It really makes me wonder how the hell did he go from painting beautiful scenery to the abstract style, like, what was he thinking? Did he think, I know the rules now I'm going to break them just to see what would happen?

You got to see Yves Klein's work, then. I struggle with abstract art, but struggle is sometimes a good thing.
