i miss the show being about them. bree and the rest are interesting sometimes but it’s this couple that i’m truly invested in. 🥺🥺
Bree totally changed the dynamic
@@sophiemichelle3688 she did and not in a way i find myself enjoying often if i’m being honest
@@chance757 Hang in there, it’s relevant.
@@annerodgers4081 what is?
I feel the same way. Bree and Roger are so dysfunctional, in a very toxic way. I hope season 6 is invested back into Jamie & Claire. Roger is the worst character I swear I sometimes wish they’d finally kill him off
The finale of Season 2 will honestly remain unbeatable for me. The emotions, the heartbreak, the fear of the Battle of Culloden, the magic of the stones. I’ll never forget how I felt watching it!
I am literally in love with this man
I love the Jamie character
"Two-hundred years of purgatory." I'm crying so hard, I cannot handle this show.
Lord, you gave me a rare woman, and God, I loved her well 💔
This line. 🙌
😭
This scene just "tore my guts out" as Jamie once told Claire.
I am so thankful Claire returned to Franke to give him the marriage he was robbed of
@@thealphaandomega9348 worse thing to ever happen to the two of them. Claire didn't love him and they both suffered because of it.
@@thealphaandomega9348 the marriage was robbed to both of them by destiny and faith... But you can't repair something that is broken... Their marriage after Claire's return is only a path of pain and solitude for both 🤧🤧😭😭
Claire loving another man and not allowing his husband to touch her or any kind of intimacy and Frank fighting with the ghost of another man without be able to erase his memory in Claire's mind and heart and at the same time not wanting the divorce for fear of losing Brianna 🥺🥺🥺
(actually Claire would have never stole Brianna from him so he could have accepted the truth that their love and marriage was finished and could have agreed with Claire for the divorce much time before he did... Maybe he wouldn't have had the car accident and maybe he could have started a new life at Candy's side, a woman who was in love with him at the right time; but Frank decided to invest the rest of his life trying to find again the Claire of 1944/45, the Claire who was in love with him, without understanding that that Claire was dead and could never return 😭😭 SUCH A TRAGEDY)
@@santangelogaia19 imagine what thoughts were going through his head when he found the paper that showed Clair went back to Jamie
@@santangelogaia19 I partially agree with you, but I also really believe that Frank refused to give Claire a divorce just out of spite & to punish her. However, 20years is an awful long time to stay intentionally in an unhappy marriage, KNOWING there was a way out.....
i started watching this show for the first time after so many years of being told to and oh god, this scene ripped my heart out. when claire was getting closer to touching the stones and you can see jamie tearing up from behind that really hurt, such great acting from cait and sam all around
"Two hundred years of purgatory", Jaimies ghost watching Claire in 1st episode 😲
She’s is absolutely breathtaking in this scene.
The way they just stare at each other as he walks her backwards. 😭
That moment was 💔 and a true tear jerker 😭 and Sam and Cait ability with the on screen chemistry allows those long learying looks of love ❤️ and sadness 😢💔 to feel so real!! BRAVO 👏👏 Sam and Cait!!
They called it “the dance”, I’ve never seen such intense emotion between two actors. Ever. Their chemistry just ignites the screen, yet is so tender. No one else compares.
The way they looked at each other.. I really loved their love.
He looks absolutely stunning here
This is such a beautiful scene and I have cried over it many times and Jamie putting Claire first along with the baby that's a true man right there
I never, ever, get tired of watching this scene, with a couple of tears in my eyes at that.
One of the most beautiful and poignant scenes ever!
I loved this scene. I can’t hold my tears...
Sam and Cait are incredible actors... I love them both.
I don't think I could've done it...just bury me on the field of Culloden next to him (or better yet run to Lallybrook and wait to see if he survived before leaving)
You seem to be a huge fan of outlander!
@P.C. WEST : But she was pregnant and since they lost their first baby, they of course didn't want to lose this one either, i personally think, that she should've come back to past, hide from Frank with the baby, and raise her alone !!!
In the book he asks her to go because their child is the only thing that will be left of him in this world as he believes he will die in a few hours. She cant say no to that.
@@n-kin9598 that's what he says in the show as well - before they reached Craig na Dun
I disagree. She was taken from her Honeymoon with Frank. I would want to be with my husband, the first and only husband pronounced before GOD
My heart breaks every time I watch this 😢
These actors are brilliant. They really pull you into their world and the the writer is amazing . With my Scottish ancestors from the highlands I could feel a little of what their life must of been like
I’m not a believer of soul mates. But this scene had me shedding a tear. We all dream of a love as strong, as equal, and as purposeful as Jamie and Claire’s❤❤
He is a superior man.
