- After 40k+ miles and 5 years, I thought I would give you my thoughts on this Rough Country 4.5 X-Series lift kit.
Five years ago, the kit looked a little different. Now, by 2020, they have made many improvements and it looks to be a better kit.
Although I have had some issues over the past 5 years, this kit has allowed me to go on some epic trips. This is also my first Jeep build, so I can't regret any mods I have made because it's all been a learning experience.
If this video helped you out, give it a thumbs up. Consider subscribing as well as I plan on making more XJ content. Thanks! - Авто та транспорт
I plan on getting the RC 4.5 inch long arm kit and upgrading it as it fails. Right away, I know I want to get rid of the stupid Y-Link stuff which eliminates a lot of complications with the XJ. Essentially, the RC lift kit is a great starting point. It comes with enough parts to get you into the game and enough to keep wanting to upgrade constantly like all the other Jeep owners.
Great and candid review.
@5:29 Nice Hat
i have those drop down brackets on the front of mine and i hate them it defeats the lift thats why im looking into a 4.5 long arm from bds
Mine can still flex pretty well, that being said if I had a time machine I would get long arms
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
RC is junk.....
Have you had a RC lift before? What are the pro's and con's from your experience with them? It fits my budget
