for other old timers , in 1958 I ran John Deere Model 45 combines . My Boss was very proud of me when I broke both in one afternoon, combining soybeans !!! Fed one a rock, hit a buried rock and bent cutter bar one the other one . Not bad for a 17 year old. Two row corn head, finished about 900 acres New Years eve!
Loved the IH 815 shelling corn. We had a brand new 76 model with a 863 corn head. I can still recall the sound of that D414 IH diesel working with that 6 row corn head.
Your videos are THE BEST hands down. Love seeing the older machines of the 70s do their stuff, specially the 66 series of the Big Reds. I grew up in the early 70s riding round on AW 6s and AW7s and Chamberlain tractors, Inter combines, and Inter headers, and still running a 1644 header with a 10-10 bat reel front. Compared to our previous Massey headers the 1644 is like a Rolls Royce. Keep up the great work.👍🏻
Thank you for the comment. I have some Chamberlain/John Deere tractors brochures. They look like solid tractors. The 1644 sounds like. Is it a 2wd or 4wd model?
Well dang. We just returned a really tight all original (except for the seat and very few other small parts) 856 that we borrowed from a friend to run a module builder this year. Was definitely the straightest old red tractor I’ve seen in a long time that hadn’t been restored.
It's amazing to see these good old power still running, here in France (or Europe generally) you can't see as big tractor, old like new (because of the road size, only running Quadtrac or JD RX). You're awesome, thanks for all your videos and happy new year !
Happy new years Jason, thanks for all the awesome videos in 2017, looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2018, I'm impressed by all your knowledge and I love watching all the new and old stuff, a lot of these machines take me back to my child hood, it's great to see some farmers using the older machines, I also like seeing the new machines and how far technology has come since I've become an adult.
You weren't kidding about the Challenger 1000 series. Holy smoke, we rented one to prep a construction site and I could not believe the power and smoothness. Not only that, but it has so many features that we could not explore them all in the two weeks we had it on site. We pulled a tandem scraper so easily that I told the boss I could pull three if he wanted (probably not, but it sure felt like it) A real nice machine.
The farm I work on has a gold demonstrator 826 we use for little squares and raking. And we also have a front wheel assist 1206 that we are currently repainting to make it look brand new for our "antique" farm show and farm work.
We also have other cool equipment. Like S660/680, 7290R. Case 3594, case quadtrac 9380, new holland bidirectionals, and an older 8430. Along with many others. Keep up the great vids.
Nice, I’ll be looking forward to seeing the Internationals as my great-granddad ran a few and we still have a couple of them including the 1466, the 1456, and a Farmall 806
I know exactly what you mean and how you feel brother. I'm very fortunate to still have both my parents still with us but I know how you feel about not haven the farm anymore. But god is good and we will all see them again when the lord takes us home. Prayers for you and your family brother.
The best one was the Allis Chalmers articulated tractor disking. I'm a John Deere guy who likes all John Deere's new technology, but your eyes are the best GPS you can't take away.
Just came across your channel. By far the best farm equipment/tractor videos I've seen. MUCH better than the typical clickbait compilation trash. Thanks!
Love this video Jay. I really enjoy everything that you are and have done in the farming industry, everything from the videos to the toys you've helped create. Not much has really changed since we were kids farming on any piece of carpet we could find. On another note,PA Farms here on UA-cam is in PA and is surrounded by what appears to be a wealth of Massey Combines. Might be some neat models to film out that way. Not to mention his collection of vintage tractors and equipment.
