Fun as always! Finished played through my first "adventurer" generation today. He randomised bi, was a poet, lived to 93 [without any hale upgrade] managed to finish a legend [The Arthurian one] to the highest level, seduced more than 10 people (I discovered when the achieve popped when he was about 60) and had (18!) children, including one who was born after he died. I mean... dude. Adventurers are insanely OP with all of that learning. During his time, he founded a hold which was _immediately_ taken from him by the Norse bloke who was attacking Wales (yeah, he didn't need that 640-odd gold it took to build it and didn't have 750 troops to stop it /sigh), and was down in Spain when his "got me 1 year left" call, so I took him back to the hold he made and they had a party and he went fishing before he passed on. Quick mention, now I'm on Gen 2 (she's 75 so don't know how long she'll last) who picked up a "deviant" trait while I wasn't playing her--everywhere you go, you'll be a "fugitive" if you have _any_ of those "criminal" traits, even if they're not criminal to your religion/culture--even if no one has "discovered" the secret (ie, deviant, witch, etc). I tested it on a brand nnew character with the "witch" trait and he was a fugitive the moment he entered the game, so seems to be a bug, has been reported. Bit of a PITA, because you can be unceremoniously thrown out because of it, which cancels contracts, but so far, hasn't been _too_ bad. Heads up, though. I was a bit teary when my lad finally met his maker. I imagine I'll be the same when Geethan leaves the mortal coil, too. :D
Also, every time you land in a city, if you're doing a job for the local lord, you can also ask then--so long as you're both present in the same place (as I found out by accident today. :D )
“Bailiwick” is an area of knowledge that one is an expert in. Geethan’s bailiwick is pretty much everything 😂
Fun as always!
