I’m learning how to camp in the BLM land because we just lost our home due to the flooding in California so now we’re going to start being BLM hoppers that’s what I’ve been calling us maybe it’s gonna be difficult. My mom is 85 years old cancer so I’m trying to make everything as comfortable and safe as possible for her i’m scared, but excited for new aventures. She is too. She just turned 85 yesterday ❤
I agree, I was impressed when watching you interact with Lefty, it is plane to see he is well taken care of. Lefty show his appreciation by being a well behaved dog listens to his master. Like you said you are there for each other. There is something very special about the love of a dog that is just that special that it hard to put in words to do it justice. I am so happy for you, the real deal, you got it going on. I am happy your sharing your adventure with us, thank you.
Jeff has certanily incorporated some great thrifty ideas into his build, which gave me some inspiration! Lefty just cracks me up. Good to know that if our paths ever cross you would welcome my greeting👍Thanks for another great video and thank Jeff for sharing. Take care!
Benefit of the doubt until I know for sure. I've arrived at dark and I'm grateful I know where I'm going because you are absolutely right. Once you get a mile in its no different than 50 miles in. That is how people get lost in the desert, doing what that person is doing.
Spent a a night in an old mining BLM cabin in Death Valley with my son age 15. Two guys in an old Bronco drove up trying to find the road over the pass and said they had a slow flat working. 0300. Wrong time of night to be navigating but what ever. Gun in back pocket, son covering me from the cabin I helped them with my tire pump. They decided to sleep in the car (smart!) until sunup then left. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
Interesting to see how Jeff has built his set up for his needs. If people are creative and industrious, it can be done. Lefty makes me laugh every time. I don' t think I've ever seen a dog as talkative as he is, not even my pugs! I hope you all have a good winter this year. It's been below normal temps at my house since it started snowing at the end of October!
Lefty is a great companion, entertainer, beautiful dog. He's very lucky living the life. I am happy for the both of you, wow !!!, freedom. I am a bit envious. You have everything a man, woman could ever want, need to be happy. First time of coming across your video. Thanks for sharing.
Your dog is a Hoot! Get used to the Dope Heads who live or camp near you nationwide. If I'm not with a few of my friends and camping alone I prefer to be alone. Riding up on me is a really bad idea but some people feel entitled to disturb others in the middle of the night or early morning with loud obnoxious vehicles and no muffler driving like idiots. I never had any trouble until the last time at Slab City, 2017. The "Lows" section is where most outsiders camp in winter. I won't cause any trouble but this jerk on a junk dirt bike woke us all up just as the sun was rising and driving around everyone's camp, tent, van, etc. and repeatedly revving the engine and spraying sand. The next morning he was at it again and I jumped out, "Hey Man! Why are you doing this?" He laughed and said, "Because I live here and you don't and I do what I want!" And, he drove off. In the evening we went to the Ponderosa and enjoyed a few drinks and that motorcycle was in the parking lot. As the night wore on and most of the crowd was drunk and playing music we decided to leave. My friend got some pliers out of his truck and snipped a few wires under the gas tank and the next few mornings we got to sleep as late as we wanted.
You're are 90 minutes away from where I live I would love to treat you, Jeff , Lefty and Bear for lunch. I have two three day weekends coming up for Christmas and New years. Let me know it would be an honor to meet you all
Lefty is telling you he wants a belly rub! He is just so sweet. I had a pitbull who lived to be 15 years old. Her name was Sadie. She talked all the time she would play with kittens or dogs or anything so sweet. Lefty reminds me so much of her, she was white like lefty and had a tan spot around her left eye and just on the tip of her butt just adorable. We called her pig puppy because she was so fat when we got her at five weeks old her belly rub the ground and her legs weren’t long enough to keep it up! Broke my heart when she passed she slept curled up on my lap most of the time she was about 80 pounds between 70 and 80. Are used to put sunglasses on her and a hat and I drive down the road in my Mustang convertible and she just looked at everybody and it was almost like she smiled at every passer by… I’m hoping to get out there and see all you guys some day. Trying to get all my finances in order and sell my house.
Wow. People can be very creative with their set ups! OMG, Lefty made me chuckle. Too funny. The only reason I'd be driving that late is if it's an emergency. Otherwise, forget about it.
Lol my dog used to do that all the time.....sneeze and talk, and even sleep laying across my legs. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep 1 year ago today. He had cancer and he let me know it was time in his own unique way.
Good Morning, You should pick up a set of night vision glasses. I have a set that I bring with me camping Not as sophisticated as the ones I used in the Middle East But they work pretty well. It's nice to be able to see what's out there when it's dark. Stay safe my friend 🇺🇲
Howdy Dave, I see you, and Lefty are finally at Quartzite, and all set up. Both of the Ambulances that I told you about a while back have been sold, but I have since found a really sweet Rig that I am currently making weekly payments on until it is paid off in full. It is a 1991 Fleetwood Flair 22 foot Class A Motorhome that is fully Self Contained with a full kitchen, Bathroom, with Shower, and Bedroom. It only has 18,000 original miles on it, and it has a 4000 Watt Onan Generator that only has either 75 or 79 hours on it. The rig is powered by a Ford 460 Gas Engine. The Total price was $2500.00. So far, I have made $600.00 in weekly payments, and have $1900.00 more to pay, and then it will become mine officially. It needs the roof resealed, and a Power Steering Belt and wiper blades need replacing, and it also needs a really good cleaning. It sleeps a total of 6 people on a drop down bed above the Driver area, the Dinette that drops down into a bed, and the big bed in the rear of the Coach. I feel like I found a really good deal that just needs a little bit of TLC.
