  • Dr. Marianne Korosy, recently retired as Director of Bird Conservation for Audubon Florida, had the good fortune to visit West Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands. In this presentation on Bird Chats with Orange Audubon Society, Marianne will lead us through sights and sounds of wildlife in the western Southern Ocean, with a focus on birds and whales.
Marianne started working with the shorebird protection programs of Clearwater and St. Pete Audubon and joined Audubon Florida directing these programs in 2009. She earned her Ph.D. at University of Central Florida in conservation biology.
