Been to Brazil multiple times, Sao Paulo, have not made it to Rio yet. Hopefully this next trip in March I will have time to stop by. But I have so much fun in SP I usually forget to go.
I like both Sao Paulo and Rio. They are both so different. You definitely need to visit Rio. I love it there.

it will be taken for sure I had my wallet passport and cell in my front pocket it was stolen by a transvisite whom i tried to avoid at all cost these peeps are professional i was not drunk avoid large crowds if carring anything of value the police are not helpful they are ass holes lucky I was able to get a airline ticket on american airlines via paypal credit and greatful the hotel pc was up and running the real problem was finding the american version of american airlines being on a brazilian web sever is not easy and most of it or any web sources is in pourtoguesse

Great info as always bro..I'll definitely get that extension adapter. I also pack a first aid kit and a small portable safe along with a bicycle cable lock for my luggage. I also bring a few extra plastic ziplock bags to put my phone in when at the beach or if i know it will be raining. On the entertainment side, a mini strobe light and bluetooth speakers :)

On point! I ended up getting andis cordless trimmer, and cordless five star shaver to keep beard clean. So many people rush back home to get a haircut or end up with an Timmy. But barbers are better in Latin America overall from my experience I just don’t like spending time in barbershops

You should always have travelers insurance when traveling, but remember that in Brazil healthcare is free even for foreigners. If you are not feeling well go to a hospital do not wait to go back home, just remember that a hospital is not going to help you by first come first served, they will help the most severe cases first. Safe travels!

What up, I ran into u round Halloween in Rio. I never noticed any mosquitoes while in Brazil I always slept with my windows open too. One thing I would recommend for Rio is a throw away pair of walking sandals, there are millions of dog owners in Rio and there aren’t any pooper scoopers rules. So if u aren’t aware ur gonna b stepping in this isht all day.

i was there in december dec 12-jan4 20202021 was soupose to leave on sunday the 3rd but got rob had to go to us embasy to get an emgergency passport and in good fourturne had to get an airline ticket costing me 1400 via paypal credit

Right now is the low season so i would think the cheapest time to fly would be now but It's more expensive then it has been during the pandemic because airlines have raised their prices
I haven't seen any resorts in Rio but I was not looking. I'm sure there has to be one somewhere away from the city

I disagree with using the ATM 🏧 in a foreign country. Because of the bank charges. I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 for nearly 10 years and the Argentina bank charge 10% fee plus my bank charged an additional 4%. So this came up to 14% total. That means for every 100 dollars exchange you only get 86 dollars. I had no problems in changing money in either Argentina and Brazil. I hate paying bank 🏦 fees.

Well I did I open a Charles Schwab account that's the only bank that I know that doesn't charge a international fee. When I travel I bring back about 200 dollars in foreign money so when I return I have enough to pay for a taxi and enough local money 💰 until I can exchange money. If I need to change banks, what bank do you use to avoid bank fees, but I do agree with you never use the exchange houses at the airport its a total rip off. I visited Rio de Janeiro in December 2019 for a 30 day visit and I had no problems exchanging money at the time it 3.70 real Brazilian and I paid absolutely no bank fees.
