I moved my key switch to my left fender and the N, R, and Temp lights to the top of the grill today on my 04. The previous owner put pro taper handlebars on it and the factory plastic piece that they are in was just flopping around unsecured, only being held on by the wires for the lights and key.
I had that same issue when I first got this quad. Check out my new video on the frame, I had it sand blasted and powder coated
@@fearless1931 Yeah I watched it. I couldn't imagine taking mine all the way apart and going months without it if it was still running. It's going to be sick, but I couldn't do it lol. My carb definitely needs to be cleaned but I don't think I trust myself to do it yet until it gets a little worse. I got mine on Feb 18th and have done a bunch of stuff since then to get it in a little bit better shape. Mine has the One Industries Bud Light graphics on it. I had never seen it until I found mine for sale. It definitely stands out. Google it and check it out if you've never seen it.
How did it run afterwards? Any issues with the aftermarket carb? Did it run well throughout the rpm range? Still running well today?
Great video dude, thanks for sharing. About to get started again on my 2004 660R. I need a new carb too, mice have damaged the oem one. Question, how’s that new carb you installed running these days? Figured it’s been a year, hopefully you can share some feedback. I’ve heard mixed reviews on those $50-60 aftermarket carbs with dyna jet kit. Let us know if ya don’t mind!! Your raptor looks awesome btw, great work. Hope mine comes out half as good! Haha

I believe I picked it up from DennisKirk.com but I’m not finding it on their site. If I end up finding it I’ll post it
What main jet is on the low side of the carb ?
I wrote them on the instructions paper and can’t find it. If you are installing Dynojet kit send me an email I might be able to help you out

I found the paper, I used DJ146 for low side and DJ148 in high. For the Dynojet kit
@@fearless1931 hey I have the same bike and I have sparks exhaust and I put #170 main jets but when I’m in full throttle it sputters and backfires would going lower on jets like u did would it work?
@@xxjsgamer2778 I can’t say it will work for sure but might be worth a shot. I haven’t had any problems in high side w the DJ148
