Island hopping in Thailand is easy

Today we’re leaving the beautiful island of Koh Phangan and we’re heading to another beautiful beach location - Ao Nang. But in order to get there we’re in for a LONG travel day (thankfully we’re getting used to these now!).
Before coming to Thailand we had only backpacked through Europe, which seemed a lot less daunting than South East Asia. So, just how easy is it to travel SE Asia on the cheap? Join us as we catch an early morning ferry, a coach bus and then a mini bus to reach our final destination.

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! When we started this trip we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. I ended up passing through Krabi and somehow ended up spending my time in Ao nang instead riding there and back on a scooter for a couple of days. Seems you made a better decision ;)

Yes it's such a lovely beachside town! We almost stayed in Krabi but luckily we had a friend who recommended Ao Nang instead so we went with that.

It was definitely worth it! We were initially just going to go to Krabi but our friend recommended Ao Nang so we decided to go there in the end and so glad we did!
