Just finished Jimmy Wayne's book "Walk to Beautiful". What a great book written by a guy who could have wined and cried about his childhood, but has risen to great heights despite (or maybe because of) his upbringing. It's a great read. [Edited to add this: he did a walk across America to benefit foster children so that they could stay in the foster system until they're 21 instead of 18. What a guy.
This guy has had an amazing life. He was a homeless teen, took in by an old couple and then he went Nashville and the rest is history. He even walked across America AFTER he had made it as an artist! What a great guy!

Just learning about Jimmy (after catching him on Daryl's House) and I am so impressed with his voice, his interpretations, and that was all before learning about his story...OMG! And I just learned today that he was raised just a few miles from me. I will want to know what happens to him...how his pro career goes.., how his life goes....our world is full of glorious often hidden, tales of victory...hats off to you Jimmy and love your voice. Some folks didn't want him to tell his troubled life and I insisted he DID! It is what connects people to him. Many of us have had some kind of trauma in our lives, too. I'm not into country really, and only found out about Jimmy when he appeared on Live From Daryls House maybe 11 years ago now. His story is incredible. It's a mystery to me why this fantastic song did not cross over to Pop/Top 40 radio. It's well-written, he puts his heart into it, very affecting lyrics, great production.

My ex husband's female friend's husband accused my ex of having an affair with his wife. Up until the time that my ex told me what his friend's hubby had said I had no thoughts of it being a possibility, even with her and I's history (another story about another ex and other things she told me about herself when we were friends). But then I thought of why his friend's husband would say it, and why would mine would say it to me? Paid more attention to how he was after that, and also of how he had been for the past year or so prior to it. A few months later I knew enough to leave him. He tried to get me back but I refused, now guess who he's with after her husband died.

At first I though this song makes sense, but now I realize that its bad to be extremely jealous. Plus if your partner starts looking for someone else, you do what you can and if she or he still leaves you, then she or he is not worth your effort and love.
It’s like everything in life/ there’s never 100% fault on ONE PERSON. Cheating is the result of shady behavior but the other person almost always plays a small role. I do not believe in cheating and will teach my kids how that if you are tempted to cheat, then chances are you shouldn’t be in that relationship. And if someone cheats on you, learn from it and keep rolling. It’s tough to leave someone and especially if there has been a strong connection- u hope cheating just relieves some of the pain

I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy and opening up for him in Georgia a couple of weeks ago, along with my friend, we perform a tribute act and have performed hundreds of times, but opening for him was something else, because of his open and kind heart and the stories he shared about his life. I just finished reading his book "Walk To Beautiful" and I personally believe it is one of the best books I have ever read. It would make a wonderful movie, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor, and check it out for yourselves.
Me and my ex at age 18 were together 3 & half years I cheated on him for the last 6 months of our relationship and denied denied denied bc I was afraid and confused I had only wanted attention from him and I had not got anything for quite some time we worked different shifts , I worked morning he worked night we just moved in together and it was rough on both of us, I still love him till this day. He cheated on me too but I had done worse with someone he thought would never done that to him. Yet it's been 2 going on 3 yrs since we broke up and we still talk argue and friends with benefits, we both care for eachother, but it's been hard because of trust I forgave and moved on.and he hasn't completely forgave me. All I've done is lie bc of guilt and what he thought of me. I'm on a different path now and will NEVER cheat again. I was young and stupid and destroyed everything we had. So those of you out there if your going to cheat break up with them bc it's Not worth hurting them or urself. I regret what I did bc if I hadn't me and my ex would still.been together. Thing is I'm working on myself to get back with him, maybe it'll happen maybe it wont. Either way I tried and I won't regret it. He sent me this song at 4am after we agrued. :(

My ex husband's female friend's husband accused my ex of having an affair with his wife. Up until the time that my ex told me what his friend's hubby had said I had no thoughts of it being a possibility, even with her and I's history (another story about another ex and other things she told me about herself when we were friends). But then I thought of why his friend's husband would say it, and why would mine would say it to me? Paid more attention to how he was after that, and also of how he had been for the past year or so prior to it. A few months later I knew enough to leave him. He tried to get me back but I refused, now guess who he's with after her husband died.
Still Love this song. I am hoping for some new music from a great talent who's best is yet to come.

At first I though this song makes sense, but now I realize that its bad to be extremely jealous. Plus if your partner starts looking for someone else, you do what you can and if she or he still leaves you, then she or he is not worth your effort and love.
It’s like everything in life/ there’s never 100% fault on ONE PERSON. Cheating is the result of shady behavior but the other person almost always plays a small role. I do not believe in cheating and will teach my kids how that if you are tempted to cheat, then chances are you shouldn’t be in that relationship. And if someone cheats on you, learn from it and keep rolling. It’s tough to leave someone and especially if there has been a strong connection- u hope cheating just relieves some of the pain

Jimmy was at Monticello Casino this past Sat. what a show he put on with that fantastic voice and life story, Amazing guy.
I was dating a guy that was older than me and he got put in jail and I told I not waiting for you cause you might get me put in jail one day if we stay together so I ended it with him and when he got he called me up and said the new guy is holding all the way cross town so you believe me now I said I can't trust you cause he done drugs and I can't be with someone like that
I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy and opening up for him in Georgia a couple of weeks ago, along with my friend, we perform a tribute act and have performed hundreds of times, but opening for him was something else, because of his open and kind heart and the stories he shared about his life. I just finished reading his book "Walk To Beautiful" and I personally believe it is one of the best books I have ever read. It would make a wonderful movie, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor, and check it out for yourselves.

Me and my ex at age 18 were together 3 & half years I cheated on him for the last 6 months of our relationship and denied denied denied bc I was afraid and confused I had only wanted attention from him and I had not got anything for quite some time we worked different shifts , I worked morning he worked night we just moved in together and it was rough on both of us, I still love him till this day. He cheated on me too but I had done worse with someone he thought would never done that to him. Yet it's been 2 going on 3 yrs since we broke up and we still talk argue and friends with benefits, we both care for eachother, but it's been hard because of trust I forgave and moved on.and he hasn't completely forgave me. All I've done is lie bc of guilt and what he thought of me. I'm on a different path now and will NEVER cheat again. I was young and stupid and destroyed everything we had. So those of you out there if your going to cheat break up with them bc it's Not worth hurting them or urself. I regret what I did bc if I hadn't me and my ex would still.been together. Thing is I'm working on myself to get back with him, maybe it'll happen maybe it wont. Either way I tried and I won't regret it. He sent me this song at 4am after we agrued. :(