To love and trust someone like that…I wonder what it is like.
I could watch this scene a million time... every single time I cry my eyes out
Ive not see this at all. I must have been under a rock!! Well tell me? Please when he touched her hand on it did she disappear & he remain??
@@d.b.4201 you should REALLY see it!! I don’t want to spoiler anything don’t make me do this 😭😭
@@d.b.4201 don’t make us do spoiler ..l would suggest watching or read books …. Or BOTH
same
This scene literally left my heart ❤️ on the floor broken 💔!! I cried 😭 so much that I lost my breath 😭! Once again Sam and Cait deliver a performance of a lifetime. You really could feel the sadness 💔and loss they were going there right then and in the year's to come!! God there's no other series out there like Outlander that deliver such raw heart 💔😭 and ❤️felt moment's!!
I lost my breath😁🥰
You're so right. This scene had me in floods of tears. You forget completely that you are watching two actors, the emotional investment in Jamie and Claire is so complete. And my tears were compounded by the knowledge of what was waiting when Jamie returned to Culloden and the deaths of so many brave but exhausted Highlanders. Yet, the cause of it all died many years later.
All the cast of this outstanding series deserve as many accolades as it is possible to give. It will be a very long time indeed before I stop thinking about OUTLANDER. And I shall watch it again.
I couldnt agree more. This and many other scenes had me sobbing pretty much. The intensity of everything going on and the realization of losing the love of your life forever is heartbreaking. Sam and Cait are unbelievable together and truly pull you in. I cant get enough of Outlander! The love story is second to none in my opinion.
Every time i watch this scene I cry😭
This was the best scene & heart wrenching of the thought of what that would have been like if you had to live it. Bawled my eyes out. Just Stunning 💔😢❤️
I wish they had shown us Jamie right after, like his reaction and stuff rather than just the fight at Cullodden
Just rewatched this after a few hours of rewatching Outlander clips waiting for new episode for season 6 to come out. This scene is still breaking my heart after the years it's been since I watched it in the show. Like Jamie said "it tore my guts out"
This scene is amazing, such amazing actors, in the book it goes into more detail and is very erotic and gives an even more indepth element to the heartbreak they are both going through , the author is incredible to come up with this incredible story
That was Heartbreaking 💔💔💔
love profound...great sacrifice..its t heart n soul f t whole outlander seasons n episodes❤❤❤❤❤
I am not a cryer at all but this scene had me balling like a damn baby.
“I don’t hear anything Claire “ 😢😢
why did they cut out the “and God I loved her well” 😭😭😭
Another one of the most heart-tugging scenes
this is the stuff of epic, sweeping romance.
I have been wondering about the beginning, when Jamie was looking at Claire through the window above him and Frank catches him. That part was never answered until... 1:06-1:18
como llore con este capitulo!!
the most beautiful and moving moment 😭😭
I cried so loud for this part 😩😩😩😩
No matter how many times I watch this part still gets me evetytime
This show has covered A LOT of ground since our dynamic duo said goodbye at Craigh Na Dun. It's got a completely different feel now that they're in America and accompanied by daughter Bree, hubby, and wee bairn. We're getting closer to The Waltons with every new season. Of course, Jamie will have to stop murdering people to bridge the gap successfully.
LOL the Waltons. OMG so true, so true. It is still a good show. I still look forward to watching. But there is nothing like the magic of seasons 1 and 2.
UGH THE PAIN THE PAIN
In all honesty this show made me fell in love with the Scottish culture
The acting is so believable man!
We need more Claire & Jamie and less Brianna & Roger
No I’m GONNA FREAKING CRY! 😭😭😭💔
Favorite scene!
I love you Jaime and Clarie,,,,❤❤❤❤
I was devastated 😢
If you think about how they must be feeling... for them this was their last goodbye as Jamie was supossed to die in Culloden, they both knew it and even like that they put their bairn first...
Such a sad moment😢
Awn 😢
Hi how are you Laura?
I cried so hard when they said goodbye
Meravigliosi Jamie e' Claire🥰❤️
¡Makes me cry!😢
He does endure 200 years of purgatory because he stays as a ghost and watches her at the beginning before this all started
Is this true?
