I know Logan has a past, but seeing as he's an actual father and the father figure to a lot of ppl (kitty, jubilee, x23, probably others I'm missing), but Logan isn't usually the one who advocates for killing children.
Logan ends up warming up to Hope too, granted it's after AvX and it's after both have returned back to the mansion to some form of normalcy... took a while because she was so similar and reminded him SO much of Jean that it honestly triggered some past trauma in Logan... and also the Phoenix was trying to use Hope as a catalyst that it never could with Jean Grey that would, as usual, end all life as we know it and needed to be stopped... but Logan always acts a little weird and disgruntled when working with The Avengers over The X-Men... The Avengers are like a job to him, and if they call him he's knows Steve or Fury is deep in some shit whereas the X-Men are his family and his safe space
Thats because Logan knows exactly whats at stake. Comics have a way of making nonsensical ending come into reality but in the real world Logan's philosophy would be the one that would save the world. He saw what the Phoenix force did Jean and all the damage it caused... Hope was a perfect vessel for it and if it decided to go on a rampage again with her as the host it would have likely ended just about everyone and with the exception of maybe Franklin Richards no one would ahve been able to stop it. This is a trend with Wolverine and I think its why hes so popular. He shows hes willing to make the hard choices others aren't even if he personally doesn't like it.
Logan never really hate kids or want to harm any children because he suffer though many wars and traumatic events that affects many. He also been around children as x-men that he witness shit that can be very impactful.
She asked him to. She said if she couldn't control the Phoenix she wanted him to do it. At least if I'm remembering correctly. And he does keep those kinds of promises, even if he doesn't like it.
Logan is not much of a hero, frankly. His solutions involves murdering folks, including children, a bit too often. He’s the best at what he does but what he does is not especially heroic “snikt!” Wolverine should never have been an Avenger.
I remember this Logan was such a hypocrite wanting to kill hope who did nothing wrong after complaining about how cyclops was treating the children in utopia

How does Cap win almost every altercation with him? *That* always rubs me the wrong way.
Because it’s easy to trap Logan into just reacting during a fight in a rage. Cap planned ahead and set up the victory from the start knowing he couldn’t take him 1 on 1.

It's not bad writing a lot of you people in the comments section don't even understand Cap or Wolverine. It doesn't mean that Cap couldn't win one on one it just means that Cap is going to take the easier option. Also Cap has made himself vulnerable in order to set somebody up lots of times in the past.
A lot of people think Captain America fighting powerful heroes is bullshit. I don’t. Wolverine has respect for Steve. That fight could have gone very badly for Steve, but Wolverine sliced his shield straps. Not his arm.
I really fuck with cap but he even listed wolverine as a highly skilled opponent that’s a level above himself, stronger and maybe faster. He needed help to put Logan down and 1vs1 with both going all out would be a really hard ass fight.
Cap all day. In his own way, Cap is as crazy, driven and obsessed as Batman. Both of them are hyper-focused on their "Missions". Failing is never acceptable to either one. They both control the Chess Board through prep, planning and use of any and all resources at their disposal. Their craziness forces them to be more than their enemies, even when and if their enemies outclass them. These are the kinds of characters that keep comic interesting. Wolverine can accept a loss, dust himself off and move on. Because, at his core, even with his abilities, Logan is written as an "average Joe", personality-wise. A down to earth guy with mutant powers and an extremely wild life. Cap and Bats cant accept failure, and their personalities dont allow themselves to be "normal" in any way. Cap is more insane than Logan, in his own way.
Cap is definitely the better fighter and tactician. Obviously if it was a one on one to the death though it be Wolverine winning. Well in specifically one on one in a open field. If there was a vat of Adamantium or Cap had say a weapon that negated healing factor... Mind I'm not discounting Wolverine as when written properly he is one of the best hand to hand fighters himself. Especially given his age and experience even eclipsing Steve's. Still It's obviously Steve's if on a even physical playing field is the better fighter and again in terms of tactics/strategy he is one of if not the best. If anything Wolverine is written to much in relying on his healing and near indestructible skeleton. Which has made him lose fights he realistically shouldn't. Mind like many heroes he has punched and won above his own weight class in terms of power.
@@sandmaker47 Cap being the better fighter is definitely debatable. Logan is highly trained and a hundred years older than Steve. Everyone makes it out like Cap is the better raw fighter but Logan's experience alone, even ignoring the years with Ogun as his sensei would make that a toss up.
@@sandmaker47 Cap has been at least back when I read comics from late 00s to early in top five hand to hand fighters in Marvel. He has bested in past Iron Fist, Daredevil, Black Panther, and etc. He even beat up Spider-Man in a fist fight with both holding back. Mind I have dropped comics the last decade plus so if the stories downgraded his abilities... That's another reason I dislike the current. Even in the few DC/Marvel cross overs he is seen a equal in martial arts to Batman. Who is seen in DC usually top five without powers/augmentation with Chi or alike. Mind Wolverine written at his best isn't a joke even if he had his healing factor reduced and lost his adamantium. It's why in my long reply outside of very specific scenarios that Cap vs Wolverine to the death would end with Cap dead.

