Yes, salvation is more like the involuntary functions of the body. Whether we eat healthy or not, the body is still functioning. That’s how the grace of God is. It is independent of our actions. No matter what we do, the grace of God never changes, never stops working, it’s always continually pursuing us & upholding us. Diet is 100% dependent on man. Salvation is 100% dependent on God.

@@venture7486 You obviously believed another gospel and don't understand what grace means according to the Bible. You can't save yourself by doing anything. You can only be saved by believing in Jesus Christ who died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. Everything we do AFTER we are saved, we should (not required) to do good works and get rewards from Jesus for the good works we have done. Works don't earn salvation, they earn rewards. Understand the difference and teach the truth. Here is some scripture so hopefully you can further study the Word of God. Do not be deceived from false gospels! 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 KJV every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Romans 4 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Ephesians 2 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Titus 3 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Romans 5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Galations 2 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Romans 10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 11 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 1 Corinthians 15 Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it. 2 You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you-unless you believed for no purpose. 3 For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures
So many false prophets and teachers but this guy makes me ANGRY. Thank you for exposing this guy. Sometimes I think they both intentionally or unintentionally are serving Satan by trying to confuse the truth of the gift of salvation.
These servants of Satan are called ministers of righteousness. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 King James Version 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

We born again Christians would never boast in our works because we know that any good we do is God working in us through the Holy Spirit, being the potter molding the clay. We are his workmanship. To boast in our works would be to take the credit for God's work. We can do nothing without him. It's Christ in us working mightily!
Never ceases to amaze me how many different ways they come up with to illustrate their heresy of, “Jesus Christ’s suffering, shed blood, death and resurrection wasn’t enough to save you. You, a mortal sinner, have the power and must finish the job.”
We are predestined to do good works. That stated.. to believe on Him has a outcome.. you will follow him, " my sheep know my voice and follow me" there is always fruit from faith.
Absolutely correct. People think we think of Eternal security as a license to sin. But real Faith produces fruits in a Believer's life. Sanctification is one of the primary works of the Holy Spirit, Who indwells a person when he or she gets Saved
Excellent clarification. God bless Brother Onorato! May the Lord continue to use you to combat these wrong interpretations that sadly lead people away from the narrow way which is salvation by God's grace alone through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross alone.
Good stuff my friend. The number one thing I run into with soul-winning is that people think you need good works to "prove" that you are "really saved." There is an epidemic in our society of this teaching. I'm glad you are bringing clarity on the issue to so many. God bless.
One of my favorite scriptures has become John 6:28-29. Even though I have to always look to see where it is. It is hard to have been taught this type of stuff all my life, finally learned the truth but have to keep from getting pulled back in. That is why I always think to myself that the will of the Father is to believe on the one that he sent.

Righteousness is not by works, but by faith, lest any should boast. God came to set all for nought, that none should glory in themselves in His presence, but that all should humble themselves before God. Our works are a filthy rag before Him. It was faith that moved God to account Abraham with righteousness, not his works. Before, during and after the Law, it was always FAITH!! @_ChristIsTheTruth We are Justified entirely by the grace of God expressed through Christ's work on the cross and appropriated through faith, but as Christians we are sanctified as we cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He seeks to mature us to conform to the image of Jesus. Sounds easy to me b
I remember this video, it was one of the first Christian videos I ever watched when I first turned to Christ, and it absolutely confused the heck out of me. It made no sense. I was lead to believe that works were really important for salvation by many other content creators, so when this guy said "Jesus cares about your works" yet He lists a bunch of works and still says "depart from me" I was wondering what would ever be good enough? How could I, a mentally ill, socially anxious and agoraphobic recluse EVER be good enough or do enough? Free grace really is the only hope I have. I put my faith in Him and His works alone, absolutely and completely.
I hear what he is saying, but thanks be to God I hear what the Spirit is saying & choose to listen & obey the Spirit instead. The flesh will play all kinds of mind tricks on those who have no ears to hear what the Spirit says. May God have mercy on these people & give them ears to hear.
Beautifully put my Brother in Christ. These false teachers are so successful at winning converts to their false gospel, I think because people don't humble themselves to be saved by grace, they'd rather be the one that saves themselves. (Proud).
Good job brother Ono. It just goes to show how much these ''teachers'' get so messed up when they don't rightly divide the Word. They are sitting ducks for the devil.
Good Job standing up for the truth! @GrowinFaithGrowinChrist thinks his works will save him. He contradicted himself so many times and yet is blind to it. His works will send him to hell. He needs to be avoided. A imperfect human cannot do any work to please a perfect God. Salvation is so simple a little child can understand it.
@TrolsmaboganSpeaks Works do not prove salvation. Trusting in your works to show you "belong" to Christ is a falsehood. Your works should focus on leading people to Jesus and not on you "belonging" to him. Do you believe in Lordship salvation?
I stopped watching Emilio a few years ago when he had a video where he said you can walk away from salvation. A nicest way of saying you can lose salvation
The book of Hebrews was written to warn persecuted Christians against falling away from the faith. If someone denies Jesus and their salvation, and then returns to their old life apart from God, how will they be saved again? It’s definitely impossible to lose your salvation on accident, but it is possible to walk away from your salvation. That’s why Jesus says to endure to the end through trials and tribulation.
Also, I’m not talking about a Christian struggling against sin. We will fall sometimes. The Bible says to confess those sins to God. Even if you deny Jesus Christ, that doesn’t mean you are unsaved. The book of Hebrews is talking about a Christian who quit having faith and returned to their old way of living apart from God.
Jesus demands faith not faithfulness, staying faithful is in fact works salvation, because you must maintain your faith till you die in order to be saved, thats a work, you must do this, you must stay faithful till the end, no matter what comes your way, you must do this, its not what Jesus did, its what you must do and this is literally works salvation, just have faith in Jesus, He never said that you must be faithful to be saved, He said you must have faith and after that it doesnt depend on you at all

Works lies, lies, lies. How can a sinner find mercy in himself and in his (right and perfect) doing? I can never look to myself for answers when it comes to my sin. I am tied to this sinful flesh till the day I die. There is no hope in that, only condemnation and darkness. Thank you, Lord Jesus, it was and to this day still is only You, into eternity, the only hope I have through the gift of the Father's grace to call me to faith alone that I may know that You will someday call me home, to be with you as a son! Blessed be the Lord! Amen. Maranatha!
The choice I made was to admit that I can't swim and I needed someone else to save me from drowning. So, when Jesus reached out to pull me up, I freely accepted. These people would rather drown than admit they can't swim.

I have been watching this guy on and off, and.. at first he seemed pretty good. But then, I recognized he believes in Lordship salvation, which is grace + works. Soo, I'm glad you did a video on this. Matthew 7 seems like a passage that many teachers misunderstand or use to cast doubt on people's justification. It seems like a revivalist thing, because revivalism depends on people repenting of sin constantly. So it's one of those verses that fuels that experience.

I love the irony of this guy saying that faith alone will send you to hell, then illustrates perfectly how faith alone in Jesus Christ is the only thing that will save you by quoting scripture. I hope he one day comes to properly understand the verses he quotes instead of acting like he knows everything.

Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Romans 5
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Galations 2
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Romans 10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 11
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
