I've been all over the northern hemisphere and Glen Coe is still my favourite place on earth. I may be biased but it's beauty is undeniable, even in the bitter cold. Be thankful there are no midges in the wintertime. I hope you like Scotland and had a pleasant stay?
Hi Eddie you seem to have seen a lot more of Scotland than a lot of us Scots. That is truly a beautiful scene to see at any time of the year, but special at this time of the year. Thank you for showing this you do Scotland proud.
I think, whenever Glencoe is mentioned, these wintry images spring to mind, at least for me, so it was just the right time of year, and during the right weather conditions that you brought us here. I could imagine how cold it was and how cold you felt, which, on reflection, was why you had the sniffles later in Fort Augustus. Thankyou for the trip, as long as you didn't slip. 🙂
Very eerie atmosphere at Glencoe, my mind always drifts to the massacre of Glencoe whenever I pass through there. Love it. Scotland has so many amazing places to visit. You should do Bealach na Ba, Applecross, Luskentyre to name just a few.
Makes me happy that you made it to Glencoe Eddie,I'm going to hike about and camp there in the spring.Cheers from Canada pal(it's currently -9 and the snow is up to your knees)already in Bracebridge Ont.Canada.
Glencoe is a very special place, I always get the chills! Glad you're enjoying yourself! The "James Bond road 'is very near where you are, it's in Glen Etive.
Hi again Eddy just to applaud your camera work buddy it's flawless. Every time I take a pic or a video it turns to shoit, as you'd no doubt say 😂 Glad you enjoyed Glencoe.
Great video Eddy, love your infectious enthusiasm ❤ ps you should get into stand up Eddy - “..bring your girlfriend, your cat, your dog, your MOUSE!” 😆😆😆
Glencoe is my favorite place on earth, I visit every year, the majestic feeling you get is palatable......when it's milder. I done the highest summit of the 3 sisters couple of time . Eddie is right, cameras definitely don't do it justice.
Eddy, Your in Scotland for sure now ! It changes regardless of what time of year you visit , part of the reason you have to get out of the cities! You need to bring your girlfriend and do the north coast 500 and go right up north sometime. They always say you can get four seasons in a day . Great video as always 👍
@ definitely worth doing Eddy ! especially if you like spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches I’ve lived in Scotland all my life and even I was really impressed and surprised how amazing it was.
Get yourself into steel falls Eddie it's not far away from Glencoe , go in the summer time as it could be abit dangerous during the winter . It's about a 20 minute walk through the gorge but it opens out to a massive hidden waterfall and surrounded by mountains. Amazing place to camp for a night or 2 aswell.
I waa up there a few days after you. .blue skies and no snow, but probably even colder 🤣 I got the first citylink bus in the morning, and a bus back an hour before sunset and spent hours at Ballachulish and Glencoe Village. You can walk the hidden valley in the Three Sisters, but since it's a remote walk I wouldn't recommend doing it solo. You can also do parts of the West Highland Way right before Glencoe, or the Glencoe orbital path at the village.
Well done Eddie good lad, first time I went came from Glasgow with my girlfriend we came out the car the mist was still and we both had tears running down our face.We were both seventeen I was a tough lad from Glasgow the place just immersed us in a deep spiritual level.Thats when I understood why people called it Gods country.Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and look forward to your uploads👍🏴
Picked a good time to visit the highlands, until 20 years ago places like that would have a good few feet or more of snow all winter. Scotland has a right to roam so, yes you can hike in glencoe. Beautiful place with a dark history to it. If you need something to rest a camera on try a small bean bag with something like sand or beads inside that will even out the surface underneath and give you a flatter surface on top.
They should have placed the car park and visitors centre in the woods to hide the man made structures from nature, a 20 metre walk out the woods to reveal the stunning scape would be a better visual experience
You waited till the dead of winter to go to Glencoe?. You want to see snow and ice?. Stop by the Cairngorms; take the chairlift to the top for a coffee.

They should have placed the car park and visitors centre in the woods to hide the man made structures from nature, a 20 metre walk out the woods to reveal the stunning scape would be a better visual experience
It’s actually “Glen Coe”. Two words. The village is Glencoe
You waited till the dead of winter to go to Glencoe?. You want to see snow and ice?. Stop by the Cairngorms; take the chairlift to the top for a coffee.
Are you heading over to Loch Lomond mate
No, not this time 😀
Aww edd buddy thats not a lot of snow 😂😂 the roads get closed when there is a LOT of snow in glencoe. I live 30 mins dive north from where you are

Hardly a hidden gem it’s one of Scotlands most famous attractions
Haggis hunting season December January February 👍
That’s you trapped for a fortnight eddy 😂 could be worse places to be trapped I suppose haha true was the snow that sweeps glencoe
3 Sisters right in front of you ( Mountains )
No 🏴 no Party 🫵 Eddie
Soak it up Eddie. What a fantastic experience. Got to hand it to you hardy Scots. Guess that's why you've got the whisky up there.👏👏🥃
Unbelievable experience 🤩
It’s hardly scotlands hidden gem . It’s no patch on torridon or knoydart . As well as many other places
Lose yourself in exposed areas off the road no chance
It’s not hidden 😂well documented actually
You're no far from nevis as well..... Get on the oldest ski lift in scotland. Im guessing that was just a pit stop where you heading
30 miles away lol
Don't feed the haggis

The roads are full of English campervans and the hills full of dead English hikers.
