@gatzu8599 people who get saved are changed people. They usually start to turn away from sin and move towards holiness. there must be brokenness over sin atleast. If not you're probably not saved but deceived!

This one is big to me because of my own salvation path. When I finally acknowledged Him as Lord and Saviour over my eternal state I know He saved me. Living as a christian for almost 2 decades didn't save me. It wasn't until I placed my faith in Him, and not myself, that I was able to trust Him for salvation. Nothing about that was easy. It would have been easier to simply look at the actions of my life and say that I have fruit and therefore must be saved. God looks on the heart and mine was trusting in the wrong things. My salvation had nothing to do with me, because if it did, I would still be as lost as I ever was. He paid for it fully, and it took way to long for me to figure that out. Awesome video. Keep it up.

People can’t stand that we can REST IN JESUS ALONE. This is the Gospel people. You are resting in what Jesus accomplished, not you.
Yet most people don't do that. Jesus taught that if people are ashamed of Him they are not worthy of Him. How can someone who refuses to deny them self be trusting in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, for Jesus taught very clearly that they not worthy of Him.

God has been revealing this to me over time. Without even realizing it i was very works based but truly understanding the real gospel brings such freedom and lifts that burden off of us. Thank you Jesus. The truth shall set you free. Its hard for our carnal minds to grasp this cuz it dont make sense to the carnal mind but believe in him. Its that simple

“Easy believism” *is* the narrow path. Most people are trying to work for their salvation. Works salvation is the wide road that leads to destruction.
I like this! The reason why the path is narrow and difficult I think sometimes it’s because we make it more difficult than what it needs to be.

But I’ve always been curious as to why those verses never say how long or short road is… Only how narrow the road is towards eternal life. Like… if more people find the road or we help them find the road… then all of us lining up one by one behind each other, waiting to get to the gate with only make the line longer. Thoughts?

"If you're actually saved you will have good works and continually have good works or you never believed. No fruit, no salvation . thanks again brother.

All obedience to the Lord is a form of works.
Faith is trusting in Him, this is what the Father requires from the sinner. We are to be paid for our works just as Jesus taught. But the gift of eternal life is from God and not of our works.
I am amazed that pastors and teachers can still get confused over this? I obey and do works out of my love and desire to serve my Lord. But in no way am I where I need to be or even want to be as His servant. If I had to believe in a certain level of obedience to be assured of my salvation I along with every other Christian would never have any assurance!
Keep the faith in our Lord and serve out of love!

“we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
Obedience is what makes our faith ALIVE for as james says “as the body without the soul is dead so faith without works is dead”
No one is saved by just believing in Christ, demons also believe in Christ, are they saved?
@rlg6728 if that were true you would think Paul would tell the jailer who asked what must we do to be saved, believe in the Lord Jesus AND be completely obedient to Him or you'll lose that salvation. The chastening of the Lord that keeps us sealed with the Spirit of promise and prevents us from being condemned with the world is the destruction of the flesh. 1 corinthians 3:13-17, 5:1-5, 11:30-32 kjv. Anyone who adds works to the gospel in any way, to quote Scripture "tramples the Son of God underfoot" (Heb 10:29) because they make the finished work of Christ simply into a stepping stone, like the first step of a stair that you move on from, where it becomes just a "common thing" instead of the perfect offering once and for all.

Whenever I hear people say “saving faith,” I tell them faith doesn’t save us. God’s grace saves us through faith in Jesus.
Our faith doesn’t have any special power.

@@jedimasterham2 Yep. Followers of Calvinistic Theology tend to use the term "saving faith" a lot, probably because of their view on the unscriptural idea of "Regeneration Precedes Faith".
That's a contradictory statement. If you don't have faith His grace doesn't save you...
There is such a thing as vain faith. Believing in vain. Confessing with the mouth but the heart is far from Him.

Thanks for the teaching - I agree there are plenty of preachers who are misleading people with a Gospel that combines faith and works.
It's dangerous as it's close to the truth.
When Jesus came the first time He did so for Israel and offered them a kingdom which they subsequently rejected.
He told them what was required to be a follower of Him while He was on earth in the flesh - sell everything and follow Him.
That was of course before His crucifixion and the formation of the New Covenant (New Testament).
Salvation is now only possible through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.
Once you accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit will show you the way from there!

