Fall in America: Pumpkins Patch, cool pictures, pumpkin spice latte, Halloween (!!!),.. My fall (aka fall in Italy): cold, humidity, a mist who made mistborn mist looking like a cute cloud,.. Despite that, I love fall tags! 😍
@@thecoolpineapple93 haha I'm more related to your fall! My fall (Israel): 30-35°c, the weather will probably start cooling down only around mid November..
I'm listening to The Diviners on audiobook right now and plan to continue the series throughout the season. Also, there are four books to the series! ❤ Happy Fall! 🍃 🍂
@@PeruseProject You will honestly LOVE the voices that she gives the characters. The male voices are a little cheesy, but it gives you the "razzle dazzle" vibe of the prohibition era that I absolutely live for. And it will absolutely creep you out and chill you to the bone at times. I highly recommend the audiobook experience.
PeruseProject I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to finish that book. This just reminded me I still haven’t. Whenever I rent the audiobook I never finish it in time... I think I had less than an hour left last time😂 all things aside it’s really good tho
Having a cup of tea, relaxing and reading while it's raining and gloomy out right now is the best and it's really making me read more ❤️ I'm listening to the Stormlight archives now on audiobooks too and I'm reading the second book of Wheel of time right now 🤯😍 For some reason fall makes me want to read really thick fantasy novels ❤️
It's quite good. Enjoy the male narrator more than the female part of it, but it's nice to be able to do things while listening 🙈 book like this takes me a long time and since I'm in the middle of Wheel of time, I don't have the capacity😂 I think that I recommend.
I love howl moving castle and morrigan crow! I wasn t much of a middle grade reader until i started watching your channel. Thank you so much for showing me that middle grade are for adult too!
I've really started to enjoy mornings too lately. I've recently started getting out of bed before 5 so I can have an extra bit before work to read a book or something. It's really been a game changer!
You are literally the textbook definition of fall vibes... lol! It’s my favorite time of year and we just went through a horrific hurricane here in Louisiana and all of my town the the surrounding towns are demolished 🙁but we are being blessed now with cool weather and sunshine. ☀️ your videos give me all the fall feels and just put me in a good mood. Thank you 😊
I need me a spooky book to read this month for sure. Coffee and tea is a must when reading for me. I have to get super comfy and of course I burn my buttery pumpkin candle whenever I can....Im about to need another one 😄
I read The Year of the Witching last month and I LOVED IT! I hope you'll love it as much as I did! 💛 I also loved your nail polish so much! Have been looking for a color like this for ages, but so far I haven't been successful 🤔😅
I just finished Night Film because of your recommendation and consistent praise, and HOT DAMN, it was so good. It's a bit of a slow burn, but in the best way. I am a huge wimp with scary things, and this was also borderline too creepy for me haha. I loved it.
The Diviners series is such a good fall read! As is Gideon the Ninth, which I’m reading right now. Speaking of great autumn reads, have you read the Lockwood & Co series by Jonathan Stroud, or Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury? Lockwood & Co is deliciously spooky and fun, and Something Wicked is my go-to fall recommendation - it’s just so captivating and lyrical. Thanks for putting out great content!
How do you feel good waking up that early is what I wanna know...My stomach really hates mornings...when I was younger, I would always puke in the morning. It's not like that anymore, but I'm still always nauseous even when I do eat breakfast. So, no. I don't believe you that mornings are great. Lol
Aww I love this tag! ❤️And fall of course 🥰 I cannot wait to move to the North and experience real fall because it’s a little lackluster here in Atlanta😂
Yay you mentioned Nevermoor, I’m reading Hollowpox right now! It’s such a delightful, fun and magical series and I love the magic and characters. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I cant really do this tag cos for me it’s spring now (yay Australia 😂) but imma live through your autumn vibes vicariously!