When the temperature starts getting warmer in the white mountains Show Low area your more than welcome to camp on my property. I have 2 acres and there's a spot fir you on the southforty. I don't have widowmaker trees but there are juniper. I have a few dogs of my own. 7 to be exact. Plus a few chickens and two turkeys. Well have a great day down in Quartzsite. I have a nieghbor thats also a youtuber boon docker that bought land until prices get lower. His name is Kevin. Great person. Well TTFN and hope to hear something.
Coyotes will howl like that to lure your pet out to eat them. If you weren't there and your dog wasn't restrained, he'd have your dog. It happens all the time up here in Alaska. Our friends little dog was drug off, and there wasn't anything they could do to stop it. Keep Lefty safe, keep yourself safe.
Oh my goodness! Your dog is a trip!! When you said what was your malfunction, I started cracking up. Great video and you be careful out there in all that bad weather.
Great travel itinerary for the weather if you like cold. Quartzite is here !!! Big temp change. Sunglife is for me. Way to go with your Good Samaritan for that woman. That feeling you had is this..."there's more happiness in giving than receiving ".
You appeared on my sidebar the other night so I clicked on one of your videos and really enjoyed it. I must say Lefty is a unique and very expressive doggie. I have wanted to go to Quartzsite for some time now. It is good to know that you are open to meeting some of your followers. Many are not, one gal wants you to join her Facebook group and include a picture before she will agree to invite you to a meetup...so thank you, but no thank you, I am not even on social media. Happy New Year's to you and Lefty!
Thank you for deciding to click on our video! Lefty is the real star, I just hold the cameras I guess :))) If you get down to Quartzsite, send me a message and we'll set up a meet time to stop and say hi!
When I was still working, I would get off work about midnight, and I could hear the coyotes barking as I walked home. Sometimes it sounded like they were fighting, or maybe fighting with the raccoons.
As a nomad woman, I just couldn't feel safe in Quartzsite. So I went to Fountain Of Youth Spa and RV park near the north shore of the Salton Sea. Not only very safe, but so many activities, recreational facilities, cafe and convenience store. Dog parks too. Check it out on utube, internet of fb. Love it here, and warmer than Quartzite!
People get lost in the Desert driving around at night all the time...I worked the Sonoran Desert South of I-8 and we used to run into folks who were lost all the time.... It's not as bad these days with Phones that map you out but no phone service your lost..... Those Coyotes sounded just a wee bit close for me, especially with a Dog.... A very interesting dog .... Thank You.... Merry Christmas
Thanks again for a fun video! It makes me miss Jeff, and bear!😢 Jeff is pretty quiet, unless he’s got something to say! Then you can’t shut him up!😂 you couldn’t ask for a better guy! Lefty makes me laugh every time! We have them coyotes here in NY, too. Bear was friendly with the group of doe, all summer. The deer weren’t afraid of him either! Stay safe, all of you!!!❤
It can be hard to find your way out in the day time. We have camped out there for several years sometimes in a Rv and many times in our roof top tent trailer my husband built. In the rtop tent trailer it's not easy when wind is bad, there is no where to get away from it. This year we will bring our RV. Happy Trails 👣
We got lost in the evening returning from an event at the Lit Cactus; it wasn't nearly that late, but, even at 8 or 9 pm, we had a time finding the paved road. We used the GPS, but, that had us nearly in a deep wash if we hadn't been driving so slow. Scary dark there.
Lefty just cracks me up - he's such a goof ball. I have a friend who's dog Spud could be Lefty's twin brother, and he's pretty talkative too. Lefty says, dad, don't you worry about those coyotes, I'll keep you safe.
I hope you and Lefty have a great Christmas! Look forward to your videos next year! I’m glad your daughter is doing good. Have a great Holidays Dave & Lefty!🎄🎅🏻🙏🙏🦮
My German Shepherd OZ loved this video. He was twisting his head back and forth while Lucky wallered on his hammock and then the coyotes. He paid very close attention this time. I wish I had him out there already.
It's probably drunk kids from town out harassing everybody. There's not much to do there, I know I lived there for awhile. And there are some strange characters. I'm glad they left everyone alone except for the annoyance of disturbing the peace. I love it when Lefty is snoring like my Bowser. Hope the car doesn't come back. 🎄🐾🎅
This will probably (PROBABLY?) date me, but that shot of Lefty at 4:55 reminded me of the larger-than-life statue of Nipper that sat outside the Radio/TV store in my hometown in the early sixties. Who is Nipper, you ask? He is the Terrier that had his head in the Victrola's horn that advertised for the RCA-Victor company. Lefty unknowingly brought up a fond childhood memory. Safe travels for the both of you.
Looks like lefty stole the show on the second half of your video😂 I don’t know what that was that he was doing, but it was so cute and made me laugh big time ! Those coyotes did sound close and left. He wasn’t having it. He want it inside smart dog.
I love Lefty❣ My 14 year young pup & I spent 101 days tent camping in La Posa South LTVA last winter (2021-22). We were on a main road to be near a vault toilet, as required. I was amazed at how many cars were driving by VERY early in the morning. I asked someone about it & they said that a lot of people "live" in the LTVAs, but are working in Quartzsite or Parker. After learning that, I paid more attention to the timing & it made sense. Cars were driving by at almost the same time every day, presumably heading to work. I'm guessing someone got off their "path" near you & was struggling to get back on track. Hopefully, it was a one time thing. Stay safe! 🐾🏕🐾
Jeez, Lefty makes me chuckle so much when he vocalizes. He is hilarious. I'm sure you agree.
ACTUALLY…NO…this was another man …COMPLAINING…. 😮😑
Lefty steals the show! What a cutie. Probably a drunk driving around looking for their campsite.

