How's Gerry. Mower is going well in kerry. Cut hay with it this week, cleans the ground lovely
Good stuff. Great to hear you have her set up and in use.
Where in Kerry u fron
Lovely stuff! 👍🌞🌞🌞
The saying has been changed all over the country for this year.....
"Make hay while it remains humid and overcast!" 🤣🤣
When I watched the previous video with the Davy brown pulling the jd square baler, I said to myself no no it needs to be 2850 all green/yellow. Thanks Gerry for pairing them up
The 2850 looks the business on the baler it looks stunning
Yes looks the part
Great to see her back in a action, looking like new.👌
Lovely looking tractor .used to drive a 3050 and a 3350 in the day .
Beautiful set up bro
Cracking set up!!
That's a good looking rig, only Improved with a cooks sledge I reckon. I could have done with a young lad directing some of the bales. Had a lot of doubles chasing each other!
Usually a fan of bigger rubber but I reckon she looked better on the old tyres and rims myself. Still looking stunning.
Great see the 28 back in action 🤔 really good steerin lock round the cattle sheds👍 are u havin a problem with ur bale sledge always seems to be someone ridin on it 🙄 28 an the baler together just a perfect match 💪💪
It can stick and catch in the sledge when you save hay with fuck all sun. Always been the same. Hence why was some one there directing bales. Tot her wise it’s a bale every 5 foot all over the field.
Fantastic 👍 👍
Hi gerry, nice video. That nice hay.

Nice video.
Great video why are the guys riding on the back
Mchale mower or malone? 🤔
Nice video Gerry. Why do you have two different types of bailing, square and round. Is there a different uses for it. Thanks. 🚜🚜🚜🚜👍👍👍👍👍
Yes some prefer the large round ones..... the less lazy like the small square bales. 😊more manual labour with those. Just a preference
@@gerry6420 Thank you.....😉
Hi Gerry, just wondering with the price of beef how do you manage to keep all your machinery so new and build new sheds or do work off farm
Brian Delaney good question. Luckily I’m a plumber... my dads is a motor mechanic so neither of us depend on the farm for our income. Anything money made on the farm, which isn’t much at the minute is and has been invested back in over the years. Buy means of increasing stock numbers, maybe building a new building or replacing a bit of machinery. When changing machinery. We usually have something quite good to trade in that takes the sting out of trading up. All machinery we have is paid for.... well up until this week( purchase of a mower). So there hasn’t been payments on that kinda stuff for few years. The shed we built last year was first building we done in 10 years and was grant aided. Which was a big help. Between myself and my father, we have worked some Extremely long hours to get it where it is. Whether it’s been worth it or not now when you see the uncertain future in the industry will be another story.
Great stuff, I hope you don’t think I was being critical, ye have a super set up and always do everything the right way, fair play to ye and hopefully beef price will improve or cost of inputs decrease and we ll all be happier. Thanks again for the great videos
Lovely video. I presume the lads on the buncher are making up for some fault in it.
No just the type of hay it is. Bales can stick in it sometimes when hay is saved with not much sunshine. It’s perfectly fit, but they just catch. Can happen it hay gets Tedded a lot too. Or type of grass.
What county are you from tipperary
Hey mate great video! I’ve got a video up of a new Holland baler and sledge! Could you take a look!
John deere 2850 for sale?
Did the bale sledge come with 2 guys when you bought it
Farmer 2003 was actually 3 but 1 fell of coming over the road.... lost for ever
@@gerry6420 looks like 2 were doing ok the 3 guy wont be missed
Does it break many bales Gerry
Baled 770 yesterday and was 2 loose when the twine was changing over. Rarely misses a beat
Cute hoors from Kerry 😂
Nice lads they were.
Is the 2850 30 yrs of age gerry??👍😎
Not quite.... it’s 1993
What part of the country are you from
Dundalk, Co. Louth
Why are the guys on the back of the baler??
bale sledge could be broken
Making sure the bales don't jam in the chute
Great Health & Safety
Oh ok
