    is there a reason it sounds so good when you modulate to E during the E major chord as compared to modulating to the root of other chords in the scale? I know you normally stay in C#

    • @TomoFujitaMusic
      @TomoFujitaMusic  12 днів тому

      I don't think about scales when I am performing. I follow the chord progressions. This song share minor sound & Major sound... so C#-7 is this song's basic key center in the beginning then shifting to key of E Major... The reason this song is so good because minor feel & Major feel in One Short Song. Melody is within One Octave!

    • @seby8030
      @seby8030 9 днів тому

      @@TomoFujitaMusic would you say you're able to follow the chords more because:
      you can follow CAGED style through root notes and arpeggios
      or
      just knowing what notes the chord itself is made of and being able instantly identify those notes within the octave at C#-7?