This dog is just absolutely precious 💕. Thank you for taking such good care of him..
Thank you - he takes good care of me too :)
I agree, I was impressed when watching you interact with Lefty, it is plane to see he is well taken care of. Lefty show his appreciation by being a well behaved dog listens to his master. Glad to see Jeff is real and not a ghost. Don't be shy.
Lol me to no ghosty there but a real live person.
Lefty in his outdoor seat having fun was just too cute 🥰🥰🥰
That was fascinating to me, so funny!
It's a dog's life ;~)
Jeff seems to be a man of few words but pretty clever how he set up his rig. Simple but functional engineering. 👍
When I was in Quartzsite, I set my campsite as "HOME" on my GPS. It was VERY helpful to just hit home on the GPS if I was driving after dark.
Good advice. I ended up doing the same thing.
I always get a kick out of Lefty when he's on his back. So funny. He's sure talkative and has a great personality.
Lefty is truly a character lol and so vocal.
That Lefty is hilarious! LoL....I'm hooked as a new subscriber.
Thank you for joining us :)
Jeff has certanily incorporated some great thrifty ideas into his build, which gave me some inspiration! Lefty just cracks me up. Good to know that if our paths ever cross you would welcome my greeting👍Thanks for another great video and thank Jeff for sharing. Take care!
I’m amazed and impressed how much stuff Jeff has neatly and efficiently packed in his rig.
Benefit of the doubt until I know for sure. I've arrived at dark and I'm grateful I know where I'm going because you are absolutely right. Once you get a mile in its no different than 50 miles in. That is how people get lost in the desert, doing what that person is doing.
Living the good life
This video got my dog’s attention a few times. 🌭😎
Lefty is so funny to watch, I could watch him for hours. Lol

