Great video! Cleidocranial Dysplasia is the condition that Dustin from Stranger Things has! He even made a comment in the show about how he has no clavicles.
You literally saved our group I have less than 12 hours for the final exam and your videos made me comnect everything in my mind big thanks bro i hope you get the best .... Iraqi dentistry student 🖤🇮🇶
Thank you for making these videos. I went through all of your oral path videos and practice questions. I'm not a dental student but am a dental hygiene student preparing for NBDHE, and I find it SUPER helpful.
Thku so much... It is best to read hear than to make yourself sit before books... You covered the most important points that's interesting... Thanku Ryan for helping kids all around the world😇
Thank you so much for the presentations! I love that you have example pictures of each condition but it would help a lot if you could include histological pictures of each condition as well. It helps to further understand. Thanks again!!
Thank you for this. I was waiting each day as you posted. Really gives a good general background for the lesions. Great baseline to study from. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thanks for your time! Was really structured and ideal for revising. I have a viva exam coming up in 2 days and will be leaning on your slides a great deal!
Thank you SO much for this series ! It was just what I needed to review Oral Pathology as my exam is next week !!! very helpful and great explanations and I'm looking forward to that bonus video !
Hey Ryan, in regards to the way to remember type 1 and type 2 of the dentin dysplasia we have found that chevron is type one and type 2 is the short roots so we are a little confused ... could you confirm that for us please? Thank you.
Isn’t twinning a complete division of one tooth bud, resulting in a supernumerary tooth???? I don’t think germination and twinning are the same, please confirm thanks for all the videos lol
Great video series! I just don't understand the thing you said for Dentin dysplasia, how one finger makes you think of roots and type II is like a chevron. Is that because Type 1 has short roots and Type II has the chevron?
Just a heads up, Regional Odontodysplasia isn't hereditary. I saw a practice question that asked which condition wasn't hereditary, and RO was the answer. I confirmed by looking it up in the Neville textbook
There were a couple of times you said there were multiple questions on a subject but only had a couple of facts on the slide. For example, Cleidocranial dysplasia you only mentioned it was autosomal dominant, missing clavicles and supernumerary teeth. Were the questions asking the same thing? Should we no more about this subject?
Which is the most common hereditary condition ?? Which is the most common developmental condition ?? If anyone from mental dental could please reply ??
Hey Harpreet, those are difficult questions to answer because it depends on the scope of conditions you are considering. I would say of the conditions tested on the board exam, clefting is the most common developmental condition (it is the most common facial birth defect) and hypodontia is the most common hereditary/genetic condition affecting nearly 5% of the population to some degree.

The opposite is true! Type 1 is the radicular type and Type 2 is the coronal type.

Hold up 1 finger, looks like a tooth root. Hold up 2 fingers, forms a V (chevron)!
