 😂
Megan, I am pleasantly impressed. I have looked forward to your pies every day .You have done a great job. Thanks
Legit!
I’m English, and this has always been my absolute favourite pie. Good job!👍
This is zwiebelkuchen! I grew up eating it. Very common in Germany, and yes, it's our version of a quiche.
Looks amazing! You should keep doing recipes maybe once a week. I’ve really enjoyed all the recipes.
awesome idea!
Can’t wait to try this.
I’m from the uk and tats the best cheese and onion pie I’ve seen
That was a lot of work but what a beautiful pie!!! Loved everyone's reaction when you cut the first slice. This has been so fun. Thanks
I have loved this series…. Maybe another series? Cakes, cookies, soups, casseroles??? Thank you!!
She's doing breads and soups or stews for Oct!
I am really going to miss September pies! I looked forward to these videos everyday 😩
This series was so much work, but so appreciated by the viewers! This was an amazing series! I enjoyed it soooo much and there are several that I want to try! Thank you for doing this!
I’ve learned about many pies I had not heard of or seen before. Thank you for sharing this month!
Oh my goodness that was beautiful! Please, pretty please do a montage of Mike’s 30 reactions and Megan’s 30 “Let’s do it!”. Pretty please!
That would be so funny!

Ohhh I bet the crust would be good for a meat pie.
Thanks for all these fun pie videos. 😊
Yep here in the Uk that crust is used for pork pies
Oh my. That pie looks delicious although I’m not sure my eyes could handle preparing all those onions. One thing I’ve enjoyed about this series is learning about new to me types of pies.
I'm loving the music selection while you make pies. It's very relaxing. Thank you for a lovely month of pies!
I'm in Britain, that cheese and onion pie looked 💗 my sister makes the best one you could eat and eat it till you felt 🧀 ill.
I have never heard of a cheese and onion pie and I am not mad at it-I welcome it and so excited to see the family reactions to it-and I know it’s gonna be good
How funny, over here it's like stable food! Usually combined with 1 other veg' like e.g. leak 🙂 and thus à bit less cheese
Oh my gosh!!! It looks delicious!!!! Thank you 😊.
I love the wall of family photos behind Mike.
I bet bacon would be yummy in this onion tarte! 💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸
Wonderful work Megan..I knew you all would love it , also give it a go as an onion cheese flan using your own lard pastry…..You deserve a pie master medal for so many reasons 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻…TFS🙌

I literally made the gingerbread pie the other day and it was delish!! Can’t wait to try out the other recipes! Thanks Megan!

I always think it’s so sweet when Mike rests his hand in Megan’s shoulder at the end ☺️
This pie was so interesting. I had never heard of it before and probably would have passed over the recipe as I wouldn’t have thought onions would be good. It looks like everyone was surprised but happy to find it so delicious. I have thoroughly enjoyed the pie series. Thank you.
Loved every pie
Really enjoyed the watching
Thank you
I’m definitely giving this a try! Thanks so much for all your pie inspiration 😉
This gives me ideas!!!
It felt so english and magical.
Thank you for doing these!!!! Mmmmm
I almost gave a thumbs down since there is no sad face for it almost being over. I LOVE the pie series so I had to give it a thumbs up. Looked amazing as per the usual. So excited for soup and bread to come!!
I use thin sliced sweet potatoes for the “ crust” and fat free sour cream and eggs in with the onions. Top with crumbled feta after baking.
What a month of pies. Thx Megan but I am not gonna try some but glad u and your family did. They all benefited from the experience.
Here in Georgia we make Vidalia Onion pie. Basically the same recipe but no mustard. They are delicious!! When I take them to church to are a hit also tomatoe pie using Vidalia onions.
Love all the pies and has made me discover my kitchen again!
Keep up the interesting experiences.
Any updates on your forever home?

One of my favourite pies. Thank you for pie month.
I will be giving this pie a try. I had onion bread pudding for the first time at a church Christmas dinner and fell in love. I have a feeling it will be the same with the pie.

The older Esther gets the more she reminds me of her mama 💗

Looks so good!
Going to miss the pies but you said more to come but not pies. Family is going to miss pie month.
Lots of cheese, onions and butter. Yum!
It looks really good! I think I would decrease the amount of onions and add some potatoes in it! 😋
But then it wouldn’t be the same pie.🤣
