I all ready changed or update at my Vito 2008 the clock spring, and the cluster with two digital screens, and put the airbag withe buttons. I set the mileage to 0 and now i all ready have the cluster with the correct mileage with the EZS. Thank you for sharing.
Something I forgot to mention is that, when you are increasing the mileage on the EIS you do not need to zero out the instrument cluster, but you need to do that when you are reducing the mileage on the EIS.
Hello! Really Interesting video, so if the cluster have lower mileage than the EIS why didn’t it show the higher mileage from the EIS on the cluster automatically?
I plan to change my Low-line cluster to a High-line cluster, like the looks more of the High-line. So if I replace it with a lower mileage High-line cluster then on the mileage stored on my EIS will it then show the correct mileage on my cluster?
@@tobiaslangstrom3689 No. You'll need to zero out the mileage on the EIS, so when you put it back to the car it will sync itself to the mileage of the cluster. In your case the EIS has lower mileage than the cluster. As soon as you connect the cluster the EIS will sync to the cluster's mileage because the highest mileage WINS.
@@tobiaslangstrom3689 It should have done. In some cases you need a diagnostic tool to command the cluster to synchronise itself to the EIS or the cluster is not compatible.
Thanks. Nice video. I have a sprinter with changed eis. The eis has lower milage than cluster.. Eis has 230xxxkm. Cluster/sprinter has 340xxx. Cluster has only -------- where the odo goes. I also has 3-4 fault codes that are relatet to eis/cluster. Can i use Xentry to correct eis with cluster ? Thanks again for really helpful video. :)