Thank you very much Noel. Great times in the 80’s watching Case 4wds at Kissels and Kohlman’s. You were the first person to point out the hood difference between a Case 2470 and 4690 to me. Great times also adding 1.64 dual wheels and chemical tanks but cutting up other tractors and Planters and attaching them with modeling clay.
bigtractorpower I've spotted a few Case tractors out in Oakfield, Alabama NY,even spotted a Case 90 series 4wd, don't see too many anymore so they're easily spotted. Maybe next visit we can road trip and track some down. Also alot of vintage 70's 80's agco iron out Perry and Pavilion way.
Case is getting harder and harder find. They used to be all over WNY. I spotted a few nice 2590s in IL this fall. I hope see them at work in the spring.
Great video, I have a friend that still uses 2 of the tan colored Case 2470 tractors to farm with as his main field tractors here in Eastern Washington
Yessssss!!!!! More Ford tractors!! Definitely hope to see more of those!! And the white tractors I can get with too love the way they look! If my grampa was out in the field more or I had more time off I would tell you to come down where he lives to see his 7600 open station with duals and 7240 with a loader but age has taken away the farming and givin most of the land to crp... Maybe when I get out of the military I can go up there and take over the farm and bring back the corn and beans that were there in my childhood!
Great history. I grew up around FORD machines. I hope to find more to film. The next video after this titled Tractors, Plows and Harvesters has a FORD 5000 in it spraying.
bigtractorpower yes I saw that and thought it was pretty cool always excited when I see blue even the new New holland have a special place in my heart but if I had to choose it would definitely be the older models or the Genesis I was around those growing up in south west Kansas a couple feed yards/dairy’s had them to push silage, but growing up with my grandpas 2wd 7600 open station and 2wd 7700 that he traded for the fwa 7240 with a loader just brings me back!
The IDEAL combine is AGCO's new series of combines. I think there are Class 7,8 and 9s available. They will be branded as Fendt or Massey in the UK and as Challenger in the states, but really wouldn't be surprised to see Fendt and MF brandings here... for differences between brandings, I'd guess the Fendt might have more features, and the Challenger may be more "simple". www.agriland.ie/farming-news/is-agcos-latest-creation-the-ideal-combine-harvester/
The Ideal Combine is still a bit of a mystery for North America. I hope AGCO has one at the National Farm Machinery Show next month. Ideal is a South American Combine brand AGCO acquired in 1996 and rebranded as Massey Ferguson in 1997. I would say the main purpose of the Ideal is to bring a Class 9 twin rotor into AGCO to compete with the Claas Lexion that is sold by many CAT/Challenger dealers across North America.
I'll never be a farmer. But it finally where I can see these great machines used in agribusiness. I hope it will be something I will follow in the future as well. Great job. Thanks.
My dad hired a guy with a IH 915 combine but the IH engineers were not thinking much about wet fields,,, so with its small tires it was getting stuck too often. I don’t remember it having many problems though. We had IH and Farmall tractors: Super C, 460 narrow front and 460 wide front, 656 utility low profile, 826 Hydro Demonstrator, 986 and 3388 2+2. I think I was 7 or 8 when I first drove a tractor. My first time out on public roads I didn’t see the lady in a car trying to pass me on a gravel road and she nearly went in the ditch. I got to drive every tractor and operate many of the attachments. The farm was sold in 1981 but my dad gave the Super C to my oldest brother. The farm was 3 miles west of Racine Minnesota on the 2nd highest spot in Mower county. Two of my brothers are part of the group that runs the antique tractor show south of Racine Minnesota. The website is rootrivershow.org
Case traction king tractors were mentioned for 2018. I have a first year production 2470 that I pull a 20’ no till drill with. Also a couple IH 1086’s. If interested, located in northern Virginia.
