Down a whole tone. DGCFAD. If you want an alternative way to play Falter then you can capo over 5 strings on the second fret leaving the low string open. It’s basically like having a drop-D tuning but with regular chord shapes for things like G. It’s something I’ve used a lot over the years, both in session and solo work. I will say it’s about equal on the difficulty level as the standard way, but a fun alternative. Either way, as far as I recall all Hundred Reasons songs are down a whole step. I hope you have fun trying these songs out in their down tuning.
