    Hi Dr.Ryan thanks for all your help with prep for dental interviews.Any idea about how to treat hypersalivation I was wondering if saliva clearance is my oroblem.some years ago I had anterior crowns repleced at UR1 UL1 UL2 fused porcelain bonded crowns to close diastemata and improve aesthetics.I can assiciate the salivation with the timing of the insertion of the crowns.I would love to get your opinion and keep up the excellent work

    I would like to know why insufficient vitamin D can cause Hyperparathyroidism, you said earlier that vitamin D function is to send calcium from intestine to blood system. If vitamin D is insufficient there hasn't to be Hyperparathyroidism

      @jeremysananes7917 2 роки тому +3

      low vitamin D = low calcium absorption from intestine to the blood = low serum calcium
      the response of the parathyroids is: increase PTH release = increase calcium removal from bones = increase serum calcium;
      so low levels of vitamin D stimulate the parathyroids to release increased amounts of PTH, hence the secondary hyperparathyroidism
