Is that mono poly thread you use for the bobbin scratchy? Bc, in the past, I’ve used mono thread and it was scratchy. I want my quilts to be soft and cuddly, not scratchy. Also, Jenny Doan said not to try to use it on your bobbin bc it will lead to frustration and create a mess.

Hi Susan, The Mono Poly thread is not scratchy at all it is a lovely fine thread that is really soft. I use it in my bobbin all the time and have never had a problem. you wind the bobbin slowly and only half fill the bobbin, if you fill the bobbin it is to much thread for the machine to cope with and it will effect the tension. I love this thread I use it in every quilt I make. Cheers Pauline

Love your videos. What line of fabric is used in this quilt? Thanks so much.

We used fabrics from my stash , some of the fabrics are quite old and some are newer. The light background fabrics are all different shades and small prints. So glad you enjoyed the video and that you like the quilt. Thank you so much.

@@PQWQuilting you are so very welcome. I will be watching your other videos soon. It is 2:30 am here in the US. I should be asleep, but you have me inspired. Now, I just want to go sew something! God Bless, Melody