Such a great scene. Best love-story and couple.
Jamie e Claire vocês estão muito bonito e maravilhoso Ilove you beijos 😘😘😘😻😻💙❤💜💚🥃🥃
This episode made my female relatives cry, the next episode made my male relatives cry
Loool
So sad 😞
😢😢
He looks stunning❤
I love outlander and I love all the characters but sometimes I miss when it was just Claire and Jamie
I'm a man and I cried from this scene as well.
Can I like this twice? 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔
There is one tiny thing that annoys me: when he says “And I, you.” That’s not really that same nor has the same impact as saying “I love you.”
On the contrary. The eyes, the voice say everything : And I, You !
I sorta liked it bc it seemed something one would say in his “time”….
Quel tristesse cet épisode ❤❤
This makes me wanna read the books so bad. Claire did Frank petty in the series cause they made Frank a loveable sweetheart and devoting husband when i'm being told in the book he mistreated Claire and took her for granted supposedly. Ugh it makes me wish they made Frank less likeable in the tv show so that i could feel better about loving claire and james together. This scene is great btw. I love th ese two actors so much.
I left my husband when I was pregnant .....We were living in Jordan 🇯🇴 and in 1984 it was so different to where I grew up, primitive too . Luckily back in England 🇬🇧 I had a C-section after almost 4 days of Labour Our son was 9lbs and healthy , I don't think that would have been the case over there. I lost a baby as Claire did.
Do these stones become some sort of stationary De Lorean? 😆
is this part of how & why he's a ghost in episode 1? If I have to endure 200 years in purgatory.
“….I loved her well” was just cut…??
I remember crying the first time I saw it and the second third...😂
Hilarious that you edited out the lovemaking. Clutching your pearls on your own AMAZING show is just silly
If I was Claire I would have stay with Jamie till I die
😥😢😥😢😥
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
😢😢😢😢
Been so long since I watched this, why couldn't Jamie simply come with her? Did only a few have the ability, like Claire, Geilis, and others?
Only certain people are born with the gene to time travel (it’s hereditary) and Jamie will never be able to (according to Diana) he doesn’t hear the sounds of the stones or any other time travel hot spot (the cave in Jamaica) that only time travelers can hear. Claire, Geillis, Roger, Master Raymond are someone of the few who can.
😭😭
I could not imagine needing to send my wife away. This scene destroys me everytime I watch it.
🌹
How does this just have 20,000 views???
A lot of the fans are older generation. They’re not gonna be as visible on internet.
@@RojaJaneman True ! And sad at the same time !
Why jamie just say "i, you" not "i love you" to claire??? Can someone explain this?
Just listen to his monologue earlier in the clip. He expressed his love
Literally WORST part of the show I was so upset 😭😭😭
I will never forgive those 20 years they were forced to be apart.
Sometimes I like to pretend that this never happened and they had bre together & went back to lallybroch to live happily ever after.
So he's obviously the "ghost" staring at her window in the first episode, that made Frank believe she ran away with a highlander.
But why just the one appearance? Was it a dream for him in his time, like with his grandkids?
Why does she have to leave?
her name is Chloe or Cleo tho
Claire !
Season 3 was the best season.
Don't @ me.
Season 1 is elite 😝
she told you thats not claire thats carol bradshaw
Never understood how she’s about to give birth then returns newly pregnant!??
@Pamela Morris That's because they had two, their first daughter was born dead, then she gets pregnant again (here, she's one, two months pregnant) with their second daughter !!!
@@giuliapicchiotti I actually went and rewatched it to remember that she lost baby Hope, and when she went back home she was pregnant with her daughter who comes through the stones to warn her mother of the fire. Thanks
She was two months pregnant when she went back to Frank through stones.
@@pamelamorris3148 The first baby was named Faith :)
@@pamelamorris3148 Faith, and you're welcome :)
I lost all respect for Jamie’s character and stopped watching after he knocked Randle out and didn’t cut his throat.
Randle:
(1) beat him within an inch of his life
(2) caused his father’s heart attack
(3) Raped his sister
(4) attempted ( had her dressed lifted) to rape Claire
* Jamie simply knocks him out and doesn’t cut his throat. Really????!
Oh, definitely the opposite. The one who shows mercy, the one who lets his desire for revenge go - is always the bigger and better man.
Самый ужасный момент сериала для меня. И ещё - шантаж Дженивы.
