I was blown away by how easy it was to set up. Bought it, turned it on, used my S23 to scan a QR code, 2 minutes later *bam* it's all set up without doing anything. Data copied over, images, contact, documents, everything. I'm utterly blown away by how good this tablet is.
Thank you for the video. In my opinion, the most important reason for using DeX is that each app can run in the size it was designed for and positioned on the desktop wherever you want. This way each app runs per definition always optimized on the tablet. The argument that the apps were not optimized for tablets no longer applies when running DeX. This argument actually only applies to iPads (e.g., running Instagram) and Android tablets running in standard tablet mode. Although Samsung even allows pop-up windows even in standard tablet mode.

Samsung has absolutely killed it this year. From the S9 Ultra to the Z Fold 5. Their devices are loaded with innovations. My iPad basically only gets used if I'm charging my Android devices. For years we've read tech reviews that constantly claimed that Android software was useless,and I'm still not sure what in the heck they're talking about it. There is nothing that my iPad Pro does that my Samsung tablet doesn't do better or with more flair. And now that I have a Fold 5, there's no reason to even glance at an iPhone.

I got the iPad Pro free from university, and I have to carry an iPhone as my work phone. That's the only reason I even have those. My personal items are the Z Fold 5 and Samsung S7+ tablet. I've been an Android user pretty much since the beginning, with the exception of my extremely missed Palm Pre that ran WebOS from 2009 with the hidden, but gorgeous pull-out keyboard. Man I loved that phone. I went from that to the original Samsung Note and have had Notes until the S22 Ultra came out as a Note replacement. From the S22 Ultra I went to the new Z Fold 5, and I don't think I've ever had this much excitement using a tech toy in my life.
Yep, I WAS considering an iPad pro because of Procreate. Then I got shown some of the programs on the S9 Ultra using the SPen. Goddamn. So much better.

As far as Photoshop/Photo Editing goes, one of the GREATEST features of my Tab S8 Ultra that no one talks about is the 'Second Screen' feature. SuperDisplay a $10 app works really great. The Tab S8 Ultra has basically replaced my Wacom Cintiq as my main Photoshop editing device. It's higher resolution, wireless, lighter, portable, and the S-Pen might be even better... Samsung's built-in 'Second Screen' works OK, but it used to work much better than it does now, I don't know what happened, but hopefully they will update it to work as good as SuperDisplay does. Plus, your files stay resident on your workstation and you don't have to copy files back and forth. I find that SuperDisplay works exactly the same wired or over WiFi. If there's a difference, I don't see any. As I mentioned, it's SO much better than Samsung's Second Screen. It's pretty crazy to me that Samsung definitely knows how much of a superior product SuperDisplay is and they could easily license the technology (like they do Wacom's EMR) or even purchase the company without even batting an eye, instead they ship a vastly inferior piece of software... Plus, the device is awesome all on its own... Literally blown away by how great it is! The S-Pen is fantastic and FREE in the box. You don't need to add a paper-like screen protector ($40) in addition to the $130 you'll pay extra for the Apple Pencil... I'm a 30+ year Professional Graphic Artist. When some say that there aren't Professional Visual Arts apps on android it's just really incorrect, because I use them everyday. Autodesk Sketchbook, Infinite Painter, Concepts, Krita are just a few of the apps available on the Google Play store... There are many more... Are there a few apps available on iPad that aren't on the Play store? Yes, of course, but a good carpenter never blames his tools, and with expertise and talent you can do anything and everything on android apps that you can do on iOS apps - NO DOUBT. If you're already entrenched in the Apple 'eco-system'... Then pay the extra $500 to $1500... Unfortunately, Samsung's trade-in's aren't great this year... Two years ago I got the 8GB RAM/256GB SSD Tab S7 Plus in Mystic Navy it was $356 from Samsung with a Tab S4 Trade-In I got off ebay for $175, they gave me $400 trade-in credit, so my total cost from Samsung for the Tab S7 Plus was $531. I had zero intention of upgrading. Samsung then offered me more than I paid for the S7+ in trade, for a 16GB/512GB Ultra. They also gave me $200 credit towards accesories. It was kinda of a no-brainer, plus the 4-year OS updates and 5-years of security updates for $517.59. I absolutely love the Ultra, and have no intention of upgrading, especially since Samsung will only give me $650 for the trade-in of my Ultra and the total cost will be $750 for the 16GB/1TB version... Maybe next time, Sammy...

