learned from your video that diffusing sun light at an angle gives a very flattering look . but the stand for diffuser looks fragile . i mean can it sustain winds ??
You really need to be careful placing diffusion above talent at any time, but especially in wind. The safest way is to 'manbag' it and have someone stand on it the whole time.
Thanks! I have both and use both. The big advantages of the v-mount brick battery is that it is much high capacity, it is cheaper per Watt hour, it can be used to power other accessories like the monitor and it gives weight at the back of the camera to balance when hand held. I usually use a combination.
Thank you so much for your reply! I'm just about to purchase the C200 (through your amazon link of course) for short doc, content videos and videoclips but then the Sony A73 with 120fps and autofocus come out. Do you have any advice undecided buyers like me ?
I haven't shot with the A7iii, or much sony stuff for that matter, but it looks like a great camera for under 2k (or 1/4 the price of the c200!). Couple of points 1) Sony's autofocus is brand new and not as tested as the Canon system, which is 5 years old now. 2) a7iii is a mirrorless DLSR, not a cinema camera - its not really designed for video operators 3) There are a lot more lenses for EF mount than Sony, especially in cinema glass, though this is changing. 4) doesn't shoot internal Raw, but is limited to 8bit. Hope that helps!
Last setup was the best imo, thanks for the knowledge.
Love your videos I hope you can do one when you explain how to color the footage!
shooting in interiors and wanting to mimic daylight . what is the best lighting set up and also camera settings for the same ??

Beautiful!
freaking brilliant! thank you!
It low key didn’t look bad when he took the diffusion away
Hi, very nice video!: Can I ask you why did you use a brick battery instead of the canon small battery for the C200 ?
