In Finland this costs about 37 euros in the liquor store. It's easily the cheapest single malt I've encountered, and it definitely has the best value I've encountered. For its price, it's stellar! Just finished my bottle a few nights ago.
Gonna get this one too as I just tasted Tamnavulin Double cask, batch 0308 and it’s exactly as in your review for that one, love it! Price 30€ where I live and it’s a good whisky for that price.
How do I find this bottle? I really want to explore more tamnavulin other then double cask and sherry! I call her TAMMY! I've seen different expressions in duty free but thanks covid! I'm based in the UK
Is this whisky one that i should buy and taste? Its for 30 € where i live, anyone who have tasted it and can telł how it feels on the nose, in the palate and when you swallow it
Man, the label visible in the left side of the whole video, it easily can be read: three different T Y P E S of sherry cask. I have the same batch number, and the label on the bottle said the same, three types of sherry cask, so not 3 identical casks...
Got a bottle of this for Christmas, I really like it. But I have a sweet tooth, and like sherry. I’ll be buying it again, but I understand why people wouldn’t want to.
This bottle grew on me, but it's definitely not a standout compared to other Speysides and the standard price point in west Europe is a little high (€30). On sale it's a solid buy though. Just wish Tamnavulin wouldn't have gone the NAS way this early in order to make a quick buck. Be a little more patient and launch your big return with something to be very proud of.
I've just tried this, Cardhu Gold Reserve and Highland Park 12. Not three whiskys I would go for but HP was my favourite. Tamnavulin the least I'm afraid.
Beautiful whiskey for the tesco price , smooth and sweet ..not unbalanced for a sherry cask , notes of raisins, juicy orange.. caramel , vanilla ...tangy finish on first taste and toffee on 2nd
i bought it. it has same batch number, so i guess its just a number they put for all the buttle. as for the wisky. its goes very well when you put it inside, lets say black tea (chai). as a whisky tamnavulin whisky are too much sweet for me, so i just add them to my tea.
A very good whiskey a little jong bud very good price en a very good dram always have a bottle in my collection close ofcourse becouse when I open it I always grap this bottle when I poor glass of whisky I gife it 80 points
I'm not an experienced whiskey drinker but the taste was quite nice when in the mouth but the aftertaste and length isn't for me at least, also found some sips to be quite spicier not sure why

Good to know. I’ll buy a bottle today.
Bought it today from alko, 37,99€. Great whisky for that price!
Just got this for 22 quid from Amazon, very good for the price. Bags of flavour, nice finish, what do you want for the money?
I am in Montreal Canada and just picked up a bottle of this, same batch number and what 3 years later? batch 30502
I bought a bottle for 23 euros here in Spain and I love it!

I just got the French cabarnet sauvignon finish - and it has such a raspberry forest vibe 🌳!

I’ve just ordered a bottle from Amazon for £22. Looking forward to trying it out on the weekend.
Excellent review Horst, thank you.

Super agree about NAS

Also the cheapest of the 3. You pretty much ranked them according to cost.
This would be worth a try, if you can find one in the States.
My first taste is this whiskey smells good when first opened but taste like Tennessee Whiskey. I even have to add ice so it’ll not burn.
try also tamnavulin Grenache Wine Cask,it is really good and cheap
Is it in the States?

I'm jealous of the price. Mid 20's in Europe. Probably double that here in the states.
Mid 20's in Germany. 30's in neighbouring countries
@@gianniverschueren870 Nah, I just ordered 3 bottles for 20 euros each online, I'm dutch
It's $49.72 in Australia - so how about that

At 40% ABV, should really be 43% at least.

👍 Great !!
By your expressions it is not a winner. I was just about to buy one. And you did not finish the glass. Dead giveaway.....

It's a cheaper whiskey...and he did take a second sip
