I wouldn't say broken, I'd just say it provides a cheaper alternative to prayer potions, prayer potions and super restores will still be king, especially because you have the ability to maintain a greater number of doses in your inventory compared to moths, but it's great to see a skill actually reward you with an alternative method of providing prayer in combat.
Cheap, and you can easily get them at 73 Hunter because of the Guild's free beer. They'll be *fantastic* for Slayer. And if I ever pull a Brine Sabre for this lousy clue, I'll be using them to keep Protect Item on at all times so I don't get robbed. (This step has no chill, I swear.) I wonder if the Moths themselves don't count as Prayer-restoring potions for that one Chaos Fanatic task? The mixes are explicitly potions with a "Drink" option, but the Moths have a "Release" option, so I'm hoping that they might be an option for the task that doesn't involve the Chaos Altar.
What would be the best meat to use to make these mixes once you're done with rumors? From my estimations of my block list, I would get the quetzal pet with ~12k moths, but only 1.5k kyatt/fox meats from loot sacks. Are dashing kebbits the fastest including the banking time?
Dashing kebbits are usually the fastest I've found, otherwise just use whatever you have left from sacks. I was able to get a lot of from back when kebbit swapping was a thing but even then just spamming the same kebbit is pretty quick

Oh man, I use these now to just camp protect melee while farming my Zombie Axe. Run down, wait 10 minutes, and then only farm the melees in full prayer bonus in the instanced version.
Definitely doing this before I go back to cerb lol. I had to red X kill him for so long cause literally a couple hundred kills will wipe out all of my prayer pots
Good content 75 hunter is pretty steep Prayer pots greatly outscale moths in time, ease of access, and efficient exp I don't think this is broken, nor something that should be specifically farmed Just a bonus that comes from doing your hunter tasks
@@Wayf4rer this is subjective. Prayer is a resource that people handle very differently. If you do Scurius at low level, flick prayers properly and squeeze prayer bonus, you'll consume 4to 10 times less prayer than somebody who prays like a pig on a "BiS" gear, same is true for any content; At 50 prayer and around 50 in combat stats, I was able to do 4 to 5 Scurius per trips, my 2 friends were destroying prayer pots for the same kill/hour. Prayer pots haven't been a bottleneck for me but despite having farmed gracefull relatively early, stamina potions have been an issue because I do not manage pathing and patience as well as others.

rumors changed my mind completely about hunter. it's so easy to lvl now an it's so enjoyable. super nice to have the option to not waste prayer pots while just doin random stuff
the rate of rumours is on par with regular hunting, you just do more diverse stuffs and get value and incidental training for other skills. It's not as good xp as the best methods, and it doesn't compete with black chins at high end.
They're good, but 75 hunter is still a steep requiement! But I do like how Hunter is now a small combination of Fishing, Herblore, and even some Crafting/Fletching with the Crossbow and Hide Armour.
Snowy knights mixes on release healed 15 per dose but they quickly hotfixed it to 8. I can obviously see why, especially since they don't have the standard delay. But even nerfed, having an 8 heal without a delay can be very nice as an emergency heal and PKing. Although Sunlight moths definitely outclass them because it's just a raw heal.
Another reminder is that the drinks at the bar *right there* boost your hunter by +2. I think I can actually start catching these right now! Good thing too, the mixes are already up to 2k each. Value wise I doubt they'll go above 4k relative to the cost of pray pots, but it'll depend how popular sharing them with your buddies for efficiency gets.
38 Herblore isn't the restriction for Prayer Pots, it's their high cost to use or supply of Ranarrs and Snapdragons which aren't easy to farm. With these, I could farm about 10 prayer potions worth of prayer restore in a few minutes tops.

It's NPC Indicators, at the very bottom you can draw name above NPC instead of like highlighting their entire outline

If you have the hunstman kit, you can world hop and get thousands of jars quickly.
For jars just bring hunter kit and have left click to fill. bam! even better

Vile vigour is really good for these! You can simply catch one or two more to refill your prayer.

Yes you can! I bought a few noted 1 doses, and was able to decant them into 2 doses using the GE dude!