Just started watching your videos and actually love the videos. Something else that makes them good is they come from a fellow Kentuckian you’ve got the big agricultural equipment in your part of the state and I’ve got the big mining equipment in my part. Keep the videos coming brother
Another great video! Another good combine video for next year for me would be a Gleaner R55, we just bought one and i can only find one video on UA-cam of an R55
I got a WFE 2-70 all original with duals that we plant disc and cultivate with also have a 7040 Allis Chalmers that cultivates and hauls grain wagons and a gleaner r-52
bigtractorpower I have the older style 06 series grille. Mine is a 1967. Grandfather bought it brand new. Always kept indoors, although it does show age. I started cultivating corn with it in my teens, and still do nowadays.
if you're willing to come to north eastern NY there are 06-86 tractors on nearly every farm. The Champlain and Hudson valley areas are mostly small dairy farms where these machines are hugely popular and still in daily use mixing tmr and spreading.
Hey Jason great job man, and if you are ever in South West Missouri let me know. We got lots of great farm equipment and I know where an international four wheel drive is
Happy New Years Jason. We have a couple of Case tractors here in Western Wisconsin. A 1975 1570 Case and also a 1974 2470 Case. If you'd like more details, let me know.
Have you ever filmed a 8590 Massey Ferguson combine? They were rare and huge for their time. They held the title of the biggest rotary combine for a lot of years. We used to own one... It would have been a later version of the White 9700 that you have here...
I would really like to film an 8590. I spotted one in IL on the way to film the 9700. I have a great 8590 ad in my literature collection that shows a wall paper hanger rolling a big MF decal up over WFE. For a very short time there was a Massey 9720.
Actually it would have been White 9700, then White 9720, then Massey 8590. The 9720 and the 8590 were virtually the same... They had a 250hp V8 Perkins
you've got a lot better with your volume control in your newer video. This one I turn up to hear your voice and then the tractor footage blasts and wakes the kids. I like to hear the machinery nice and clear of course, but the voice has to match. I've followed you a long time and you've sure come a long way, nice job.
Just knowing different farms and following them through out the season. Several I have known very years and stay in touch with them through out the season to catch them from start to finish. Others I found out about through friends or just spotted them on the road and pulled in and asked them if I could film. I enjoy watching your channel. Keep up the good work. I plan to attend the farm day this year.
bigtractorpower my dad's main farming tractor when I was growing up was a 1967 International Farmall 806 with duals and a Cozy Cab. Could you do a video on this era tractor? Thanks. Love your channel!
I am always on the look out for tractors like your Dad’s 806. I collect sales literature and have several Hiniker, Year Round, Egging and other cab pieces. I would enjoy getting to film some tractors with these cabs.
It's kind of funny how the Allis Chalmers 8550 is referred to as the Queen Mary considering the RMS Queen Mary had three funnels and it was the RMS Queen Elizabeth that had two. Theres a farm up here that has two 8550s. They're quite the sight parked beside one another
When you do headers it would be great to see samples of the various grains in the various harvesters shown. After all is said and done that is the sum of what it is about.
I often do show the sample and residue spread and what is left on the ground in individual combine videos. This one is just compilation of big machines I got to film over year 2017.
Awesome video! Tom Renners JD WA-14 was definitely the highlight of this video. Thanks Tom.... and thank you Big Tractor filming guy!
I never thought I’d get to see a WA 14 in the field. Tom has some great classic 4wds.
*Thank you for the fantastic videos! I truly appreciate the historical insights you provide about the industry alongside the content.*