Yes sir, many people are confused about their salvation, and why? Because their desire is for salvation and not the Saviour. There would be no confusion whatsoever if one’s desire and love is for the Saviour.

I trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ. I believe in his blood that covers my sins. I hate my sins, but I trust that I am forgiven because of what Jesus Christ did for me, not because of what I do. Knowing that I will sin doesn't give me an excuse to sin. It isn't a free pass. But my faith and trust remains in Jesus' blood. It's all in his blood in fact. Had he not shed his perfect blood, nobody could be saved.

Thanks brother. If salvation was based on what the proponents of Lordship salvation say is required. No one would be saved. They place a yoke on the necks of those that hear them, that they themselves cannot bear.
Huh? If living righteous feels like works to you, then you need to get saved! When you are born again you are given new desires, and it is natural to live righteous. Of course we can't bear it in our own strength, but we don't have to because we have the Holy Spirit. So what sin can't we overcome through the strength of the lord?

All they had to do was look and believe in its cleansing power, and it was so.
First off I totally think every word you’ve said is 100% on point and totally correct. And also were able to articulate it all in an accurate way that defines terms and also distinguishes the correct way to interpret believe and salvation and believing and discipleship.
But I’ve got one genuine question I’ve never heard someone give a stable answer to. Those works truster's who are really trusting in themselves by their ongoing outward fruit bearing, obedience so-called, are NOT solely trusting in the BLOOD ATONEMENT for salvation.
Where is the blood atonement in their proclamation and requirement for salvation?
Either Jesus Christ alone through his blood atonement alone being shed on Calvary's cross and his resurrection on the 3rd day is enough for salvation; or we are all still in our sins without remedy for our sins and utterly hopeless.
Biblical Salvation is in the person of Jesus Christ alone.
He alone PAID for ALL sin.
He said..."It IS FINISHED!" right before He gave up the ghost on Calvary's Cross.
The sin debt has been paid in full! Nothing else needs to be nor can be added to this.
Eh.. Not good enough, says these modern day Pharisees, Judiazers who say that true salvation only comes from obeying the law of God through outward fruit bearing and constant obedience (works) to really be saved.
These people reject the blood atonement ALONE as the only payment for sin.
They profess Christ, but in works deny Him.
They are ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their OWN righteousness, and have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
These folks are no different from any other religion in the world. They proclaim that one must DO and continue to DO in order to be saved.
Jesus said himself in essence, It is DONE! FINISHED! Debt PAID IN FULL!
Trust in Jesus Christ alone according to the scriptures; not in yourself nor even your trusting, but solely on Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
Now that's the truth, unfortunately numerous professing Christians including myself for 3 decades believed works come first unfortunately many are deceived because 3 decades i lived in anxiety and depression because i had it backwards which does not please God, believing Jesus Christ 100% alone for salvation pleases God not works.

I struggle so hard with this, I agree with pretty much everything you say, yet I am such an awful sinner. I've become calloused to my sin and do it so easily. It makes me feel like I'm not really saved because I sin so much. I wish I could just press a button and stop sinning forever. I agree it's not based on works, but it's so hard to believe I'm saved when I sin so much

Salvation = free gift to us , cost Yeshua everything (His life)
Discipleship = costs us everything, costs Yeshua nothing
Believe in Jesus for what He promises which is Eternal Life
If there was ANYTHING we could do, or ANYTHING we could muster to receive salvation, then Our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died in vain. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!
John 6:43-44

Amen 👍, They are trying to get people to do what they don't do to get what they claim to have but don't. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting.
Jesus said "Those who are forgiven much love much. " He also said; "If you love me you will keep my commands...and my command is that you love one another as I have loved you." So, Jesus himself was very clear that true faith will result in change.
Yeah but dont confuse that for your changing is what saves you. We all deserve hell for our sins, even if you lived an absolutely perfect life from now until death it wouldnt be good enough. Trust in Christ my friend.
@@JohnjayMall my friend, do you not believe that everyone who is forgiven of their sins will love Christ and others? And do you not believe that Christ defines loving him as obeying his commands and loving others? This is basic logic, and I have not confused the order in the slightest. My friend trust in Christ, and trust IN HIM to overcome the world! Don't deceive yourself if you have not been born again.
