This will be my next 'big purchase, you're vid just confirmed it. I have their Impulse Command and man Analogue Solutions synths always sound incredible... The only thing that could disrupt that plan is if a MegaCity sequencer comes up for sale before I get it.

Quite an interesting sound. Can this generate a drone sound by itself? Or do these kinds of modules always need to be played through another device (midi keyboard, etc)?

It very depends on the capabilities of the module. In this case, you could either use the internal Generator, retrigger the Env via its LFO or make connections like VCO Out->AMP CV IN. So yes - you're able to use this one as drone Generator.

Yeh beringer neutron and moog d leaves this for dead -Anlogue solutions synths sound dull and boring and are a rip off for what you pay 💰

sounds better than overrated (bad 1970's sci-fi movies) moog as far as i'm concerned. very thick and chunky with that wet rubbery *squonk* that sounds classy

Its a 1 man show gf from circuit design type to build and they are also limited amounts made

as mentioned, it's a limited run item, and it would cost twice that amount to build one with eurorack modules. it's also an ANOLOGUE synth... that means a lot of hand wiring and discrete components as opposed to a digitital "synth on a chip". for what it does, it's actually a BARGAIN. eg. not ONE, but THREE oscillators, plus built in sequencers. it sounds pretty chunky too compared to a lot of meh analogues. many music producers more familiar with analogue are lusting over the unit. i'm checking it out as a starter for a modular system to SAVE MONEY.
if you can't wrap your head around the price and don't mind a digital simulation that doesn't sound as fat... go ahead and get some FREE VSTs. they won't sound this good though.
