YESSS!!! i was always thought brats dolls were awesome, but my parents thought they were ugly. i had a few handmedown clothes from them and i loved putting their fashion on other dolls
Agreed!! I was never allowed to play with bratz dolls because my mother didn’t like the name but I love the way they were designed. Their makeup and everything! My great grandma got me a horse from their collection that was all glittery! I loved it even though my mother didn’t 😅
My fav has also been Cloe (i think thats her name?)- I wasnt allowed Bratz as my mother was scandalized by their proportions and fashions, but I did watch the movies! I personally enjoy their style and love your take on the doll!

Same, my mom didn’t like the bratz dolls either for the same reason. To be fair tho, I never wanted one of these dolls bc the lips weirded me out (they still do).
It makes me so happy and proud to see creators using techniques and styles from the Black Community in their works! She looks amazing and I think wrapping the wefts around the braid instead of sewing them was a MUCH better technique with the doll scale and design choices in mind. Fantastic work!
What a trial! The final product is gorgeous, and I know it isn't exactly what you had in mind but know she looks fantastic despite the hardship!
I always loved Jade's outfits the most, but this just tops everything! You did a FANTASTIC job! Working through all that frustration really is a testament to your talent and character!

That hair is just gorgeous oh my god.. there's something so beautiful about dark hair with vibrant highlights. The contrast really adds to the theme of the doll

My favorite is Jade because she's my favorite Asian representation from my childhood ever, i really see myself in her even to this day.
Space Angelz Jade is so rare so she's very difficult to find, i heard she was one of the rarest, but i think i like your version a bit more than the original 🥰
Jade was and always will be my favorite. I've always been really into the goth style of clothing and jade was exactly what I wished to grow up to look like when I was younger. Still to this day I dress and try to style my makeup like jade ❤️ I absolutely love this revamp of what jade would look like if u created her. I absolutely love moonlight jewels doll revamp as well.
You're definitely one of my favourite creators and honestly you give me a lot of fashion, make up and hair inspo. Thank you so much for all the time and effort that you put into your work 😊
I know it's probably incredibly frustrating to have some of your projects go wrong, but as a viewer it's so amazing seeing someone so talented fall and get up again, and seeing you show that things don't always go right. I don't customize dolls, but sometimes my other DIY projects crash and burn, so it's great motivation knowing that even people like you can have accidents, and that all you need to do is make a new plan and try again.
Oooh teal and peach, and turquoise and plum are two of my fav colour combos. They look sooooooo good together. The first one give me such a beach, summer, fresh vibes. The seconds gives me a almost a magical, witchy/fairy vibes. I love them so much! 🥰😫💕
Was never a big fan of Bratz dolls until this collab, seeing two of most talented artists recreating a Y2K version was phenomenal. Love them so much 😍😍😍 your Jade feels so different from your usual, yet you can still feel “you” in her faceup. So awesome, and the anchor yarn for the braids is brilliant! Sooo sad about the body breaking, camera, AND sewing machine, so grateful you persevered!! This was so cool! I would love to see more dolls like this - not necessarily Bratz dolls because of their rarity, but maybe some Monster High dolls with this Y2K style? Also the Ashiniko inspiration is killing me !

Sadly I gave all my Bratz collection to a nice next door neighbors daughter for her birthday they couldn't celebrate her b-day since they just moved in so I gave her all my collection
of Bratz since she loves them all. I love both collab dolls.
If the body doesn't work why not try ever after high body since they got more meat and use some sort of puddy to make the shoes fit. Maybe Hextian can help you.
See you on your next Monster-Revamp video, maybe once all the monsters are all revamped maybe we'll get to see Ever After High get Revamped if you want to give them a go.

Lovely as always! To answer the question about favorite Bratz dolls: I never had any. I was a little too old for Bratz (turned 12 in 01), but I still liked dolls at that age. I didn't really see the appeal of Bratz, though, probably because my dolls were vehicles of my own creativity and stories, and the Bratz dolls felt too pigeonholed into their own characters. I also did not (do not) care at all about fashion, which put me outside their target audience anyway, I think.
I did have Bratz dolls growing up, but I agree that I never liked them as much as Barbies exactly because Bratz was so strongly tied to their characters and early 2000s fashion, whereas Barbie felt more versatile in being able to be both a contemporary fashionista and a magical fantasy/fairytale princess with just a clothes change.
even with all the hardships and setbacks you had to endure during this project, i think the doll came out amazingly!! i'm really stoked that you and moonlight jewel did a collab; you're both so talented!!
I know you often get down about your dolls and have mentioned scrapping multiple times in your videos, but I'm so glad that through everything that happened to this doll we still got to see her. Its absolutely beautiful and I think a big statement to the amazing growth you've had as an artist from her intricate hair to the detail work on the clothing. So proud, good job!!! I didn't grow up with Bratz personally, as I grew up with Monster high. But I must say, the dolls are absolutely gorgeous! I own 1 piece of merch from them which is a snowboard I have in my room

My absolute favorite Bratz character was Katia. She originally came out as a holiday doll, but the was later reworked into being the featured character of Bratz Genie Magic, which was the first Bratz movie I saw. I always thought her dolls were so beautiful, but I was among the youth whose parents objected to Bratz, and was thusly never allowed to have one. Nowadays, getting a good quality Katia second hand for a good price, especially for any of her earlier releases is just about impossible, same as a lot of the other secondary characters who only had a few dolls.

i was born in 2004 so i guess i was a bit of a late bratz fan, my mum was more likely to be a bratz fan at the appropriate time, she wouldve been 13 in 2001 (she had me at 16). me and my mum used to watch the bratz movies together when i was about 4 and 5. the rock angelz one was my favourite and i made my mum play it on repeat when i was little. i had some of the dolls too and i really wish i had kept them because now im a fashion addict and love bratz dolls again. ive started collecting them again, i just bought the special addition sweet heart meygan doll and im so excited to receive it :> also my favourite bratz doll is probably jade but also yasmin but i also really like meygan because of her red hair

i felt so sad when i saw the broken joints :'( i honestly think the monster high body worked well as a quick replacement tho! the platform shoes really accentuated her super long hair and made her look like she was levitating - if a human could be costumed like this it would be incredible to see irl

i love this! super relaxing but not boring (a fault of many relaxing videos). it's also given me the push i needed to finally get in to yhe bratz side of custom dolls youtube, previously only watching monster high doll customs.
I loved bratz as a child and I still love them. I actively collect bratz dolls.
I was first introduced to bratz by my cousin, who was a lot older than me so when she was in her teens she gave me and my sister her dolls. Me and my sister didn’t really have many dolls because our family wasn’t very financially stable at the time.

My favourite was always jade for some reason , I feel like they always gave her a more alt style I remember having a punk version of her but I honestly had all of them and loved them all especially when they had the pirate series. Loved your video ☺️
