I think this is one of the greatest videos I’ve ever seen. It has everything dreams are made of and more! Big up The O Cane and his Slimehouse empire! I once found every Realms of Chaos miniature and book in the back of a dirty old school bus but alas it was all gone when I woke ⬆️ but I did once find a complete and boxed micronauts Space Exploration Lab inside a kitchen cupboard of a place we were clearing for renos 🎉. Most frustrating fun I’ve had with a toothbrush cleaning up later… wow do those ever have a lot of grooves in them!

Amazing find! I don't have any big find stories like this, but thrifting here in the US I've found old computers I've wanted, some handhelds, consoles, etc, and recently I found a small collection of terrain kit at a charity shop; grass, leaves, etc. Nothing spectacular, but cheaper than off the shelf so I'm happy about it! Thanks for the great video it was fun enjoying your find with you!

There is a store here were all the thriftstore rejects go and you have to pay by the pound.I have found some awesome things there especially during the pandemic

Wow that skip find is amazing! Whoever originally owned that lot must have seen some value in it as you don’t keep backing boards and boxes unless you love the stuff. Someone with no clue about this stuff has cleared that lot out, so glad it’s gone to a collector who values it 🙌 great seeing the studio update too, love seeing a man fulfilling his dreams 👏 and don’t get me started on that Doyusha artwork 😂- soooo good!

One of my greatest finds is a 1960s Bullmark Alien Metron sofubi figure from Ultraman for $20 AUD! It kick started my sofubi obsession 😀

My God, those miniatures reminded me of collecting the old white metal Warhammer figures in the early 80s, when the base came as part of the mold. That snake creature is a Lamia from Asian mythology, and they're very DEFINITELY female! That's one hell of a find in a skip, that looks like a house clearance where the next of kin had no idea what this stuff can be worth and just wanted the property emptying to flog it off. Bollocks to them, their careless throwaway is your little pot of gold! 😂 Good to see the studio coming on nicely!

Amazing haul there Theo. Astro Wars shot me straight down the nostalgia pipeline. Used to spend hours with that in my grandparents living room on Saturday mornings while my parents were nursing their Friday-night hangovers. 🤣

In the 80's, there was a neighborhood nearby that would toss out RIDICULOUS toys after Christmas - Like AT-ATs and major vehicles and playsets. Managed to get some awesome toys back in the day...

What a lucky find.... I've started collecting MOTU Masterverse, origins and vintage. Loved Bravestarr back in the day but never owned the toys.
I had that Why poster on my wall as a kid. They were a series of Vietnam posters that were available in those poster racks in Woolworths in the eighties.

That Snake Mountain Box is sick

Now it's not toys, but a friend of mines helping clear out his great uncles house full of old 80s fruit machines. I'm an arcade collector myself (videos tho not fruits) and he asked me if they were worth anything. I asked him to let me know what they were. But before he could, his mum put em all on Facebook marketplace for fifty quid. They had like a hundred people message them screaming I'LL TAKE THEM as some of them are worth quite a lot of money.
In this day and age it's pretty easy to look up the value of something, I even told them I'd help! But whatever, if people aren't prepared to figure out what they've got, I guess they deserve to lose out.
I'm not a toy collector but I always enjoy the videos, keep it up!

I remember taking a load of old electrical bits to the tip and sat outside of the bin was a sega mega drive with a box full of games. I proper wanted to take it but wasn’t sure if I could, so left it. Then on the way home to get the next load of stuff I decided I was going to get it, when I got there it was gone, I was proper gutted and learnt a hard lesson that day. I’ll never make that mistake again! 😂😢

incredible haul! i just wish you had spotlighted some of the other scores. All those annuals, the thundertank, the consoles, they all seemed like big scores to me. The most Ive ever found in the trash around my home are a headless ninja turtle and a luigi head 😂

Those shackles on Snake Mountain always break. Usually hard to find unbroken and expensive to buy. You can get repro ones that are less likely to break. Guess it depends on what you want for your display. I still need a set myself and I'm thinking reproduction.

My parents have added/help add to my since I was 6 and Star Wars came out 😉 My Dad passed in 2015 he loved garage sales and was his and moms hobby since I was 6yo back in the 1970’s and I would go and when I got older and didn’t go as much they would always bring me home stuff once being a dryer box 😮 yes a dryer box full of 80’s goodness from a garage sale that had figures for 25 cents in sandwich bags with there weapons/parts and ships galore and the best thing was all the parts at the bottom of the box…
Couple years back I was taking mom to some garage sales and was early in the AM well the lady had about 5 tables of vintage Christmas ornaments a lot of 70’s and 80’s character type well I was looking down not paying attention and there was about 4 other pickers there when all the sudden I catch a elbow to the side and flip around and mom is whispering something to me and trying NOT to draw any attention lol so I couldn’t make out what she was saying and she points toward the garage and I being 52yo my eyes are not what they once were lol so I take a step towards the garage and I see all these cardboard boxes and on the side of one I make out “Mark’ Indiana Jones Toys” then one on top said “ Mark’s A-Team Toys” then “Mark’s Dukes of Hazzard Toys” LMAO 🤣 I wanted to find where this lady was more then any women before!! So I find her and ask the dreaded question is the stuff in the garage for sale???
She says “yes I just didn’t have time to put it all out yet” I said how much for all and she said well how about “$100” I being 100% honest “$100” I pulled $500 in n crisp $100 bills out and gave them to her with the only box I looked at was the Indiana Jones box and there was every figure, vehicle, horse and playsets in the line with there boxes and card backs all unbroken even Indiana’s thumb and complete…
I filled my van up to the brim even had to take stuff out of boxes I would say that was all but I bought from this lady 4 times now all of her 2 sons toys and her daughters toys also you name it and it was there just about here she sold the GI Joes and Transformers including the Flagg Terrordrome at the sale the previous year to one guy early in the AM for $100 only GI joe thing I did get was remember the Christmas ornaments well she had them packed away in a Terror Drome box that was mint beside some writing on the side “Christmas Ornaments” lol
Also that day she had her one sons Star Wars toys on the other side of the garage and she couldn’t sell them until she heard back if he wanted them so I took her number and gave her mine I did ask to see them so I could know what I’m looking at well the stuff was as amazing as the other toys all there accessories were there including droids pop-up R2-D2 and some other droids and Ewoks figures and 5 of the last 17 with a double of the A-wing pilot…
Like I said I have bought off her number out times and always paid way more then she was asking like with the Star Wars I paid her $1500…
Long story short we’re would some of us collectors be without the help from

A skip is like a giant dumpster that you rent, fill with rubbish and they then take it away, normally to land fill.
