It appears that life is good in Quartzite. I hope it stays that way. Sorry I can't be there. You and Jeff deserve some relaxation after all that travel, Take care and bless you for helping everyone. Give Lefty a treat for me.
Yikes, I had piriformis syndrome when my office (and the world) went into lockdown. I was trying to work and do computer stuff at my kitchen table, bad ergonomic setup, and doing so much less walking because I wasn't in my office building or going out for lunch, etc. I found ibuprofen and a few yoga poses got me through it, but it was SO painful. So a big thank you shout-out to the person that helped you!
Looks like a great group of friends enjoying each other’s company. It’s nice that you are willing to offer advice and assistance. We should all strive to attain that same level of happiness.
Dude I went to QUARTZSITE once, it was so crowded kinda like NY just saying, really dirty so we hang around Yuma and just in side California, hey good to see you again lifty
You always end up upgrading your battery (to lithium) then your solar. If I was to giving any advice to someone starting off it would be to start off big as you always end up upgrading this! Thanks for your kind words at the beginning. Started out watching UA-cam clips a couple of years ago and fell down a couple of rabbit holes but now I watch people like you, a family that lives on a yacht, a couple that sails the attic circle and ski, a bloke who metal detects in West Virginia, Opal cutters...it really is a diverse world!
Is the couple on a yacht the Wynns? They started out in a van. Stopped watching the travel genre for a couple years and left them off in a bus. How life changes.
Thanks for that sunrise video I sure miss the sunrises and sunsets in the desert with my husband. Now I’m in Florida so I don’t see too much to the trees
I love watching your video.. Lefty is sooooooo cute. I'm still living in my Jayco 24ft silver line van.. So thanks from Australia. Thanks for all the great video's.
So great to see you and Lefty helping others and in doing so the unintended consequence is an expanded family and friends network. (Sounds kind of like a cell phone ad, oops). You promote good will wherever you go and it certainly seems to have come back to you in spades. I love watching you feed the 2 buddies their treats. Bear totally understood you when you said all done but Lefty hung in there hoping for more. I bet you could open a Fix-it shop right there in Quartzsite but your kind heart would not allow you to benefit from it, but for you I think the joy is in the helping and that IS the benefit. So sad we don't see more of it today. To you, Lefty, Jeff and Bear, safe travels and look forward to seeing you again real soon...
You're right, my shop would go under because I'd keep saying "oh I can do that for you real quick / for nothing). I enjoy helping folks with things that I know how to do :)
It's great that you all look out for and assist each other in times of need and also the day to day. How's the insect situation in Quartzsite? The weather seems really pleasant (minus the downpour). Give Lefty a scritch behind his floppy ears for me.
Hi David, That is so nice that you have a kind soul and help people that need it. We are drowning in rain here in CA so quartzite looks really inviting. Lefty looks really relaxed there. Have a great day😊
Thank you Bill. Without all of the folks visiting, we wouldn't be able to hear back stories, experiences, see great rigs, etc. I feel fortunate to be able to meet so many travelers and viewers - and Lefty gets a lot of lovin from them!
I’ve been watching for quite some time now, always impressed with how articulate you are. I have enjoyed your adventures, getting to know you and your 19:48 super dog lefty. Thank you.
Yeah, I'd be the guy doing installs and re-wiring people too. That switchboard in Pam's campulance looks great. I want something similar, but I doubt she's got that many circuits in operation. I want to do a full switchboard system with 12V, 5V buck converter, site/inverter switching, solar/mains charge switching, fuses on everything etc. I'm hoping to build the camper this year but it does depend on a lot of things.

