    What’s your opinion on how well the straps adjust? Is it a good range and do they stay adjusted?

      Easy adjustments that stay adjusted! I'm on the shorter side so I can't speak to the tallest person, but I've had no problem with the range and my husband hasn't either, and they look like a good range

    Do you find the straps to be comfortable after carrying it for a long time? I find a lot of diaper bag straps to be too skimpy on padding and sometimes the lack of a sternum strap makes it very uncomfortable.

      I found them to be uncomfortable at first - too stiff - byt once I wore it a few times I’ve found it to be incredibly comfortable as long as I have it set on my back properly. Wore it 6-8 hours during Disney days with no issues

    Do you find that this bag can stand on its own when on the floor/table, or does it tip over because it’s taller and narrow?

      depends on how i've packed it! For flights, I'll sit the really big water bottle (shown around 6 min in the side pocket) inside the top flap area horizontally, and that weighs the top to fall forward, as long as i dont put something crazy bulbous like that and overstuff the bag it 90% of the time stands upright on it's own with no issues of toppling. I haven't unpacked my travel bag from out last trip and i can try to post a video on Instagram today @theconfusedmom of what I mean!

    My issue is the water bottle holder. Some diaper bags it’s too shallow and the bottle slip out. How is the one on this bag? One or two pockets?

      Def not an issue I've had with this! Rewatch at 4:19 to see two different sized water bottle in the pockets - the left one is the size of a stanley and you can see how deep it goes. The right side is slightly smaller, but unless you like fully bend over at the hips where the bag would be completely inverted, forcing gravity to take over, you shouldn't have a problem! I can easily swing on shoulder off and rotate the bag to the front without the water bottle going anywhere.

    Quick question, for how long did you use the Huhu before doing the review?

    • @theconfusedmom
      @theconfusedmom  2 місяці тому +3

      6 months! With many beach trips and two long travels.
      For reference:
      Herschel for about a month before I decided I just hated it - but technically 2 years with like no use lol
      Ergobaby we used for a year until it fell apart on us but we knew we liked it, but didn’t love it by 4-6 months, just didn’t care to get a new one at the time. It was too small for travel, hard to find stuff, the front pocket didn't have a magnetic closure so it just always sagged open. No side pockets for water bottles, etc.
      Storq (fanny pack crossbody style) - I used for about 6 months until I got the Huhu changing wallet; I actually really liked it, but if you saw in the video the Huhu has these little wraps that keep the hanging part of the the unused strap smooth against the bag; the storq has this feature too but it ALWAYS came loose so i’d end up wearing it crossbody with the pull bunched up and loopy over my chest and it drove me crazy. I was SO close to doing a video on that bag but in the end just couldn’t get past that.

      And then the faux leather one’s i mentioned i’ve never had - they never met my gender neutral criteria - just based it off reviews from friends and other moms i’ve talked with at the parks!

      Thank you for the thorough explanation! I’ll think I’ll place an order.
