Sir David Attenborough, I have been watching your brilliant shows since I was a child and am now sixty-eight and still think you are a Genious about the Natural World
The way giant tortoises seek shade is truly fascinating! 🐢 While animal attacks might be more dramatic, watching these slow giants cleverly find shelter from the sun is a peaceful reminder of their unique survival strategies. 🥰🥰
I just want to be on the photography side of this team. That would be a dream come true. Good lord this footage is gorgeous. Sir Attenborough is a pleasure as always. Well done BBC Earth and all involved. ❤
The sight of a marine iguana diving into the ocean and charging through a school of fish is one of the most spectacular moments ever captured on film. It's like a real-life Godzilla!
Fire ants' living raft to avoid flooding is a remarkable example of nature's collaboration. Similar to the marine iguana, species thrive in distinct habitats due to unique adaptations. This narrative educates and promotes awareness about climate change and human activity's effects on wildlife. It emphasizes the interconnection of all life and the urgent need to save these amazing animals and their habitats. Thanks for sharing this fascinating look into nature!♥❤♥
wow, this video really captures the beauty of nature in such a stunning way! I appreciate the effort that goes into filming these scenes. however, I can't help but wonder if the focus on pristine landscapes sometimes overshadows the environmental issues we're facing. shouldn't we also highlight the challenges that threaten these extraordinary places?
As others have said that Hyena track shot is just pure masterpiece. Also looked like it caught a horn in the mouth / tongue for it's trouble! Incredible.
The video is truly impressive with beautiful scenes and a profound message! Thank you to the team for their hard work to bring such a meaningful work. Hope to see more quality videos from you!

Thank you for posting these wonderful videos. I'm from Tamil Nadu, India, and I would like to kindly request BBC to consider releasing these videos with Tamil translations. My mother, like many others, would love to watch them, but the language barrier is restricting her access to this important content. Many of my friends and neighbors in the UK have expressed how Sir David Attenborough’s voice and vision have significantly influenced their understanding of biodiversity. His work has sparked a greater awareness of nature and conservation. I personally feel that my journey in supporting nature has been delayed because of the lack of such accessible content in my language. If these videos were available in Tamil, I believe it could inspire a whole new generation of young people in my community to engage with environmental issues, both locally and globally. This awareness is crucial for our planet’s future. Thank you for considering this request.😀
Just a suggestion. Seeing how you are very well spoken and written I would like to politely suggest that you be the instrument of your desire. Voice overs may not be neccessary if there were captions. Many people today enjoy watching foreign films and anime through the reading of captions in thier native languages. I, myself, am one of them. Almost anyone can take simple video editing software and learn how to add captions to a program. Though doing so may seem tedious and time prohibitive, this labor of love can open up a world of environmental conciousness to not only you mother but many others who speak your native language. You can be the one to change lives. To be honest, creating a voice over may be even easier. Do some research and instead of requesting that the BBC take on something that you can do, just do it. If that seems like to much, seek out independent film makers or college students studying film who know Tamil and ask for thier assistance. When done, ake sure all credits are given and send a copy to the BBC. Who knows, you may find this to be your calling and bring abundant joy not only to others but to youself also. Good luck and God Bless.
The way blue whales open their massive mouths to hunt small fish is fascinating! 🐋 The sheer size and power of these creatures in action feels like watching a scene from Animal Attacks in the deep sea!
things I learnt from this video... 1) For everything in life, there is a price. 2) There is a God who brilliantly designed and created this universe. 3) Nature is beautiful and Cruel, we all get punished for our mishaps, here or hereafter.
How is it that bird can dive up for a minute and iguana 30 minutes underwater and most of the humans can barely do it for 30 seconds. I am fascinated. And envious. I want to be that iguana.
@11:55 I’m really getting tired of getting this speech, IMHO we as individuals can only recycle so much plastic, what gets me is the ones they should be addressing to make the biggest changes are the ones creating the plastics to begin with but what do I know I’m just one consumer amoung billions
Every person can only do so much, but if we want the ways of how we as humanity trash the environment to change, we can influence the powerful to do so. By buying or not buying stuff and by voting.
China, Indonesia and the Philippines, Vietnam, are the worst plastic polluters BY FAR, but gullible Westerners turn themselves into herd ninnies over plastic straws.
They should be giving the speech to India and China where their idea of recycling is filling entire rivers with as much as they can and letting it wash out into the ocean.
The video is great. Can't say the same about the audio. The narrator's voice is too quiet and is hard to hear. Obviously, there is a problem with the audio. Maybe using a narrator with a stronger voice will help. I know this narrator is very famous, but I do not think his voice is OK anymore. Or maybe the problem is in the editing
I wonder if the clips are cut just short on purpose…😆 I wanted to see that ant get rescued by its fellow ants. I wanted to see that cold iguana get to bask a moment in the warm sun.

Sir David is a national treasure ❤️
anyone else narrating a nature documentary seems weird to me frankly
Hmmm 🤔then how old is sir David now???

They have centuries more experience than their predators. Aren’t they the oldest living creatures? Like dinosaurs? Love the sea turtles too.
I wish someone would install large tents or some structure closer to the water for them to find shade under!
Honestly even watching this on lower video quality is still a treat for the eyes.
BBC you have released another quality video, thanks to the great team!!!

love how they swim - looks fabulous too!
yeah, marine iguanas are so cool, and their ability to dive and hunt in the ocean is truly impressive
