I have been using this your method of cooking okro soup whether it is seafood okro or not and it has never failed to bang. You are my favorite ❤. This method made my husband love okro soup so much
Interesting combination. Here in the United States Southern culture the okra would be sliced into "wheels" (not chopped). There wouldn't be so much oil, but a lot of tomatoes would be added to the pot instead. My grandmother used to make a stew using beef, corn, tomatoes and okra; and she made cornbread on the side. Despite the differences, I can see in the similarities, influences from our ancestral African culinary heritage.
I am not a great cook as a new wife/mom so your recipes has been helping especially since I’m based in Ireland 🇮🇪 and don’t have relatives to show me how to cook 🇮🇪👍🏾
Always Love watching your videos from uni days in the Uk. I have all your books in both hard copy and soft copy and I can’t wait to try making this. Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and tips on meal prep. I’m always in awe of your contents. I’m very ghanaian but love everything Nigerian. ❤❤❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗 Thank you SisiYemmie😘
I really enjoyed your recipe!! Fish cooked in a sauce like you did the first part looks delicious! I would like to try to make a stewed fish dish with rice. Keep your segments coming! Thanks for sharing. 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
SisiYemmie please how did you get that crab meat? I'll appreciate it if you can provide details. I love the taste of crabs in my seafood Okra but I really can't state all those bones. This looks like a great alternative and it will taste great too.
Okro soup. The best.A friend once told me that her sister husband mentioned to her that when they get married she shouldn’t cook Okro soup for like 1year because he don too chop am as a bachelor 😂.That’s how easy Okro soup is to make and yummy.
I make my okra with shrimps, blue crabs, beef bones and crawfish (No fish). I clean the crabs by just taking off the top shell, clean the inside and then cut it in half. I love sucking the okra soup juices from the legs. It's so sweet.
This is how normal human being should cut okra not the one look like shit, no crunchy in it and that round shape i hate it very well 😅 The soup look very good ❤
