My dad was in the Army for most of my childhood so there were several stretches of time where he'd be gone and the house would be so quiet without him. Whenever he was home, he would always practice his acoustic guitar at night after my sister and I had gone to bed, and it lulled me to sleep every single time. Even now as an adult, I go to sleep smiling when I listen to soft acoustic guitar music because it gives me that comfort of 'dad is home safe, the family is complete again, and all is well'.

I wish I could walk away and it would leave me alone, because I want nothing to do with such a screwed up religion that causes so much controversy. I guaranatee your no different to the rest and believe in the theology of contradiction, and that's my problem. This is awesome, thank you for sharing! After working in the music business for 15 years as a producer and engineer, I have a hard time finding music that I can play while studying and not obsess about the production. With your stuff, I am refreshed because the editing and everything is so good, I don't get distracted at all. In fact, it helps me go deeper into my studies. Praise God
You know, if you were to have asked me twenty years ago if I was to ever listen to this type of music, I would have said no. But now this is the best music I've ever heard. I'm a musician and I almost lost two of my fingers in an wood working incident. I had to learn how to play guitar in a different way while my hand was healing and therefore I found out that the way that i was playing was basically a folk style and a new love and appreciation was born. Thank you for the opportunity to discover this wonderful genre.

After 3 years of living in Montana i find myself packing my truck with my things and again setting off for someplace new. It has been a wonderful 3 years of personal growth, adventure and discovery. I just turned 60 years old and more and more I think of the memories of my life. The nostalgia, the places, the people, my family, the ups and downs, the mistakes and successes of my life. No matter how hard I try to keep my mind and body busy the memories take over with a mist of melancholy. Why can't I turn the clock back? For instance, this music I am listening to right now reminds me of driving with my wife and daughter to Cape May, NJ during vacations. We would listen to my CD of Acoustic Alchemy over and over while taking the 2 hour trip. These are my strongest memories and they make me sad knowing that they are gone forever. Just mentioning this brings tears to my eyes as I write this while laying in bed with my dog. It's who I am. I worry about the future more and more and what will happen to my family. But somehow sharing this music with Mister Melancholy is better for me. Does anyone out there share my thoughts and give me coping ideas? I would be grateful. God Bless Y'all. AJ

I just turned 60 years old and more and more I think of the memories of my life. The nostalgia, the places, the people, my family, the ups and downs, the mistakes and successes of my life. No matter how hard I try to keep my mind and body busy the memories take over with a mist of melancholy. Why can't I turn the clock back? For instance, this music I am listening to right now reminds me of driving with my wife and daughter to Cape May, NJ during vacations. We would listen to my CD of Acoustic Alchemy over and over while taking the 2 hour trip. These are my strongest memories and they make me sad knowing that they are gone forever. Just mentioning this brings tears to my eyes as I write this while laying in bed with my dog. It's who I am. I worry about the future more and more and what will happen to my family. But somehow sharing this music with Mister Melancholy is better for me. Does anyone out there share my thoughts and give me coping ideas? I would be grateful. God Bless Y'all.