I've been reading the Serpent & Dove series. I wasn't sure I would like them, but I've been flying through them! The second one just came out too if you haven't already read those. :)
i’m currently reading ninth house. it isn’t like a traditional witch book which is super intriguing to me! it’s kind of a slow read so keep that in mind :)
Practical Magic and the sequel Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman (classic, Autumnal cozy witchcraft) or The Familiars by Stacey Halls (more historically accurate 17th century witchcraft)! Both amazing
Very slightttttttt amount of witch is Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult. It’s a modern day setting that features a bit of witchy things here and there if that’s the vibe you’re looking for! It was very interesting though and was a great read. I definitely recommend. A perfect cozy fall read :)
I feel like Ragan looked up synonyms for “suggest” prior to this video to spice it up. All I kept hearing was implore. I’m not saying this is a bad thing it just reminds me of myself when I do this for essays
Regan I never knew you were a fellow Gillie (Gilmore girls fan). Do you know of the hilarious (yet insightful) podcasts Gilmore Guys? It’s my current favourite.
Hey Regan, so my reading tast has changed a lot since i first started watching you, and its not similar to yours anymore. But i still love to watch your videos. That being said, can you make like, generic videos (like month favorites, house tour, a day in my life, etj) that are not directly related to books you read? Of course after asking other viewers if they would enjoy those stuff too.
Have you ever heard of Steven Erikson's The Malazan Book Of The Fallen? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it if you haven't read it, because it's far and away the most ambitious Fantasy series ever written. I think you could handle it because of how well read you are in Fantasy and this series IS NOT for the casual reader or people starting out in Fantasy. Erikson isn't an author who holds your hand, but rather, one who just drops you into his and Ian Cameron Esslemont's joint world and challenges you to hit the ground running and think on your feet. However, if you can hold your own in the early going and persist.... AN ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE WORLD OPENS UP. This series is a world-builders wet dream and the Malazan world feels like it’s bigger than the characters and stories in it. The battles between good and evil inside or outside of the individual are ultimately futile. The powerful forces of the world are indifferent and time, sooner or later, crushes everything to dust. Rather than focusing on a specific time period, it feels as if it’s inspired by nature, civilizations, and the passage of time. Erikson has a background in archaeology and anthropology and it has a strong influence on Malazan’s setting. This world is also arguably more complex, occasionally deeper culturally, geographically, anthropologically than Middle-Earth and it has a distinct feel and atmosphere that separates it from most other works in Fantasy. Malazan isn't plot-driven, but yet, this approach serves a purpose. Erikson might have chosen to stick to a few viewpoint characters to move their story forward more dynamically. However, this wasn’t his goal. It might be fair to say that the plot(s) in MBOTF books are just a means to an end: they allow you to get to know many different intriguing characters, feel the vast world from a lot of different viewpoints, and understand the overarching theme of the series better (civilization, history, war, compassion). This is a series that reads like a chronicle of events and has a Chain-link structure. For ex: the opening book Gardens Of The Moon takes place on the continent of Genabackis, while the second book "Deadhouse Gates" follows some characters from Gardens on a different continent (Seven Cities), the third book "Memories Of Ice" continues some of Gardens plotlines, the fourth book "House Of Chains" continues "Deadhouse Gates" story and the fifth book "Midnight Tides" sees the story shift TO ANOTHER continent, Lether and begins a new arc there. I'm oversimplifying, but Erikson showcases a grasp of history I have yet to see another author rival and all of these seemingly disparate plotlines converge in the end. THE MAGIC SYSTEM IS ALSO REALLY FASCINATING. There are a multitude of Warrens (25 in total), magical worlds that mages can draw power from to do stuff. Each warren has its own aspect. For example, Tellann is Fire, and Omtose Phellack is Ice, and Mockra is mind. There's also Chaos, which is the between worlds, and mages can draw on it as well, though it's more destructive and hard to control. Warrens can also be physically entered for various reasons, though it's dangerous. Some Warrens are also older than others and are racially exclusive. For ex: Tellann, one of The Elder Warrens, belongs to the T'lan Imass (Undead), Omtose Phellack, another of The Elder Warrens, belongs to the Jaghut (this series version of Orcs) and Mockra is one of The Paths, Warrens that humans created. The German name for this series translates to "GAME OF THE GODS" and that's a VERY accurate alternate name, because there are many Gods and Ascendants they use mortals as pieces in their games. Each God has a House and we see characters be recruited into these Houses to serve specific roles over the course of the series, because they have their parts to play in The Grand Conflict.
You look so cute modelling for the earrings!!!