I was happy for once when Samsung made the keyboard cover of Tab S7/S7+ compatible with S8/S8+, Samsung had finally made up their mind to set the size and form of their future tablets. This year, they change again. This is frustrating. Making most of the third-party company to produce more accessories.
If you're into large tablets do you wonder why the Galaxy View 18.2" and View2 17.4" didn't really do well? I'm still using the View2 and passed my 1st one on to my brother. Now I'm fetching around for a fresh View but with this release expect no new Views. A 2" loss of screen real estate is steep, especially since I lost an inch from 1st to 2nd generation totalling a 3" loss. Crap, if I want all those shiny new features I have to accept the loss.😢

Absolutely loved mine till it just shat itself. Only 2wks in the screen absolutely spat the dummy. Great tablet but way to thin, even with a case it flexes way to much. Result the screen cracks and spits the dummy. And no it was not due to rough usage, I was ultra careful due to it's thinness
@bluepawn lol silicon protection doesn't do shit to flexing as a result of how thin it is. It's too thin, after having it repaired it didn't even make it from the repair shop to me before they had to take it back to repair shop as it broke while they handed to me. I never even handled it. It was in the hands of the repair shop.
That is dangerous unplugged in or not.Some people might put an electric device in the tub,while they're bathing .They might think you had it plugged in.Anything that uses electricty ,even if unplugged from a electric cord is dangerous,as it still has electricty in the unit. also propping up the tablet could cause a danger.
Php85K plus, OMG, no. My son's costumized gaming deskptop was buffed from software to hardware worth Php70k. But I know, it's incomparable since they have different categories, from tablet to PC. But just comparing the price though.

I have the S8 Ultra and it is fantastic, reason I haven't impulsively upgraded this year, love it and would be a good price at present. Does everything and never lets you down.
I bought the Z Flip 5, Watch6 Classic and Tab S9+. All going back to Samsung. Tab S9 plus is nothing special compared to my S8+ and my iPad Pro M2. ZFlip 5 and Watch6 are a nightmare to use. Now I know why some people are still with Apple for years not because of being stuck in the ecosystem but because of seamless integration of apps across all devices. I'm very particular with the unparalleled Apple Watch and iPhone pairing. It's something I can't live without. Bye
I have Zflip 4 with galaxy watch 6. also use iphone 14pro with my apple watch 8. what is your problem? I never had problems with either. can you describe what stress you out about?
@TomTomdog first, I don't like the horrendous vibration motor of the watch6. Second, whenever I will go to sleep using my Apple watch, a simple tap of "sleep mode" either on my iPhone or Watch will sync both and upon waking up, if I turn off sleep mode in either will work on the other while on the watch6 and z flip, it's the other way around. Turning off the sleep mode on the watch will not turn off the mode on the flip. Plus, unlike on the Apple watch, which will automatically turn the screen off while sleeping, the watch6 doesn't. You have to manually go to the settings twice for the watch screen to turn off. 😠 mad work
@@attyjosh your right. Watch 6 motor sucks. Thats why I goto setting, sound and vibration, system vibration, and turn off all the vibrations from there. Instead I turn on system volume all the way. Also, goto developers option and change the animation down to 0.5. Then the watch kinda moves like apple watch but not better. Apple watch is definitely more premium and snappier. For the sleep mode, I dont know how to fix that. I never use sleep mode before. Maybe you can use Samsung member app to report error so the software team can do a software update on it. I hope Samsung can address your concern