I am living my travels through you and Lefty this year. Hopefully we will get out there this next winter. I'm rig ready, gas short... It is God's purpose for us played out as he intended it to be. Once you experience it, it's hard to live without it.
David; you might want to look into the RigRunner series products from West Mountain Radio for distributing 12 volt power to various appliances. The amateur radio community has used these for many years. They're more uniform and provide a much more reliable connection than the "standard" 12 volt, cigar lighter socket.
Hi you two. I have been watching your channel for awhile...(A 4x4 Ambulance has been a dream of mine for special reasons). I like how you break down everything that your doing...(Not that I am still not absolutely still confused....lol)...Yet, you mentioned in this vlog that you have done tours of other vechicles....never seen any of those...will have to back and look.
Hey Dave, wow what a beautiful sunrise. That was beautiful. That’s one thing about living in Arizona I’ve seen thousands of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There’s nothing like the smell the desert after it rains. I love living in Phoenix. I just don’t like this summers. But in your case you can just leave and go someplace cooler.
Yes, we don't get the same sunrises and sunsets in NY - mostly because the horizon is blocked and we don't get to see far off in the distance like we do here in AZ :)
@@TheCampulanceMan that makes total sense. Hey, I can’t recall on your channel but do you have a drone? Do you ever put up any drone footage? I’m still in the process of watching all your older videos. I have my part 107 certificate, so if there’s any questions I can answer for you about drones I’ll be happy to. I was also an instructor for DARTdrones for a while, which is a nationwide company.
@@joeglennaz Thanks Joe. I have a bad story about my life with drones... I will share it one of these days in a video, but I'll share it with you. A company sent me a drone - the Ruko F11GIM2. I was in the process of learning to use it and then it disappeared. It is either somewhere back in NY at mom's house, but I've had mom and my daughter look all over the house for it (it was in its hard case) and they never found it. So, either it was stolen from my rig somehow, I left it somewhere (but I never had it out until I went to take it out for the first time and it was nowhere to be found in my rig), or it was stolen from my rig when it was in the shop for the rear end repair. So, I am droneless and I can't lay out that kind of money and I haven't been able to find another company willing to send me one... So the drone topic is a sore spot for me right now :(
@@TheCampulanceMan oh wow I’m sorry to hear that. I want to know if you do decide to get one I would recommend considering the brand call DJI. There’s another drones made in America. It’s a little blue one and it’s really good at obstacle avoidance but he doesn’t have near the range as a DJI drones I think an all-around good drone would be the DJI air 2S it’s just a great all-around drone. Not too big not too small. Can handle a lot of wind. has about a 7 mile range not that you would ever fly that far has so many automated modes that make film making easy. Anyway sorry to hear about that story. You know one other thing I watched your video recently we talked about how much it meant to you when people send you stuff and come visit you and how different that is in your past life. I can understand that in a way because I work from home and I live alone with my dog so I’m by myself a lot, but even so there’s some kind of connection through these videos. Like I feel like you’re a friend of mine and I know it’s only one way because you don’t even know me but me knowing your personality and how you are you’re the kind of person I would like to be friends with, so I think that’s resonating with lots of other people as well, and as for many problems as technology brings us especially social media. It has some great aspects as well like this, and being able to connect with people from the old days that we probably never would’ve never seen again.
@@joeglennaz Thank you Joe for your comment. I spend a lot of time talking to a black box but, after doing it for so long, I feel like I'm talking to all of you. I have so much footage that I never use where I am just talking and talking and talking about whatever is on my mind and suddenly I realize I've got 30+ minutes of rambling. Most of that never gets used... but it's the same way that I would be talking with folks that are sitting around with me... I am just afraid that I would drive people away if I actually posted those video clips :/ Choosing a drone always takes me down a rabbit hole. I know of DJI (I have a DJI camera) and I know they make high-quality gear, but even they offer so many choices that I end up with a spinny head trying to figure out which one would be the right one for me. I have some 'MUST DO' features: Follow me (for following me on my dirt bike) and the circle object (whatever that is called) - where the drone does a 360* around a fixed object (me) at an adjustable height and speed. Some of the DJI DON'T have the Follow Me even though they are higher-end models with higher-end price tags. So you see how I can get confused when I try to decide on a model to focus on - so much so that I end up closing the laptop in frustration. And then there are the price tags. The Ruko Gim2 is fairly priced, has the features I must have, and it has decent reviews, even from the Drone channels that have tested it. So I contacted them and asked if they'd be interested in letting me have one in order to 'supercharge' the video quality on my channel and ... they said sure, and sent me one. And then I go and lose it/let it get stolen/ I don't know. I went through a month period where I was so frustrated at it being missing - I'm not the kind of person that loses stuff (everything has its place) so you can imagine how I was feeling when it came up missing. I kind of lost my mind for a month as I kept going back through packing up the truck, having the truck in the shop... I need to stop talking about it because I can get myself wound up over it again... I never even got to fly the thing :/ Thank you again for your comment and for speaking about your connection to me fro your side of the lens. I appreciate you sharing that with me,

I am just afraid that I would drive people away if I actually posted those video clips :/
Choosing a drone always takes me down a rabbit hole. I never even got to fly the thing :/
Thank you again for your comment and for speaking about your connection to me fro your side of the lens. I appreciate you sharing that with me,

Not just Quartzsite delivery issues. I am a prime member with Amazon and it is now taking that long for me to get stuff in Florida.
If I ship to Parker, it takes 3 days... figure that out :/
Quality content.
Thank you :)
