Fantastic demo. I think this is the best mono synth to come along in a long time. I see it being very successful. Might take me a year, but I'm saving up already.
What a well thought out design, and the sound is just gorgeous. I´m happy that we starting to get machines that can really be played live, with well spaced controls, without crazy menu diving that you got to accomplish with minuscule screens. I hope that in the near future we will assist to a resurgence of interesting live acts that can compete with the Dj sets. The dj figure nowadays is extremely boring and has became too mainstream. I don´t mean that there are no interesting djs, of course there are and always will be necessary, but what has became the standard of the electronic music "live" set must be destroyed IMHO, we need to offer something more in every aspect.
same here and after having the Leipzig v2 and how easy and fun and great their synths play, I really want this or Vostok v2. I cannot afford a Colossus so this or Vostok v2 is best alternative.
Outstanding video, as per your usual standard of high quality. When I have the money, I will buy one. Love the Vostok & Impulse Command... Thanks again for the deeper dive.
Yeah, it's an instrument to fiddle with rather than jump in programming a specific tone. You need to enjoy spending time with it to get the most from it. The polar opposite to preset machines.
man, I have been wanting a Impulse command, and I just bought the Ample a few min ago. So thanks for letting me know that the Ample pattenator is more dope than the Fusebox. But I have a feeling the Fusebox is insane as well. all the vids I watch on it are so great.
@@InFamousProductions their stuff is so great, all of it. The impulse command might be my favorite instrument to jam on ever. It’s so unpredictable and wild and unique. The Fusebox is amazing as well, and I’m sure you’re gonna absolutely love the ample!
@@cougarman8 great to know. I have a few other synths, like the Syntrx, Pro 2, and Matrix brute, which are monosynths and hope this ads something new. I think the patternator is what sold me the most.
@@InFamousProductions every Analogue Solutions really punches differently and harder than any other synths I own... I only have the Vostok and the Impulse Command... But they are far and away the most aggressive oscillators, even compared to like Dreadbox and Moog and whatever... You will definitely love having it
This thing is a thing of beauty, love the mod matrix, just fearing the $ here in my country. I have a few KBs that I am thinking of getting rid of, I can get more than what I paid so that helps getting something more intimate and just less desk space. Thx for the upload!!!
So in comparison with it's older brother the fusebox (x) : it hasn't got the midi sequencer that can be "modulated" by the paternator (on the fusebox)?
Great demo and what a lovely jam at the end 🔥🔥🔥👌 Is this comparable with the Erica Synths Suntrx II or are they uncomparable? Thinking the matrix have similarities perhaps. have the great Leipzig V3 and love it and its fat tones. Would you choose this one or the Syntrx II together with the V3? If you had to choose and why? Best, Mik 👋
I’ve not played with the syntrx but there’s a lot of crossover. The big thing here is the patternator - it’s genius. The big thing on the Erica is the digital matrix. I think it depends in what sort of music you’re making and how you’re recording/playing.
yes, I have this synth and I'm gonna make a vid on it. and ya, it feels like it should have had more voices. when I play it, I hit other notes expecting it to have more voices. it just sounds like it naturally would. UA-cam does not do the sound of it justice. it is unbelievably full in its sound. super huge sound.
it feels like a completely different machine tbh. Although they're both patchable 3 VCO synths, this one feels more like a mono synth with a really interactive sequencer. I think it's more flexible (or experimental) than something like, for example, a Minimoog - the patch bay, ADSR envelopes, ring mod, and sub osc plus the VCO range LFO-supersonic. The 2600 feels more like a mini modular system. It's got more depth in the synth engine, but obviously lacks the sequencer, which is the Ample's USP.
You would turn on all the steps and use the clock in which will move through the steps sequentially and the main pitch input. I’ve just tried it on mine and it’s not tracking well over an octave … so I’ll be in touch with AS to see if this is normal, or if this is an early model that needs a tweak.
thanks STARSKY CARR for hypnotizing me to buy it. I just bought it 30 seconds ago. so I do have a question about that last jam. was it all the Ample or was there a guitar sample . I think everyone one wants to know ! but ya, @analogsolutions #analogsolutions, Starsky MuthaFuggin Carrsky got me to once again, spend money I don't have. my girlfriend is going flip hahah
I love the sound of just about everything Analogue Solutions builds.

Nice demo! I have a Leipzig v3 that does massive bass and kick sounds. This reminds me of mini Colossus without the oscilloscope and price tag.
Brilliant review, I've got one coming tomorrow. To say I'm excited is an understatement.
Brilliant ambient jam and what a great positive vibe from your reviews, as usual. Thanks man!
Nice one Starsky. Really interesting paradigm isn't it!
Looking forward to trying it out .

yay, waited for it ... thank you ! Please do some more techno jams with it....
I agree. I think we really need a proper workout on that filter. Also, we didn't get to hear the echo or noise.
My Fusebox patternator is jealous and insecure looking at this! The impulse command is still feeling confident 😂
Awesome review and machine!!

Tom sure knows how to make fat, alive sounding oscillators. IMHO Analogue Solutions are way underrated.

Hi Great review. This may be a stupid question but where would you send cv and from a sequencer like metropolix into the ample? Thank you
Great Demo! You dish out straight techno with that thing 😂 I also love how it is basically a Model D and a DFAM in one device 👍
Very cool
cheers.

You need to buy Maximus now… expect a full review 😀
I’m in discussions for a loan 😀

Imagine this with parameter locks
If there the same sound from the leipzich on?
No glide again :(
Sorry I meant cv and gate.

@StarskyCarr thank you please let me know what they say.
Hmmm, the Korg 2600 M is more my thing.
Which body parts can I sell for £2k 😂

1 note at a time is ample reason not to buy it at this price
Cheeky … haha very good.
yet another mono synth