Jeff has a pretty cool set up!!! I love it when Lefty responds to you 🤣🤣 I swear Lefty needs his own UA-cam channel. He's a character 🤣🤣
Lefty is so cute when he is talking to you!😊

That's one way!
The clip of Lefty on his outdoor bed is adorable!
I love it when Lefty fusses at his human while lying in a comphy bed.
Thanks for the video David and of course Lefty
🌴... Tnxs for sharing... 💚

My cat hears your coyotes and started growling.
Thank you, Jeff :~)

Lefty you are our bestie!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁
Some people have no consideration for others. Jeff has got his setup figured out 👍 go Jeff!
oh the ending with Lefty in his cot is pretty darn cute!!
Your friend Jeff is very creative...proves if you really want something you will find a way.
Lefty makes me smile and today I really needed to smile
Neat setup Jeff!!
Wow! You're pumping out the videos lately and I'm here for it!
Lol my dog used to do that all the time.....sneeze and talk, and even sleep laying across my legs. Unfortunately we had to put him to sleep 1 year ago today. He had cancer and he let me know it was time in his own unique way.
That was a very pretty sunrise, TY
That's cool how Jeff sets up his rig. I've always been curious. Thanks.
Good Morning, You should pick up a set of night vision glasses.
I have a set that I bring with me camping Not as sophisticated as the ones I used in the Middle East But they work pretty well. It's nice to be able to see what's out there when it's dark.
Stay safe my friend 🇺🇲
Hope the weather holds up and you and Lefty have some good days ahead take care.
Very clever Jeff, it is not fancy but it works well !
Wow....that's so good

Good for you! Projects are a good way to get familiar with it :)
That's an interesting set-up that Jeff has. I don't think I could live like that, but it IS interesting.
Lefty seems like he is a VERY happy dog‼️ Happy & Safe Travels😃
Jeff has an interesting rig there..cool to see him setting it up 👍
Lefty cracks me up with all his vocalizing. Such a great dog.
Actually the coyotes bark and whining as if injured is to lure dogs to them so they can attack. Careful there
When the temperature starts getting warmer in the white mountains Show Low area your more than welcome to camp on my property. I have 2 acres and there's a spot fir you on the southforty. I don't have widowmaker trees but there are juniper. I have a few dogs of my own. 7 to be exact. Plus a few chickens and two turkeys. Well have a great day down in Quartzsite. Love your dogs antics

I love Lefty l think you have a good friend in lucky and he is alert n protective...✝️☮️☪️💟
Oh my goodness! Your dog is a trip!! When you said what was your malfunction, I started cracking up. Great video and you be careful out there in all that bad weather.
Lefty stole the show😆
Great travel itinerary for the weather if you like cold. Quartzite is here !!! Big temp change. Sunglife is for me.
Way to go with your Good Samaritan for that woman. That feeling you had is this..."there's more happiness in giving than receiving ".
after a rain its even harder to find your way
Omg your dog is Adorable!! Thanks for sharing. Loved the moon. ❄️☃️
You appeared on my sidebar the other night so I clicked on one of your videos and really enjoyed it. I must say Lefty is a unique and very expressive doggie.

