Thanks Joel! I liked your awning and happy to hear about some new providers and ideas. We have loved our CTC 6x10 Kidogo (sleeps 4) and how it opens up camping options for us on Vancouver Island. Good to see other OVRLNDRs recognizing the place for CTC’s in the mix of jeeps and trucks.
We were just in Ontario (eastern road trip) - sorry we missed this event. We were in a rental so brought a very compact set of our gear to camp but thankful our gazelle OVRLND flew on the plane well there and back.👌
Probably the best presentation of Overland I've viewed. It's more oriented towards my style of a "little further out" as I H&F. ( figure out where my money goes, eh?) Never saw the cargo build before but have Cheapers Jeepers...I was researching heater box builds/configurations. I follow a couple Rules, how am I going to use it and how am I going to performs maintenance on it. Add Space details...takes up a lot of thinking room. So all the little details and ideas others have are a HUGE help and Inspiration. I may actually pull the trigger on a cargo trailer this winter.
Hey Joel, Amazing job on the video!!! It was great to meet you at the event and see your ChuckBox Trailer first hand. You implemented a lot of brilliant ideas. Cheers.
hey man, just working my way through watching all your build videos on this trailer here. Just starting some research for my own first build (6X12). Your videos are really helping me out. Nice job. looks like its working out great. hope it serves you well on your trips. Cant wait to keep watching
I'd never really heard of Canbat until I saw your videos. I'm getting ready to do a cargo trailer build and will definitely have to give them a call. I've used other lipoe4 batteries and always worry about the temps. These sound great.
Canbat is honestly the way to go, and I know, I sound a bit bias because I get a commission from them, but I would still recommend them even if I wasn't affiliated with the company. Highly reputable and amazing technical support. Thanks for watching. Your support is truly appreciated;
Love the awning! I love this project. We have a travel trailer we camp with but I have a cargo trailer that I used to use for my business I want to convert to a party/tailgate rig. I want to get one of these awnings for it when I tackle this project. I wonder, could you have mounted it a bit more forward so that the back awning would be over the door opening to help a bit more in case of rain? Are they rain-rated if you tie them down? Nice video, love the whole vibe of this event.
Cool vid man - I stumbled upon your canoe videos last week or so but funny enough was also at Overland NTH. Only for the Friday sadly but I'm sure we'll run into each other!
Yeah that's the product he used! I'm not entirely sure of the technical term of the product but they are quite robust. We've used it before for skis on our ice shack.
You’re a beauty Joel!
Cheers! Thanks for having us out.

Definitely! I think CTCs are very relevant in the world of overlanding. The trailer got a lot of attention. Thanks for watching!
