I do not normally comment twice on a video, but the way you mentioned washed out, and then explained it made me feel like even if I was 10 years ago I would have continued watching your video you ramp it up appropriately

Ive just did this on a sunset photo I took in a local park. I thought it was nice before but now the colours are so nice and warm. Thanks
Is there a way to save the process so in future I can just select a button or something and it will do all the steps by itself?

      Thanks!
I'm amazed at all the things you can do with the GIMP to improve images.
My edits are typically a bit different for each image but I do write down "My Recipes" as I call then in a text file so I can refer back to them in the future.
GIMP does have a facility for Macros which may be what you're looking for.

      I hope that helps.

@@tinkerzlab thank you for that put unfortunately I don't think that link would be any good for me as I do not know code and that seems to point to writing code to do macros

But writing it down may be a good idea

how do you get the slider to go from 0-255? on mine it goes from 0-100 when using cr2 files. it only displays a proper 0-255 range and a histogram for jpegs.

      Hi Andrew!
There must be something odd with the CR2 files.
My camera also creates CR2 Files but I convert them to PNG before loading them in GIMP.
Here is a link to a program that does the best conversion of RAW format CR2 files to PNG, JPG, or any other format.
Try it out and see what you think.
Convert them before loading them in GIMP.
