I fabricated a 1 inch spring and mounted it on the plug at the buffet tube hole inside the receiver where the bolt bumps into it before slamming backwards .smooth like butter cycling now ..also DO NOT swap both the extractors the left stays on the left of the bolt and same for the right side extractor it will not cycle properly I found this out the hard way .also I made a flat shim to mount under my front sight to level the sights and used long m-lock screws to mount the shim and the flip up sights . I also removed the bushing inside the front hand guard to better free float the barrel .my accuracy in now amazing..love the videos sir ..a word of advice get out of Canada move to the united states to a free state like here in Alabama ..god bless you sir keep up the good content..love it
Bought my daughter the featherlight. She loves it. Took it to the range today after cleaning it first and lubing it. 200 flawless rounds. The hard part is teaching a 9 year old how to find the fed dot I put on it. 😂
Great lil rifles, I bought 2 as well. My 1st is equipped with bipod scope angled foregrip and muzzle device then my 2nd I did a sbr build with a 10" Dlask barrel magpul foregrip and faux silencer that comes in at exactly 26" closed stock firing position. Fun shooters and easily modified with all the slots just had to cut down the handguard on the sbr.
fun fact, these bolts mostly dont rub against the receivers (it has a brass bushing) but the Standard does. yup it will go thru more than thousands of rounds but how long? who cares, its only a hundred $$$ gun, lol.
the adapter i used was commonly available from aliexpress but todays more common AR adapters is better but required more mod. hopefully in future vid i will try to solve that issue.

thanks for the advise bout the shimming but im not moving. its too late now, im retired. closer to family.

Fun fact , I bought a tm-22 , didn’t lube it nor clean it , went through 1000 rounds no issue , truly a good gun

@ exactly ! Paid $195 for mine and it works like a charm , of course now I lube it but it definitely passes a lot of stress tests for a cheap 22lr!

Where did you get the Handguard? I have the TM22 feather and would love to put a bipod or at the very least a forgrip
@@bustamove7388 both metal handguards came with the rifles. They will not fit your feather.
Which adapter did purchase for the short handguard version? Btw thanks for the washer tip

Does the original stock interchange with a buffer tube or would I need an adapter? Looking into if I could put an M16A2 style stock onto one.
In next couple of months, I'll doing quite a bit of pimping of the TM22. I will try to do all of the series. M16, M4, AR15. It should be interesting.

@kingxdrew2x use original stock but if under 26" then put a flash hider.
