- I was going back and forth with which TV to finally buy. The Samsung QN90B outshined in every category. I wanted something that would play well with my PS5 so gaming and vibrant imaging was a must ✔️. Refresh rate for Sports, Games and Movies ✔️. Bright vivd screen due to a natural lite sun filled room ✔️. Sound is a must and this gets a huge ✔️. Finally TV size, because I wanted a home theater since being home seems fun now lol.. My 85" model arrives Thursday and is also replacing a 65". Of course I've compared the measurements but seeing them next to each other - wow! Great video, the spatula was appreciated and inspiring. Hopefully the wound healed properly 😂

I love this TV I can't even express how much 😂 🤯 Huuugggeee game changer! Even my game play is better, I just thought I was always bad just turns out the TV plays a big part to the bad game play 🤣... I have to admit watching movies it's probably too detailed.. I couldn't believe what people actually looked like. Almost as if the TV I had before had a built in filter because it was so bad. Now I'm not surprised why actors and actresses wear so much makeup or fear the 4k 8k HD ... I've waited on this and put in the research.. I'll put a quick clip together for ya... but man you won't be disappointed! It's the best purchase I've ever made! Treat yourself! You won't regret it!!

Guy I love it... it's crazy going out and seeing other TVs and you're just like damn my TV is way better lol.. fair warning it was weird to see what people actually looked like cause the detail is wild! It adds years to the actors/actresses lol but gaming is a beast! OLed I know there are diehard fans but it just didn't make sense for me.. good luck man can't wait to hear your thoughts on it 💪
My LG oled B1 is 4 years old and still kicking and no burn in, occasional image retention in kids cartoons stuff only but gone right away when playing movies.
Ya I think it's more of a fear of the possible "chance" that stops people... people dish out a ton of money and any negative is gonna make them look elsewhere .. I know I did 😂
@@jeffcamara yeah exactly. I’m getting an OLED for my bedroom but I only ever watch tv on it at night for 2-3 hours. With my living room tv, I need it to be the QN90B because I’ll leave that on practically all day watching sports, news, etc.

Jeff, I've watched your videos on this tv and decided to order one today. It was hard to pass up... With my first responder discount I got the 85 inch QN90B for $1819. With tax and free shipping $1991! Hope I get a good one.
No way!! Guy, that's a steal!!! I legit paid double 🤣 worth every penny! I can't imagine this tv being any better unless you can grab the food off the screen or step onto the set 😂... I hope you love it! Just be aware that people are going to look different due to the detail lol It took me getting used to what people actually looked like.
@@jeffcamara I was thinking about the 77 inch S95C but it would have cost $3,000 more. I just couldn't justify this cost difference. I mean, I could buy two 85 inch QN90Bs and still have money left over compared to the S95C.
Also a great tv.. Im not sure of your setup at home, but for me, being in a bright room, it was a must for me to get the qn90b. Supposedly, this s95c is a huge step up too for bright rooms, but ahhh, I can't help but go with vivid picture and game features for me.. and now with how much youtube I watch, they've got the "promo" logo in most videos, burn in scares me at 3k 💰... lol
@@jeffcamara yes. Burn in is still a risk with oled. The 77 inch S95C is $4,500 plus tax! I just couldn't justify that much money when I can get this 85 inch QN90B for $1,819. That's a huge cost difference.

Please help with installing Samsung qn90b on 65 inches. Why is it better to put it with the display down to install the stand if it is not possible to put it on the table, as indicated in the instructions? I planned to put it on the sofa, having previously laid a blanket, but then I read that it was impossible to put it on the sofa, because due to the softness of the sofa pillows there would be uneven pressure on the matrix, which could cause damage to it. Maybe it's better to put it in a box? And if on the box, then where to put the packaging foam, the box from the TV is completely without rigidity.
I wouldn't lay it on anything! Don't create pressure points on the screen. For me laying it face down would do that and it makes it harder to lift. Who knows maybe that's why so many people have screen issues. If the TV doesn't support itself like mine did in the video, I'd take 2 pieces of the foam from the top and put it on the floor. Lift it out of its box and face the TV towards the wall and place it on the foam pieces on the corners of the TV. When lifting try not to curl your fingers onto the screen when lifting to avoid damage. You'll need help with this because the stand is heavy. Once you place the TV on the foam pieces lightly rest to upper portion against the wall so the TV rests on the foam pieces leaving a gap in the middle to slide in the stand. Laying the TV on its front won't work because there's an overhang with the stand so it will cause pressure on the screen and maybe damage it. So to me this is the best way to do it.. then you'll slide the stand under and lift it onto its slots. Make sure the second person is there to support the TV so it doesn't slip or move.. it needs to be supported as you put the stand on.

I love this tv. Only thing is that it's super bright at night it will legit light up a room. But it does have an auto setting for that reason but when you switch from modes it takes a quick second to adapt to the lighting of the room. I put some videos together for game settings and normal TV viewing. Blooming isn't an issue with this tv. I guess it depends on where you live too because euro models are different than the US models .. the only time I ever see a blooming issue is with logos but that's due to the recording setting because you never see those issues during film, tv shows, etc.. they are way cheaper now but I'd still pay the full price I did for it. It's worth every cent!

Let me know how it goes! Remember to check the panel and when you put it together don't grab it by the edges so you don't damage the panel.. sometimes we're the issue lol. The stand is heavy so have someone help you if you're lifting it to place. The box comes ready for you to put it together and place the stand on while the foam pieces hold the TV up. Makes it way easier
I don't remove most of the protective film/pieces until I turn it on and make sure it actually comes on and looks like its working.

