    On a different topic. In Batocera, for games like street fighter etc are we supposed to map the 8 way joystick other than the cardinal directions?

    • @ShowtimeGaming101
      @ShowtimeGaming101  26 днів тому

      When mapping it makes no difference for 4-way or 8way. Refer to the following video

    do you think there will ever be a mod for the 1up light gun cabs?

    • @ShowtimeGaming101
      @ShowtimeGaming101  24 дні тому +1

      @@jecobian absolutely. It’s the same exact setup. This setup has light gun games as well.
      You can also make a custom control deck and buy the light guns to fit in the control deck.

    What is the benefit of ordering a mini PC vs the Raspbery Pi? I noticed quite a price difference.

      Raspberry Pi is quite laggy.

      RasPis are very basic System on Chips (SoCs), that run some form of android/linux As opposed to a PC...that's well a PC. If you've ever built a Desktop, a mini pc is the same thing, just smaller, and depending on the form factor of the motherboard, less upgradable. People who opt for the RasPi tend to do so for it's lower cost, power consumption, very small size, and fairly quick startup. People who opt for PCs, do so for more power, capability, and more assess to emulator and if desired, the ability to play more modern games, such as those on the steam marketplace. In short, the RasPi is the cheap, entry level option for modders. A PC, is the more expensive, but more premium performance option for modders.

      @@ragingtyga A mini PC would be easier to setup. It’s prebuilt and usually has Windows preinstalled. Any person can essentially get through the initial Windows setup. Raspberry Pi requires some knowledge of Linux/Android and command line experience. You have to install the OS to a microsd, place the board in a custom case if that’s your desire and further config your setup to get anything up and running. Even watching a simple UA-cam video at 1080p60fps seems like a chore to the raspberry pi 5.

      @@vitaAutLetum ehhh depends. There's tons of RasPai plug n play builds out there. Some you just plug in a USB and you're done

      Good question. Our raspberry pi 4B plays up to the Dreamcast, ps1, n64, psp era and older generations with no issues.
      The mini pc will have more games as it is more capable of playing newer consoles without much hesitation. Those consoles would include GameCube, ps2, Wii, wiiu and the majority of those games can be played at 720p mostly without much issue and in some cases 1080p

      is the volume loud enough? I had an issue before where I could barely hear anything

      @@cmoney2 yes, using the factory speakers. If it’s loud enough before the mod it should be just as after the mod.
