This only works with my relationship and that is just because I am the Ace in the group so I just benefit from the emotional connection of the relationship not the physical (which is just between the other two) and we are all financially independent from each other.

This was not claimed to be polygamy, it was claimed to be polyamory.
Polygamy is mostly a male driven religious relationship, and the religion sets those kinds of rules.
Polyamory tends to be a love and lust based relationship. It is just as likely to be driven by women as by men, and only has the ad hoc rules the participants agree amongst each other. There have been many very famous and long lasting voluntary polyamorous relationships, such as Lenor Fini and he two “husbands.”
Both versions of relationship are often beset by jealously issues, but the religious based polygamy tends to be more stable, mostly because the male uses religious threats to control the women.
However this guy is wanting to have his cake and eat it too. He is obviously someone who wants to have the sexual benefits of religious polygamy but that is illegal, so he disguises it under polyamory, but that means he can’t control the women.
He also strikes me as the sort of “man” who would avoid supporting even a single “wife”, let alone a second one. I think he probably expects them to look after him. Probably quotes some religious text that suggests that that is how it should be.

I need everyone ever thinking about suing for slander to know that slander is NOT, "They said something that I didn't like." OR "They said something that I didn't want other people to know." If it's an opinion or if it COULD BE TRUE, it's not slander. Slander is when someone makes a false claim about you, for which you could be held liable, with no proof. The "for which she could be held liable" part is key here, because I once saw someone sue for slander because someone went on FB and said they had a weave, but their hair was natural. That's not slander. No one is coming to lock you up or try and take away your kids for having a weave.