Why did you get 85 and not 75? What distance from the TV to the couch and to the eyes level when you are streaming anything? I'm debating between 75 and 85, but not sure what size to go for.
Always go bigger! 😂🤷♂️ I have it on one of my videos, but I think I'm 9ft away.. the TV is at eye level.. it's not hung up or anything, so I don't have to look up.. it's at direct eye level when seated or even lying down. Gaming has been amazing, plus the larger size makes it even easier for some games. There is no issue with judder in gaming, even being kinda close to the TV.. I'd go 85 all the way, but then again, it depends on your room and setup

Nothing to do with price! Everything to do with it's performance! When I bought it, it was at its highest price $4,000 I believe .. I'd buy it again.

Enjoy it brotha!! Euro models are different! Maybe you guys get the same ones as US?? Just make sure when you open it not to put pressure on the edges and do not lay it down on its screen to put the stand on. It's a sensitive panel. Do a panel test on it once you set it up
I have a friend who really wanted a TV but not to spend much money on it and I sold him my Samsung QLED q80t from 2020. It was a awesome TV but the UI interface when navigating felt kind of laggy and you have to keep pressing the button on remote sometimes over and over. Does this TV use that same tizen processor? How's the response when navigating on the UI menu? And is the picture quality and sound good? Thinking about getting this model
It is the same but updated. I haven't had any lag issue besides this one time I turned off the TV in game mode and turned it back on it was laggish but that was the only time. The picture is incredible and can't be beat.. it's pretty wild how detailed it is. The sound is good but not great .. you really need a sound bar for bass.. but then again, it's almost been a year owning and still haven't gotten a sound bar lol 🤷♂️🤷♂️ .. so maybe it's not a must but I'd like more bass

This might be the last of QLEDs this year before Samsung shifts focus to OLEDs. QLEDs might get discontinued. So this is definitely the model to get. Good thing about these TVs is its color accuracy and superb brightness and contrast. Definitely might get a soundbar with it too

@@jeffcamara Lmao you're right now everybody's going to go grab it for this price haha. I'm starting to see those top of the line QLED models going much cheaper in price since they're shifting to OLEDs and the QLEDs are getting a little bit older, so big deals always hit on them. I was very impressed with the QN90B when I saw it in the stores of how bright it is and the contrast was great,and even the deep black levels looked almost like an oled for much cheaper price.
Yeah to me they should keep doing these Neo QLED/mini LEDs because OLED TVs, no matter what brand they are are, still suffering from burn in or image retentions if not used properly the right way over time, and manufacturers don't cover that in the warranty. I'm waiting for this issue to be resolved so I could switch away from qled someday in the future since Oleds look amazing. Wow you paid $3700 for the QN90B? Well for the enormous size you got it for, is worth every penny. Since this is a great TV!!! definitely the best qled of 2022👌
The brightness is wild! I sometimes have to dim it cause at night it lights up the room like it's daylight out! It's insane! But at least they let you control the settings! I love the qleds they have come such a long way compared to oleds and you don't have to worry about the burn in and glare as you do with oled
Quick question. Could you tell me what tv stand you are using for this tv? The TV weighs more than 100 lbs it seems like.
To be 100% honest with you.. it's a bookshelf from ikea 😂 I simply put it on it's side... it's super sturdy... I'll look for the link and attach it... think it goes great being lower to the floor and the TV ends up at your eye level instead of looking up and getting a kink in your neck...

Incredible TV, Mini LED > OLED any day. Time to get a proper sound system now! Even a nice sound bar makes a huge difference.
Guy this TV is amazing! It kinda weirds me out how detailed it is and how horrible people look lol no wonder actors and actresses hate HD.. the old TV was a natural filter .. gonna record all my UA-cam videos in basic SD not to scare myself lol

The plastic that goes all around the TV? I actually left all that on to keep it lookin new. 😂

Thanks for the comment i have no idea what I'm doing but I'll try lol..Good question though really came down to performance... even last years model didn't win me over due to sound, dse and blooming.. OLED wasn't going to do it for me too due to the large windows and I wasn't hearing great reviews with tvs keeping up with the capability of the ps5. Then this guy rolled in, the qn90b and it checked all the boxes for me.. really seemed like Samsung cleaned up its issues it had with the qn90a ... Now, why not choose the 95b over the 90b... the 10watt difference isn't going to change my life.. but the price of the 95b will and it is through the roof compared to the 90b and you get practically all the same features.. just didn't make sense to me to dish out more money... I'm cheap 😆

Oh man, hope you feel better.. ya sounds like lots of people are getting respiratory illnesses..time of the year I guess... remember the TV box unfolds and you're able to place the stand on while it's on the Styrofoam! Just make sure you have someone with ya to lift it so you're not putting pressure on edge of the TV that ends up with any defects...I'm a bigger guy and i was tempted to do it on my own.. dont! Thanks brotha! Ya there's a mouse pointer it's integrated on the remote when you browse online etc.. along with auto selection by going up and down and side to side... it's smooth and not jumpy. There isn't a mouse selection on media or gaming screens though, it just moves from selection to selection

Are the screen edges black in color and uniform in width on all four sides?
Sure is! I was looking for that too due to pressure points etc... but the color shines through and the blacks are black.. maybe I'll toss a video together since people are thinking of getting it for black Friday

The stand is the heaviest part but I didn't lift it alone to get it on the entertainment center... I'd def suggest getting someone to help lift so you don't put pressure on the screen's edges

Ya main reason I didn't even bother with the A. Samsung fixed a bunch of glitches including panels/DSE and blooming, so the B is the way to go! The B already dropped in price too. Mine was 3,600 and it's now going for 2,999.. might even drop for black Friday
@@jeffcamara it will never drop in price anytime soon due to the above mentioned facts plus the newly implemented QD oled has image retention issues already , 8 k makes no sense too so that makes the q90b the true flagship
