- Detailing my attempt to get Ocelot working in any mission instead of him being locked to FOB missions.

Man, I wish we could play as The Boss, Solid Snake, Grey Fox, Ocelot and each of them has different animations and stuff. That would be great.

Yeah, I'm really not sure why they locked down his character so much. When the update was first released I had assumed it would be pretty simple to get him working in single player. I was wrong lol.
i bought MGSV for PlayStation, i downloaded a cracked version for PC in order to play with Ocelot at last but, after following every tutorial i still cant play with him, i suposse that the problem is that my game is not original or something, thank you for the tutorial anyway! :D

Not sure. But ironically, it's harder to get Ocelot working in single player missions than it is to spawn stuff to cheat on FOBs.

Thanks! I'm not sure. It depends on how they implemented the dual Tornadoes. As far as I can tell, the dual Tornadoes aren't an individual weapon type, which seems to point towards them being unique to Ocelot. But until we can actually figure out how they're implemented, I can't say for sure.
i don't remember ocelot dual wielding anything, except for a few times in mgs3. afaik he only uses the tornado in 1 mother base cutscene

A few people have tried now. I think there's an issue with the female avatar files causing the game to crash when copied over the male avatar files.

No. FOBs are online only. This mod can be used offline though.

i finally managed to open the tppplayer.lua file using notepad++, but it's showing all strange charaters and no normal english fonts, what should i do?
You need GzsTool to unpack stuff since it decrypts files. You can just install the mod linked in the description if you're wanting to play as Ocelot/Quiet though.
@@splee5556 thanks for the reply! I tried installing that, the mod menu is working fine..but the character doesn't change from snake to quiet/ocelot at all, neither their abilities! So I found this video of yours and tried to go step-by-step...
@@splee5556 I tried to unpack the 00.dat archive with QAR tool, it did open it, but the lua file is showing complete gibberish texts..so I was damn confused and needed you attention. But thanks, now I'll try the Gzs tool and see, thanks a lot for the reply!! ❤️❤️

@@Z4suo You might be able to find a mod for specific characters on Nexus. Otherwise you'd want to look into editing Assets\tpp\motherbase\script\MbmCommonSetting.lua. That's the file the controls staff ranks.
It’s so fucking dumb that they only allow you to play as him in fob mission why can’t you play as him in side missions?

Not unless your PS4 is modded. Even then I don't know the specifics on the PS4's filesystem, or if the modding tools for MGSV are compatible with it.

No. It would require a modded console.