@@TheCampulanceMan Thank you, but it will not be until 2024 or 2025 when I will finally be able to make my dream come true and go to Quartzsite.
Once Again lefty steals the show 😁just Awesome !!!
Jeff's setup is really nice.i really like the awnings and the hinged shelves.
Your dog has such character! He cracks me up
Picking up my ambulance, Wednesday.
I'm always glad to have my big white pitty with me, also.
Lefty is driving him crazy right now.😆
If he's like Lefty, he's half crazy already :)))
@@TheCampulanceMan true story.
Usually only when we get a knock though.
Have to remark what a beautiful and sweet dog Lefty is. He is a great dog!
Hit the 'like' button this time, before I even started watching so I wouldn't forget. 🤣👊💪
Thanks for that!!! It helps us get seen :)
When I was still working, I would get off work about midnight, and I could hear the coyotes barking as I walked home. Sometimes it sounded like they were fighting, or maybe fighting with the raccoons.
Those intruders must have fell victim to using Google GPS road mapping...LOL! Nothing beats a Garmin....
The authorities eventually find the rusted hulk of their lost vehicle, with bleach-white bones, one occupant with hands still on the wheel. ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶
Lefty is a beautiful pup. I wish I still had my pup. He was a tiger stripe brindle pitbull mixed with Chow and Labrador.
I love that 'lil fella.
As a nomad woman, I just couldn't feel safe in Quartzsite. So I went to Fountain Of Youth Spa and RV park near the north shore of the Salton Sea. It can be hard to find your way out in the day time. We have camped out there for several years sometimes in a Rv and many times in our roof top tent trailer my husband built. It's happened to a lot of people- it can get very dark out here and every bush looks the same!
Lefty is so funny!
Lefty just cracks me up - he's such a goof ball. I have a friend who's dog Spud could be Lefty's twin brother, and he's pretty talkative too. Lefty says, dad, don't you worry about those coyotes, I'll keep you safe.

Jeff is a man of few words!
Cute Lefty enjoyed the out-and-about and the quiet.
My German Shepherd OZ loved this video. He was twisting his head back and forth while Lucky wallered on his hammock and then the coyotes. He paid very close attention this time.
I wish I had him out there already.
Lefty's fan club!
It was for like 30 minutes they were ripping all over. We looked at their tracks in the morning and they were all over the place!
No dissing Dodges! Love my '99 1/2ton hope to be doing some of the same things you are doing some day.
It's all in fun... I had an '02 ram 4 door, new, that i kept for 14 years. I loved that truck :)
This will probably (PROBABLY?) date me, but that shot of Lefty at 4:55 reminded me of the larger-than-life statue of Nipper that sat outside the Radio/TV store in my hometown in the early sixties. I remember that pup - with his head tilted :)
Lefty is quite the character.
Sorry someone was disturbing you last night . That can be weird!
Lefty is a hoot
OMG. Lefty had me in tears. Just when you thought he was done, he starts up again. Hopefully no more of those inconsiderate ones .
He pauses to think of his next statement...
I would love some warmer weather. It's been in the very low 20's° this week and no higher than 45° in the day time.
Yeah, I've been lost in the dark too. If you haven't been, just keep poking around places like this and sometime, darkness will catch you too.
Your dog sure has one heck of a personality on him what a funny dog.
Lefty is such a character - just adorable.
Looks like lefty stole the show on the second half of your video😂
I don’t know what that was that he was doing, but it was so cute and made me laugh big time !
Those coyotes did sound close and left. He wasn’t having it. He want it inside smart dog.
I love your dog.
I love Lefty❣
My 14 year young pup & I spent 101 days tent camping in La Posa South LTVA last winter (2021-22).
Stay safe! 🐾🏕🐾
They were driving really aggressive, which was even stranger!