It's amazing to see these good old power still running, here in France (or Europe generally) you can't see as big tractor, old like new (because of the road size, only running Quadtrac or JD RX). You're awesome, thanks for all your videos and happy new year !
The big track tractors are gaining popularity here as well. I hope to visit Europe some day to see the farming.
I love watching Big Tractor Power..

Beautiful machines. Technology has come a long way in the tractor world.
👍 a lot of good looking 💪 equipment... great video need more videos with sound so the engine can be heard 👌

Good Ole American Fendt.
Thanks for all the great videos, really enjoy the history of the industry that you put along with the videos.
Thank you for watching. I enjoying sharing tractor history.

Its good to see Claas farm equipment with John deere tractor's having three hay mowers makes it easy to get work done efficiently

Wow that is an awesome line up. Where do you farm?
Nice equipment. The 3594 is a harder one to find these days.
Fairly new subscriber and just caught this 2017 list. Many good looking tractors. Cannot wait for the 2018 list.
Thank you for watching, subscribing and commenting. This year will be the top 18 for 2018.
Thanks for all the great videos this year, Happy New Year, looking forward to 2018
Thank you for watching. Happy New Year.
Nice, I’ll be looking forward to seeing the Internationals as my great-granddad ran a few and we still have a couple of them including the 1466, the 1456, and a Farmall 806
Very nice lH tractors to have. What year is the 1466?
I don’t remember of the top of my head I’ll have to find the serial number
That IHC 815 is awesome, love those older machines.
This 815 has 1,200 original hours. It’s very cool. I would like to find a 915 to film.
That Minneapolis Moline sure looks clean. He takes good care of that tractor
👍
I was so heart broken when we lost our farm and I miss my dad R.I.P
Very sad mate
I know exactly what you mean and how you feel brother. I'm very fortunate to still have both my parents still with us but I know how you feel about not haven the farm anymore. But god is good and we will all see them again when the lord takes us home. Prayers for you and your family brother.
The best one was the Allis Chalmers articulated tractor disking. I'm a John Deere guy who likes all John Deere's new technology, but your eyes are the best GPS you can't take away.
The two 8550 4wds were a big find. One has an AC 2600 disk and one has a 2500 disk. Great orange combination.
bigtractorpower Yes it is. Great find. Sad Allis Chalmers went out of business.
Really nice video with great tractors!!! Happy new Year and greets from germany
Happy New Year. Thank you for watching.
That was an awesome video my friend thanks a bunch Happy New Year's man

Great video, I have a friend that still uses 2 of the tan colored Case 2470 tractors to farm with as his main field tractors here in Eastern Washington
That is very cool. A tan 2470 is hard to find.
I enjoy the videos and all the sounds
It finally unfolded 47½years later 😆
Great video love to see a good mix of new and old equipment, also id love to see some old ford stuff
Hopefully 2018 will be a good year to find FORD.
Thanks for the great videos Jason!

Thank you for watching. 100 years of John Deere tractors in 2018.
Tom Renner has quite the collection. Thank B T P.
Yes he does. Good tractor guy to meet.
Great vid !
We thank you !
That's a nice looking open station 970 CASE with that 815 IH....brings back some memories
The 815 and 970 make a cool Case IH history combo.
bigtractorpower that they do... Have a great new year
I grew up on a J.I. Case 930 and a 1030 . Those were some tough tractors back in the day. Wish there were more around still.
Good video of jake! We usually see him doing the filming nice to see from another angle. Great channel to watch.
Jake has a nice farm. I visited it this fall so stay tuned for more Jake farming.
Happy new year. Great video!
Thank you. Happy New Year.
I salute your videography skills. Well done, well done.

Happy New Year. Thank you for watching.
Hopefully you'll run across the new IDEAL combines next year, and maybe some NH Ford 70 series tractors.
That would be awesome. Lots of people talking about AGCO’s new Combine.
Will there be Fendt and Massey versions in the states?
The IDEAL combine is AGCO's new series of combines. I think there are Class 7,8 and 9s available. They will be branded as Fendt or Massey in the UK and as Challenger in the states, but really wouldn't be surprised to see Fendt and MF brandings here... for differences between brandings, I'd guess the Fendt might have more features, and the Challenger may be more "simple".

Throughly enjoyed your video.
Thanks for the video. Although we never owned any AC tractors, I think it would be great to find a D-21 or 220 stirring up some dirt.
I sure would like to film a d21 or a 220 in the field. I may have chance on a 220 next fall for grain cart duty.
I agree. We had a 220 way back, they had great HP for their time. We pulled a deep tillage disc with it for tearing up what used to be woodland.
I'll never be a farmer. But it finally where I can see these great machines used in agribusiness. I hope it will be something I will follow in the future as well. Great job. Thanks.
Thank you for watching.
Jason thank you so much mark

Great history. Thank you for sharing.
The 915 diesels were great combines but the gassers with the v8 were junk, no power.
1:10 that’s a 12 wheel drive😂😂😂😂
The 8550 also have 2 turbochargers on that 731 cid diesel. How did Hutsons get there 9RX row tracs so quickly?
Case traction king tractors were mentioned for 2018. I have a first year production 2470 that I pull a 20’ no till drill with. Also a couple IH 1086’s. If interested, located in northern Virginia.
Wow that is cool. A tan 2470 is rare. Could you email me at contact@bigtractorpower.com
I'm braziliam. Congratulation !!! i love farms and your movies. I like play the game farming simulator 19, is top. Thanks!
Thank you for watching. FS19 is a great game. I hope BTP helps FS players with machine info and detail.

Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching.
Awesome video, Happy new year bigtractorpower
Greetings from Africa
Happy New Year. Thank you for watching.
Cool machines. Cool video.
Just started watching your videos and actually love the videos. Something else that makes them good is they come from a fellow Kentuckian you’ve got the big agricultural equipment in your part of the state and I’ve got the big mining equipment in my part. Keep the videos coming brother
Thank you Josh. Mining equipment is impressive to see in operation.
bigtractorpower I’ve seen it everyday for 15 years and it’s not gotten old yet. I drive a Mack RD800 coal truck myself
Very nice!!
Will there be a video of the case combine on tracks with the large narrow row header? It was show quickly at the beginning of the video
Yes there will be a full video on the 24 row Geringhoff corn head.
Gleaner wow I haven't seen one of those in ages....
Another great video! Another good combine video for next year for me would be a Gleaner R55, we just bought one and i can only find one video on UA-cam of an R55
The R55 would be cool. Stand out Gleaner.
That's for sure
I got a WFE 2-70 all original with duals that we plant disc and cultivate with also have a 7040 Allis Chalmers that cultivates and hauls grain wagons and a gleaner r-52
That is an awesome farming line up.
bigtractorpower i could probably get you some clips as I plan on starting my own UA-cam channel this spring
I never heard of saw any implement with 54 rows. Just Wow!
It is big time farming. They run a 24 row corn head behind this planter in the fall.
Muito legal, pena que aqui no Brasil não tem tecnologia assim.
Great video
Is that factory AC on the #3 Minneapolis-Moline ? And I hope to see some Versatile Delta Tracks in 2018! Awesome job this year.
Yes the MM is factory. A Delta Track would be very cool to film. I keep asking my friend Mike Less to help me find one.
I run a Farmall 656 gas and an Oliver 550 on our small farm south of Atlanta.
Very cool. I am a 656 fan. Do you have the 06 style white grille or the 56 style silver mesh grille?
bigtractorpower
I have the older style 06 series grille. Mine is a 1967. Grandfather bought it brand new. Always kept indoors, although it does show age. I started cultivating corn with it in my teens, and still do nowadays.
Loved it!
Thank you for watching.

Thank you very much. I filmed in the Boot Heel last year. Sounds like I need to head back west.
We put up all our Hay with Oliver’s A 1650 and a 1855 And a 262 white, if you’d like to visit Iowa in June we got 60acres we put up.
What part of Iowa ?
bigtractorpower northwest Iowa. 4miles southeast of Sheldon
Nice videos like the old mixed in with the new

Yes i really like this kind of Manchester in filed dear
Happy New Years Jason. We have a couple of Case tractors here in Western Wisconsin. A 1975 1570 Case and also a 1974 2470 Case. If you'd like more details, let me know.
Very cool. Nice line up. Send me an email at contact@bigtractorpower.com
Me gustan los tractores
hi dear is very big machine I think but how its work in front and back in the field as well as in the transportations
I'd like to see more videos in the field on case 2090
you've got a lot better with your volume control in your newer video. This one I turn up to hear your voice and then the tractor footage blasts and wakes the kids. I like to hear the machinery nice and clear of course, but the voice has to match. I've followed you a long time and you've sure come a long way, nice job.
There's a John Deere Wagner tractor somewhere around South Charleston Ohio.
How do you find the machines that you film?
I would enjoy getting to film some tractors with these cabs.
the best 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Kaden Smith of Kokomo,Indiana owns some classic Oliver tractors.
Kaden is a cool guy. I did a video on his Cockshutt 1850.
Hey Jason I have a 2-105 white that was built an Oliver but changed into a 2-105 on a dealers lot
I would like to know more about that. Could you email me at contact@bigtractorpower.com
It is way back but a magnificent video
Thank you. I am working on the 2018 version. Stay tuned.
