We jut watched 2 big tennis player playing for and in great atmosphere, One should be winner this time Alcaraz 🏆.It was an CIVILISED atmosphere and event👏👏👏👏👏
This may be the closest thing to a player getting to play his younger self in a fantasy match....yet it's real. The result here is likely how it would go if Nadal did play his younger (20 yr old) self.
Asalamualaykum web.Go Nadal go prove u are still the champ w the young coming to be Carlos...still get Netflix slam 2024.Yes becareful for US slam still it's good to have sthing like this as real Slam takes so much out of older player...no matter how good age is still a factor...that's why Gates Befos need cloning so do Oprah etc.Though Musk and Zuckerberg still early 50s ..
Was a pretty disappointing encounter. Carlos was careful with his ankle, Rafa did not move well to his backhand. Both had quite a few mishits due to the altitude. High number of double faults. About same number of unforced errors vs winners (about 90% ratio, I think it was 15 to 19 for Carlos in the first set and a bit worse for Rada). Sure, it was nice to see Rafa and Carlos play together, but it was hard to learn anything of value from this match. Rafa is better than Carlos at redistributing the game with his forehand, whereas Carlos is more tentative with his own forehand. There were no long high intensity exchanges, but weirdly, also not many amazing shots to admire. I think both Carlos and Rafa were aware that their performance was lacklustre. Oh well, at least they have the altitude trainiing from this Netflix Slam (a bit of a ridiculous title if you ask me, consdering it is not even 3 sets, only 2 plus tie breaker). But hey, if it can bring money in for tennis by making the sport more popular with younger generations, I will forgive.
@@marithanordin920 It is not my fault if Carlos and Rafa take several hundred thousand Eur for a training session with them and get paid so much for this "slam". I don't this this "competition" seriously at all, my point was the opposite, it's all money driven and not serious tennis.
well, it was never meant to be a real match. It's an exhibition. I would be more surprised if they played seriously. Let's just enjoy the fact we got to see them on the court again regardless of their performance
I think they must work harder for a 1M pay off, each. Otherwise, they may just lose respect of their fan base. It did not look they care. One thing is for sure, I am not a fan, any more.
@@Andres-qm1xx this season isn’t over, he’s been averaging 1 slam a year thus far and still made the quarters at the Australian open…everyone is overreacting.
Tennis quality of match was pathetic. So many mistakes and unforced errors. The level of play suggests Nadal is finished as a force and Alcaraz needs to a new coach to help him learn how to play with consistency.
I agree that the level was not good, but it was an altitude match with balls harder to control, and Carlos had instructions to take it slow with his ankle, so he did not play 100%. Was was more annoying was the fact that they called this a slam, it is an insult to Tennis to call a 2 set + tie break match a slam.
How frustrated are you to come here being cranky about a commercially aimed exhibition?? Grow up and get a life. Everyone knows the subtext, your opinions are not a revelation.
His name us Alcaraz and hes not going anywhere. Its not middle of the season, uts tge beginning of the season. Wishing someone to get injured abd retire is you being sick nentally.
That looks good from both. Nice nice and I hope they both keep healthy and fit.
Spain has to be so proud of these two amazing players 🎾
Not pointless at all…Carlos and Rafa were paid in excess of $1 million EACH to have a practice! 😂
Rafa has over £100m in the bank

I was here as well 1 hour ago, the game was unbelievable.
Looks like a nice exho which kinda doubles as a warm up for IW, Rafa looking good
These alternative angles are amazing...make the game so much more interesting
Thanks for posting this!
The match was….decent 😅

What did you film this with? A BlackBerry?
um. he obviously gathered whatever was out there tagged from cellphones. not that hard to figure out dude 🤔
Thanks 4this
exhibition and all, but the serve at 0:56 looked wide right
Tennis is the only sport where people pay to see a match that they could probably see during a regular tournament
I think looking at this, I believe it's possible that Nadal could win the French Open.
Keep dreaming... Nadal’s career over
Netflix Slam....that's peek hubris right there.😅😅😅
what a player rafa
Only aspect left was Rafa serving right handed
Impressionable como la edad no lo para, muy bueno Rafita 💯
Age does stop him he’s been injured 14 months
Great choice of color nf.
Please stop the commentators from talking all the way through. The tennis is the star!
Who won?
Filmed in 2001 on a Nokia
Rafa still a threat !!!

Nadal better be careful... likely to injure himself again playing a pointless exhibition.
They are not going all out.
It’s good practise? Not pointless
You could tell Nadal wasnt playing hard, nor was Alcaraz
Good practice
Nadal is finished he’ll injure himself again it’s inevitable
Is it just me, or all exhibition matches look staged.
serve at :55 was 100% out
love you nadal but commmonn
Agree, that was way out 😂🤣 and he didn't say a thing 🤦♂️
nice paid practice!!
He should be focusing on Indian wells and his health rather than a dumb exhibition match.

This 2 are finished. Nadal is permainjured and Carlos will never come back to his 2022 level.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Might agree with Nadal, he’s definitely on the way out, but with Carlos Cmon? Finished at 20 years old?? lol
