Brought me back to my time in Rio. You captured the spirit of Brazilian people. I also did a favela tour with guide but felt a little awkward that it was like poverty porn. I was mugged there in broad daylight though not in a favela but downtown so watch out. I sure hope that guy can make Aliyah someday but on the other hand I'm sure he would miss Brazil.

You guys should go visit Rabbi Ventura, they’re doing great work with the Anusim. Also, they’re planning on having lots of Brazilians make aliyah they even have a city planned for them called Jazon Aiyn, the Vision. If you want to know more about the New Village in the Negev, they have a UA-cam video telling all about the project. I mean this is Ben Gurion’s dream, to settle the Negev, there’s enough room to double the size of the population of Israel.
And Ido, have you ever been to San Salvador in Central America? There’s an excellent history about the Jews, and how they were saved by the ambassador from El Salvador it’s a very little known story I know about it because I live in Los Angeles, and we have a nice size Salvadoran community here, and, many of them are Jews. I just love it how so many Hispanic people are finding their roots, discovering that they are Jewish and converting. It’s a great little community.