@@ryuken338 Logan's healing factor, combat experience and berserker rage when it comes to that will still ensure his victory (he can somehow heal from fatigue for some reason) and Captain America can't heal lol

Great editions man!!!
AvX was such a good storyline.
Not sure this is how it should play out, but I dig the art. Nice music choice btw!
Love what you're doing with the comics.
He’s the best at what he does but what he does is not especially heroic “snikt!”
Wolverine should never have been an Avenger.
Absolutely love the music choice
I've always wondered, if you punch Wolverine in the face, wouldn't it be like punching an anvil?
Adamantium bones and all.
I remember this Logan was such a hypocrite wanting to kill hope who did nothing wrong after complaining about how cyclops was treating the children in utopia
If I remember correctly, Scott wanted child soldiers. Hope made Logan promise that if she couldn't control the Phoenix he'd kill her so she didn't hurt anyone. 2 very different situations. Both with different stakes too.
@@heavy5013 cyclops didn’t want child soldiers he wanted everyone to learn how to fight and defend themselves because there were only 200 of them left. Then when the hell fire brats we’re going to kill mutants one of the kids stopped it by killing. Hope only asked him after cap kick him out the plane for trying to kill her first.
@@elijahshaheed778 Not how I remember it, but whatever. One life to save trillions doesn't make Wolverine a hypocrite. Not that it matters much when the X-Men as whole are hypocrites these days.
@@heavy5013 kinda but they have done this before just never on such a large scale. Charles has given up on his dream multiple times and they have tried to separate themselves from others like living in a mansion with only mutants in it so I’m not that surprise things are like this now.

And having the X-Men do the exact opposite of what their supposed to stand for is the dumbest shit ever. AvX! Awesome storyline! 👍🏾

Wolverine couldn't have known how much Avengers comics were going to nerf the Phoenix
Why reupload with a different music that fight?
Cap being as strategic as ever. He knows a fight with Wolverine would be extremely high diff, and unnecessary, and even just hinder their plans. So he went with the quickest way to get rid of Wolverine. Throwing him out the craft.
Cap knows he can't beat wolverine
@@quinnbaygo2112 its not that deep. It's comics. And Cap isn't even that far behind in experience since he got 100 years of experience due to Korvac looping him back, and also has over a decade of experience stuck fighting in dimension z.

@@fork6057 nah, wolverine had gone toe to toe with the hulk many times and beat him a few times, cap ain't got a chance against wolvie 1on1
@@toxicjutz1168 then why'd he lose to cap this time? A win is a win my friend.
He never stood a chance.
So I know Cap is supposed to be peak human and all, but even without the claws or metal Logan has over 100 years combat experience, heightened senses, feral speed, and a healing factor (that also helps him gain strength beyond peak human). How does Cap win almost every altercation with him? *That* always rubs me the wrong way.
Well, there's leverage, momentum, outsmarting, preying on his flaws, etc. Fights are more than powers dude.
Because it’s easy to trap Logan into just reacting during a fight in a rage. Cap planned ahead and set up the victory from the start knowing he couldn’t take him 1 on 1.
I think the main reason you think this is because a big misconception, Captain American is not peak human despite what people say, he is a meta human, Batman is peak human. Captain America is enhanced by a drug.
You forget logan is animalistic with a temper the size of Texas and its literally so easy to piss him off
@@animationat47st33 fair. I havent read too many Cap comics, but I get mixed messages from people. Some say the serum only puts him at peak human, and he got a huge buff in the MCU. I'm willing to learn from folks who know more about the character than myself.
The Vet vs. The Vet

I didn't delete that I don't think! Should still be there !
Ahh a classic match up, my friend and I use to debate about this nearly everyday through highscool. My favourite is wolverine and his is cap. They have the best fights. Is that’s death note remix?
That's one thing I don't think the movies ever capture is how capable a martial arts Logan is.
The fact that they kicked The Wolverine out of a flight 10000 metres up in the air when Wolverine's few fears include the fear of flying.. damn Cap went raw dog on Logan
The needs of the many...

It's not bad writing a lot of you people in the comments section don't even understand Cap or Wolverine. It doesn't mean that Cap couldn't win one on one it just means that Cap is going to take the easier option. Also Cap has made himself vulnerable in order to set somebody up lots of times in the past.
To be honest, hero on hero fights were fun at first but that was a long, long time ago

I don’t think steve has the capacity to knock logan out with just his fist cause of the adamantium skull. Maybe with a choke hold?
What do u expect? Its Logan, of course captain has to play dirty
That reminds me ..Didn't they reference Logan in The first Captain America movie..Or am I thinking of one of the comics?
Weapon I vs Weapon X
Great figth !
You can't stop wolverine....no one can only death.
Did they just jump Wolverine 😂
They had to 😅.
Wolverine is just literally trying to murder him, lol
A few more minutes of that fight and cap would’ve been stabbed.
Cool all the annoying intangibles stuff aside, cap is getting his ass absolutely handed to him
Why can't people credit the original comic 😡
Why can't people look at the description 😡
@@FernandoComicsOfficial Captain America Fights Dirty - Captain VS
Wolverine..this is the only title I see and I can't find the associated comic...
Tactician, definitely. Fighter, debatable. I think the idea of a grand Master Logan wouldn't fit in with where he's popular, being the wild card.
It's why in my long reply outside of very specific scenarios that Cap vs Wolverine to the death would end with Cap dead.
iirc Logan is a master at all or near all martial arts on Earth, while Cap is only stated to be adept at all martial arts. So in the h2h skill parameter, Logan takes that
@@VanTesla daredevil in hand to hand in almost any run is a no contest as well as the fact that the difference between spiderman and cap holding back is cap holds back how friends would with one another, and spidey holds back like always how an adult would with a kid

Sorry, if your in a fist fight with Wolverine, nothing is a dirty fight.
I think thats why Wolverine is a bit more of a brawler rather than a honourable fighter. His opponents just need to drop their sportsmanship in a fight and if everyone does that you cant be bothered keeping the fight "clean"
One right shot and the cap is dead
The cap got saved by the bell.😅
Well hey it's not like Wolverine lost that fight, Cap was not pulling a W.
